Food is really nice......i had gone through all of their menus but i like the south Indians (its hot off the tawa) pav bhaji is bit on the downside but with the price the foods are worth.

Shobhas – ErdingtonHighly recommended; we have been coming here for 25 years; the food is always fresh so expect a little wait but well worth while. Charming staff friendly and attentive but relaxed atmosphere with some unusual dishes such as Murghi Cholley Sagwalla; Lamb Pinnee; Muchalee Luzzutt-check them out. Probably around £15 per head.
Kababish – MoseleyAn absolutely brilliant place for an evening out. The best food and atmosphere I have experienced outside Spain
La Plancha Spanish Tapas and Cocktail Bar – MoseleySabai Sabai has recently undergone refurbishment extending the restaurant to seat approx 40 covers. This was a great idea, the new look is fantastic and the seating adds to the buzz of the already vibrant place. The menu continues to be great, with pla choo chee as a firm favourite and wonderful curries. The staff are also attentive and friendly. Well worth regular visits.
Sabai Sabai – MoseleyThe best curry house in Coventry!! The lamb rogan josh is the best I've had!! (and I've been to that many curry houses I'm 20 stones!!) (Although I was 23 so they must be using low fat cream on the tikka massla which is my 2nd dish) Parking around the place can be hard though... Also take your own drinks!!
The Mint – CoventryDisgusting!!! Dripping in oil...lets put it this way if you want to taste your food forget it but on the other hand if you love oil and I mean love your food dripping in oil then this is the place for you. I asked the waiter to remove the oil and he did but even after removing half a bowl of oil all I could taste was oil. The waiter's response everyone complains about the oil but the chef doesn't listen. I didn't eat the food. I asked the waiter to fetch the manager to express i didn't want to pay full price as I haven't had anything to eat. The manager's response "you are the first to complain and I will give you 10% off" extremely arrogant!!!. I thought that was a slap in the face and noticed the waiters, chef(s) looking over at our table making us feel uncomfortable. We paid in full. Left never to return. So as I said if you love your oil and do not wish to taste anything but oil then I would say this restaurant is for you. Oh & finally, health inspectors should shut this place down to decrease obesity!!!!
Hajee’s Spices – Balti TriangleI have 5 words to describe this restaurant: HEART ATTACK ON A PLATE!!!
Hajee’s Spices – Balti TriangleGreat restaurant never fails to deliver, with great food. I've been eating at balti bazaar for the past 5 years, by far the best restaurant in Stirchley, great food at a cheap price, and you even get a 20% discount with take aways!!
Balti Bazaar – StirchleyFantastic food, great all rounder!! Drinks/Milkshakes are great and so are the chicken pakoras...parking is the only problem with this restaurant though cannot complain at all about the service, atmosphere or the food....
Hajee’s Spices – Balti TriangleWent here for my wifes 60th Birthday with my son & partner, never had Japanese food and was a bit hesitant but what a great night, The chef livened up the experience instantly! From the flaming start to the fried egg catching to the complete meal cooked in front of you. Great night will go again.....
Miyako Teppanyaki – Birmingham City Centrebest food in the area ,best deco, best and friendly service its just best and you must try
New Spice Restaurant – WolverhamptonMy boyfriend and I had a fantastic evening yesterday here, the food and the waiting staff were equally delightful. My boyfriend hates the set menu culture of Valentines Day, so getting him out at all was a bit of a nightmare! Thanks to the relaxed atmosphere and varied (and delicious) menu, I now have him fully converted and we both had a fantastic time.
La Plancha Spanish Tapas and Cocktail Bar – MoseleyIt is a restaurant that i would have no problem recommending to all. The food and the friendliness of the restaurant makes it so special. The food is great.. Nothing it to much trouble for them My Husband booked up for Valentines Day as he knew how much i enjoy going there. To my surprise they had not put extra on for the fact it was Valentine Day They also opened as on a Sunday they close. After having a wonderful evening My Husband asked for the bill and a long stem red rose came to the table to. What could have been more perfect I love the Restaurant and the staff and the people that own it. You will see me back again. To much on the menu that i still have to try
La Nonna – SheldonI visited La Nonna on Saturday with 5 of my friends, I had the time of my life. The atmosphere was excellent and food was even better. Maria, our attentive waitress was there for our every need. We can't wait to go back. I will be recommending this restaurant to Gordon Ramsey, I think that this place should be up for an award. It's the best. Go and try it for yourself, you will not be disappointed.
