Unfortunately the mains salmon meal was not available because the chef could not make hollandaise sauce .Instead we could only have salmon with the peppercorn sauce used for a Starter. This sauce was not at all appropriate to enhance the salmon spoiling the taste of the fish and surrounding vegetables . As a consequence the meal was spoilt the three of us could only scrape the sauce off the salmon to eat that and leave the rest of the meal . Very disappointing indeed. Starters were okay and dessert -ice cream scoops tasty for 2 of us.

Bank Holiday Monday, table of 4. Terrific food, great staff, exemplary service and a really nice atmosphere. We had a meal inside and then sat out with a drink and played cards. A lovely evening all round. Thank you.
