India Garden – ErdingtonFood wasn't fresh, tasted like it had been re heated over and over again. The price promised on the phone was not what they charged, when challenged they refused to admit their mistake or lie! Ruined our afternoon.
Peachy Keens – YardleyHaving now used this take away several times have always found the food excellent with that special home cooked taste. Staff are always very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend to others.
Agrabad The – SolihullWe have only been to mother india once, a few weeks ago, we found the food very poor, the interior very shabby and the service awful. Not only were we given the wrong food but it was also very bland & cold. We wont be returning.
Mother India – Sutton ColdfieldOur favourite place to eat by far. Have a Indian meal every Saturday and all agree this offers the best food. Well presented and friendly staff and good value for money.
Balti Palce – WolverhamptonOur favourite place to eat by far. Have a Indian meal every Saturday and all agree this offers the best food. Well presented and friendly staff and good value for money.
Balti Palce – WolverhamptonMy family organised a surprise dinner for my birthday at The Malt Shovel. I had a fantastic time and really felt spoiled for a night. Not many restaurants do pay as much attention to you as they did there. The waitress was lovely and she even surprised me with a delicious cake full of candles and lots of smiles. We were booked in the restaurant area, relaxing atmosphere and beautiful set up but I wanted something a bit more lively so the manageress was kind enough to arrange a table for us in the bar area. Even though it was pretty busy we were served in time and we enjoyed the night near a warm fire place making us forget the freezing cold snow outside. We were given 2 menus and explained all the queries we had, they specialise in fish on the specials menu. I had Jamaican spiced chicken with lettuce and sugared mango as a starter and braised lamb shank with infused carrots and jus for my main. It really made my evening. The night finished with a couple of drinks at the bar and some fun time in the garden building up a snow man. I had a great surprise birthday party beside my family but celebrating it at the Malt Shovel at Barston was the icing on the cake. I would highly recommend the pub but defiantly book in advance.
The Malt Shovel At Barston – Solihullhi One of the Worst Spanish food ever. The food served was very dull and seemed left over from previous nite. The service was poor as the waiter at the bar did not even bother to show me and my girl friend to the table. The place was so small and the decor awful. The girls waiting on us were warm n friendly with their service, the man seemed miserable.I would not recommend this place .Its highly rated for no reason.
La Plancha Spanish Tapas and Cocktail Bar – MoseleyHighly recommend The Village Pantry Walmley, Excellent coffee and Panini's, my colleague had a Jacket with Chicken Curry and said it was delightful! and great value for money £2.85 for a panini but the size of a baguette - not the small things you get in Druckers - delicious!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND KEEP IT THAT FRIENDLY SHOP YOUVE GOT
The Village Pantry – Sutton Coldfieldi have been few time to this restaurant, the food is excellent, however, the manager is very rude when it come to taking care of customers, i can't believe he made us wait for 10 mins with no apology and no update, we felt totally forgotten, we asked other waiter twice about our table, they go to check with the manager but he just never got back to us, very disappointing.
Ponte Di Legno – MoseleyBest tandoori restaurant in Shirley. Food always excellent. Staff all funny and friendly. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.
Oasis Tandoori Restaurant – ShirleyWe didn't try this restaurant for quite a while even though we have known it was there for years. Since the first visit we realised what we'd been missing and go there regularly now. Sheldon is abundant with Balti's but this one is different. The food has more flavour and as a vegetarian they will always cater for me. We score this restaurant very high.
Varsha – SheldonBAD customer service.....................
Buffet Island – Erdingtonvery nice food
Master Catering and Snacks – HandsworthThe food here is wonderful - delicious, freshly cooked, generously portioned, spicy and flavoursome without being hot and overpowering. The restaurant is small and usually very busy, but the service doesn't suffer and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The prices are very reasonable. Very highly recommended!
Shiraz – EdgbastonOn 28th November we held my husbands 50th birthday party at The Oak. We had pig roast with accompanying salads, entertainment (live soul singer) and fireworks. My family all stayed in the rooms with a hearty breakfast the next morning. The evening was a terrific success, everything ran really smoothly and we have been inundated with thanks you cards. A very big thank you to The Oak. My
