Situated in a pair of converted Victorian shops in Bollington, near Macclesfield, this restaurant and bar is a sister venue to West Didsbury’s multi-award-winning Lime Tree restaurant and wine bar. The Lime Tree in Bollington is split into three dining and bar areas and has a pretty courtyard with views of the famous local landmark, White Nancy. Head Chef Rick Bell has put together a modern British menu that changes regularly and is firmly based on local produce, much of it coming from their own Hardingland Farm where they breed their own rare-breed pigs, cattle and lambs. The Lime Tree is open right through from 11am until 10pm Tuesday to Saturday and from 10am to 6pm Sundays for brunch, lunch and dinner. A private function room with its own bar is available for weddings, parties and events.
