Great thai restaurant ever found in the Wirral, Brilliant service!! Fantastic portion sizes for a thai meal at great prices....loved the satay skewers they were by far the biggest skewers I've ever had in a thai restaurant and at £5.50 it was great value.....
Must try the banana fritters though....brilliant presentation...lovely combination all around.....will be returning very soon.

We had a lovely lunch here on a Friday lunch-time. The menu was good and the quality of the food was excellent. The service was friendly and prompt and the set course lunch was good value.

The food at Carob is excellent. We have eaten three four times now and were so impressed, we booked for our staff Christmas party. Delightful presentation and an interesting menu.

Having been to Carob tonight, the restaurant is very stylish in appearance- comfy seats- a little tightly packed. The food is good, our main course fish dishes were excellent, very tasty and well presented although the starter shrimps were straight from the fridge, served cold and in a block of butter- not warm, this is apparently how they serve potted shrimp- I asked! What lets Carob down is the service, plonked on an unset table when we had booked days in advance, no menus or drinks offered for 10 minutes, waitresses who knew nothing about the food and couldn't identify what was what when it arrived. Wine that only arrived after we finished the starter- even after asking 4 times and coffee that never materialised. Desserts were excellent though-
