Pad Thai Restaurant, Malling

Food fine, but not exceptional and as such definitely overpriced. Veggie banquet for 2 with 2 glasses of wine came to £75, about £20 more than it really should have been.

Posillipo Tuo And Mio, Canterbury

This is a gem of a place. Authentic Italian staff (at least some are), wine and cuisine. Highly professional and friendly service being efficient yet unhurried. Lovely combination of smart and informal. Pizza we had was wonderful, baked in a wood burning oven - fed by the expert hand of Enzo the owner. Nothing better to make you feel good than the crackle and sight of a wood burning oven and the crackle of conversation over fine wine and fresh, tasty, good food. Probably my favourite Italian now.

This place is to be highly recommended from my experience. All bases are covered including food and wine, service and style. The atmosphere has a nice degree of decorum - special in fact. The staff range from professional, friendly to quirky, and that's a good range for me. We had a wonderful meal. The only thing that didn't work were the 'violet' potatoes. Blue food is probably only best reserved for blueberries, besides, it did nothing for the potatoes. And I think there are much better coffees to be found. Oh and nice hotel, just wish they would utilise the magnificent open fires to add the finishing touches it is crying out for! I know open fires can be a hassle, but people expect the effort and do appreciate it. I hope its not another Health & Safety reg that is putting them off using them. And cost will not do as an excuse. But apart from these three weak points, a wonderful experience.

Simply the best in the area.
Silka Restaurant, Ashford

Not sure why this restaurant is not chosen over and above its busier and nearby rival. In my view, based on 40 years curry eating experience, it's excellent.
The Belfry, Birchington

Dave - Birchington
This is a great place to eat, be it for a quick Lunch or Dinner out. The Food is exceptionally good, freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The hospitality of the staff is very good which adds to a really good eating experience. To my mind The Belfry is probably the best restaurant in Thanet if not East Kent in terms of value for money, I can not think of any other venue in the area where you can get a 3 course Lunch of this quality for under £12.
The Piranha Club, Sheerness

We have dined at The Piranha a number of times now, and have only good to say about it. The place and ambience is wonderful. The staff are friendly and bend over backwards to make your time a memorable one with them. Oh, by the way, the food is beautiful, a different twist to the normal curry you'd expect.
The Pippin, Maidstone

Love the Pippin and go at least once a month. the food, wine and service is outstanding and what is better the visit won't break the bank! If you go try the burger it is divine and for those veggies try the risotto.
