Delmonicos is our favourite restaurant and we always want to give other places our custom but not for long.......we keep coming back. Everywhere else is always compared to Delmonicos and they always come up short. We are proud to call it our local, and its most definitely among the top restaurants in the west.

My partner and I have been to Delmonicos several times in the last few years both for special occasions and an evening out during the week taking advantage of their discount offers. I would recommend it to anyone. The food is excellent the service attentive but not intrusive, the menu changes regularly and their sunday lunches are very good value. Their tapas range is also varied and not expensive and the location is ideal for those who do not want to travel all the way into the centre but still enjoy excellent food in a pleasant atmosphere.

I took my wife to the restaurant on a Thursday Night to celebrate our wedding Anniversary. I found the food and wine to be very enjoyable. The service was very good but could have been just a little more personable. The menu has a good selection. Visiting on a Thursday night we took advantage of the special offer of £15.95 for two courses plus an extra £2 or £3 (I can't recall after all the wine) for desert. The food was well cooked and served promptly My only slightly negative is the cheese and biscuit selection, which consisted of two pieces of brie, smoked cheddar and four identical flavourless wheat biscuits and onion relish. Now this may not be an issue for everybody but and is down to my personal taste. I enjoy having a choice of nice strong cheddar or stilton and a variety of traditional biscuits. Nevertheless this meal was enjoyable and I would recommend a visit. Before or after (or both as we did) I would also recommend a drink in the nearby pub the Robin Hoods Retreat.

After reading some good reviews of this venue my partner and I decided to give it a try. Taking advantage of the %20 off if you order prior to 7pm we ventured out on a Friday night. The food was good, service could have been a bit more attentive, but that? a relative thing I guess as some people want to have plenty of time between courses and others prefer to eat and move onto other places. A few minor grips. The %20 discount wasn? applied to my bill when it was first presented and at home I noticed that I had been charged for drinks I didn? order. In fairness both of these things were dealt with quickly and without fuss. I would definitely eat there again and would positively recommend it.

Have been there twice and the food is outstanding. Is a cosy place with a great atmosphere. the staff were friendly and the service great. Perfect for a special occasion or a romantic meal.