La Nonna – SheldonHaving been to Regards last evening with family members who had been previously my husband and I did not enjoy our meals that much. We were disappointed and felt our share of the cost of the bill for six people, £52 per couple was not great. However, being ill is the worst outcome. Unfortunately I had to fetch my husband from work at 2.00pm (he should have worked till 6.30pm) as he was taken really sick and the Paramedic where he works confirmed that as we thought the cause was a dodgy meal. We can only attribute this to Regards and wish we had gone to our normal curry house the Bengal Garden where we have been going for many, many years without a problem.
Regards Restaurant – Sutton ColdfieldI have been to Ashas a couple of times and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys Indian food. All their dishes are well prepared and presented. Nice atmosphere and at good location.
Asha’s Restaurant – Birmingham City CentreDO NOT EAT HERE FOR SAKE OF YOUR HEALTH I would never eat at another Frankie and Bennys if it was free and were invited by posh and becks to join them. I took my partner and two children mid week for my partners pre Bday meal, we had to wait 10 mins to be seated as there was no one on the front of house. We ordered some drinks with the waitress who was very pleasant when mine and the childrens drinks came all three glasses were very dirty. the waitress changed the drinks immediately. first cousre of garlic bread with cheese came which we were going to share all four plates were covered in old grease and cheese. I asked for the manager to come to the table when i showed her the plates and explained about the glasses she apologised and said that the dish washer was not working properly and had been like it for weeks. I stated that the food was good but the cleanliness was sub standard. Agagin she apologised an said she would speak with the manager, when i stated that i had asked for the manager she said she was the assisstant manger and the manager had not turned up. when the main meals arrived again the plates were dirty with the food on them when i complained again and stated that i was totally disgusted and wanted to know how she would rectify this issue as ther is now a very dissatissfied customershe apologised and said that maybe i should not eat here again, and assumed i was just after a free meal. My disgust for this establisment and its so called trained staff will never subside. I recoomend to everyone i know never to set foot in this place and to eat at Mcdonalds as at least the place is clean. the only good thing about the place was the waitress who was friendly and pleasant. If Frankie and Benny exist in real life i think they would be disgusted that the good intention they started with to provide a fun family atmosphere, good honest service and great moral values has been lost in the ether to a very young management who just dont care and cant wait for the paycheck at the end of the month.
Frankie and Benny’s – NorthfieldI would not recommend this restaurant at all, we went for a special occasion, and the experienced we had at the restaurant totally ruined the special occasion. Throughout the meal the service was terrible, very slow, and it wasnt particularly busy, so dont know what is would be like on a busy night!! My partner poured the wine, minutes later it nearly went all over the floor, through no fault of our own, as we had such a wobbly table, to a great extent too!! This should have been checked before allowing customers to come into the restaurant. After waiting a while to be served after I called a waiter over to tell them we were ready to be served. We finally ordered. From time of ordering to actually getting our meal was around an hour later, we were absolutely starving. When the meals came we were extremely disappointed with what we seen and tasted. First of all I have eaten a many Italian Restaurants, and have never ever experienced an Italian Meal to be full of Coriander (the herb which is mainly used in Mexican and Indian Cooking). My meal was full of it and I absolutely hate it, it is way too over powering. No mention on the menu that it would be smothered in coriander, if I had of known, or the waiter would have said, I would have asked for it without. I did call over the waiter and told him I hated coriander and he wasnâ??t willing to do anything about it or my meal, at that point I eat it, it was either me eating, after waiting over an hour, or passing out!! It was the worst meal I have had, The fish was over cooked and the meal was quite tasteless, all I could taste it the horrible coriander. My partner didnt think much to his meal either, and was still hungry after eating it. Throughout the meal the service was terrible, very slow, and it wasnt particularly busy, so dont know what is would be like on a busy night!! Also the desserts were hardly worth having, when we left the restaurant we were still hungry and after forking out a lot of money for a nice meal we dont expect to still be hungry when we leave!! Not value for money at all!! Lastly the restaurant was cold, there was no heating on. The toilets were so cold it was like walking into a freezer. There was no soap or hot water to wash hands with. You should really not experience all these faults when you are paying good money (you are not the cheapest restaurant around, by far!!) to eat in a nice restaurant. I will not be recommending it, after the terrible experience we had!! I have written a letter to this restaurant for their feed back on the terrile experiences we had, and it was not responded too!!
