Navigation Inn – WolverhamptonBest steak anywhere great family atmosphere. Decor typically continental. Been here many times and still think it's the best place for miles. Excellent service would recommend it to anyone.
Dal Forno Ristorante – ShirleyThe food was excellent aswell as the atmosphere until a middle aged waiter had spoilt my girlfriends night by constantly eyeing her up and kept trying to flirt but unfortunately for him, he was very poor at speaking English other than that it was all very good.
Paprika – Solihullvery good Chinese restaurant, once you finished the dinner you can also choose your breakfast and dessert to bring it home. the birthday there is a amazing.
Wing Wah Chinese Restaurant – ErdingtonStill going strong and still the best Indian restaurant in the world!
Channis Indian Restaurant – Balti Trianglei have eaten at the malt shovel on many occasions hence i have recommended my family that's why all my family are going for a birthday meal on 25.08.10
Malt Shovel – Great BarrI would definitely recommend this restaurant. It was my son's 24th Birthday and they made us feel very welcome. Great atmosphere, and the mixture of Indian and Italian food meant that you could mix-and-match (a great idea). The service was excellent and very attentive. Most important - the toilets were clean and fresh. Will be visiting again very soon.
Duet Cuisine – Fort DunlopI’ve just returned with my family from the Red Lion in Bobbington. And I’m not impressed. Firstly the food which was distinctly below average. My beef stroganoff had clearly been warmed up in the microwave, and not enough as it was just about warm enough to eat but not piping hot. The meat was tough, the rice was stale and dry and the mushrooms and sauce were watery. My wife had the rib-eye which was meant to be cooked rare; it was cooked medium at best. The chips were basically oven chips and had also just been warmed up. The kids had lasagna and chicken nuggets, again much the same. The service was mixed – the two waitresses did fine, but the manager landlord verged on being rude. As we arrived at the pub, he barged through the door in-between the kids and me, clearly in a hurry to deal with something else. I waited at the unattended bar for over 5 minutes before he returned to serve some drinks. The price was extortionate for what we got – just over 70 quid for 4 main courses, a few drinks and some side orders – all of the food was really up to microwave ready meal standard. My recommendation is to go to the Kingswinford Harvester instead – a few nights ago we got a similar sort of family meal. It was nothing special, but the food was all fresh, cooked well and the bill was about a tenner less.
The Red Lion – StourbridgeHad my first meal at Gian Carlo's and truly enjoyed the evening. The staff were fantastic. It was a quiet night at the restaurant and we spent 2 and a half hours dining. The food was excellent. I have dined at a number of Birmingham's Italian restaurants and none have impressed me like this one. Food reasonable priced. I will definitely be returning. Fantastic!
Gian Carlo’s – Hall GreenI came to your restaurant on Monday 9th August 2010 on Hobs Moat Road. I came with my boyfriend and would like to take this opportunity to thank you for a first class service. The food was lovely, the decor and set out of the restaurant was lovely and the staff were very accommodating. As we were leaving the rain began to pour and at this time a lovely gentleman who I think was the manager at this time, offered us a drink to keep us out of the rain until it stopped, this was a lovely gesture, I was very happy and felt very welcome the staff were lovely. First Class service and restaurant. Thanks for a lovely evening We will definitely be coming back Kind Regards Miss jeena shaw
Pavarotti – Solihullwell to be honest i actually thought this place had been shut for years, i lived across the road while growing up, and have seen it change hands so many times, its nice to hear its still going and i will be going this month to visit, so wish me luck xxx

Wing Wah – CoventryWell sorry to say been to this restaurant with my work mates. But the food was so greasy and couple of us had the runs the following day. It's was very expensive but that we don't mind. If only the food was good. Plus we had problems with waiter . It was a bit like Manuel from faulty towers ! Will try next door next week !
