We have enjoyed several delicious meals here with friendly ,attentive staff.The tandoori fish is excellent.

I like the Black Boy, I have special needs, and every time I go the staff always look after me. I like to sit next to the window and look out onto the canal, I like canals. The food is very nice and the gravy on the chill con carne is especially good. The price of the food is very good. I am not allowed alcohol any more but the drinks are good value, they make me a big glass of lime squash for 25p Will be going back shortly I hope Please

Visited Longfellows two months back, from entering to leaving everything was just great. Will be going back before Christmas and then hope to find time to pay regular visits. Peter and Carol Mullins.

The new look horse & Jockey WOW is all I can say

i have been today there ;) i did eat masala chips and masala fish starter and my meal was king prawn jalfrezi with the garlic nan!! everything was to perfection... Waiters were very good. And very friendly atmosphere! I will come back with my friends. We were enjoy!!

I first went to Akrams to celebrate in niecez 18th and my sons 15th Birthday. There was a party of11 of us and our table was booked in advance with no problems and a very friendly manner. Whilst we were there the service was fantastic the staff couldn't do enough and made us feel completely at at home and i was delighted with the fact that all members of my family were catered for including my 9 yr old niece. The food was delicious served altogether. As a result of this we have returned to this restaurant with the children as they have a menu specifically for them. Outstanding service brilliant food great value, this is now our favourite Indian Restaurant 10/10 highly recommended!!!***

This is the best chip shop in Birmingham if you ask my opinion! The fish is gorgeous, with crispy golden batter, the chips made from bits of Heaven itself! This is well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed

Way back in the 1960's Tony, as I knew him by, started this Fish & Chip shop. The food was superb in those days, the fresh roe was to die for. His son meets all his fathers expectations and the only regret I have is that I am moving away from the area. However, I will be visiting and I WILL be having another meal from there. Thank you for forty + years of absolutely wonderful food. The battered mushrooms . . . awwww!!! I could go on forever :)

I reommend this place if you fancy authentic south indian type Dosa or Idli etc. ...The good thing is that it is prepared in front of you and you can not get more fresh than that ...and quality if quite consistent each time I go...So there you go ...Taste and Decide either to agree or disagree.....I think the food is spot on and damn good value....Aaran Walia.

I WAS CYNICAL PRIOR TO TRYING THIS PLACE CALLED SHOBHA'S SINCE THE DISHES WERE PRETTY CHEAP ...BUT TO MY SURPRISE , MY PALATE CONFIRMED THE FRESHNESS AND THE GOOD TASTE AFFORDED BY COMPARATIVELY GOOD PRICE/VALUE. verdict : real good fresh tasting food , if you are in a hurry and fancy quick bite , there is no other place in Birmingham. ha ha ha....

What can i tell??? Indian food from there really good!!!!!!! Everybody go to Channis Indian Restaurant because really really brilliant there!!!! And food... Wow!!!!!!! Curry??? Wow!!!!!!!! chicken??? The best restaurant in Birmingham!!! This restaurant is different to most other Indian restaurants - the choice is better and the food tastier!!! The prices are very reasonable and the quality of food and the cooking are fabulous...Excellent Indian cuisine!!!You can feel here as at home. Fantastic atmosphere. Wonderful service. Magical, marvellous manager- chef cook!!! Service Wonderful. I would recommend this Indian restaurant to everyone! Definitely the best I've been to in the West Midlands. Good choice of dishes and the food was fabulous! ...After few weeks i will go to my country and i will hanker too Channis!!! Definitely!!! But i will come back here specially for one day and first what i am going to do is go to my Channis- because i would love try again This ethereal, original, unique (unrepeatable) savor cuury what is done with huge experience!!! There is sole in kind curry - specially taste... I can not explain to you because taste is amazing magical... What you should do guys, then??? Firstly come to the Channis restaurant for try amazing savour wonderful Indian food -You will not regret because That is made from amazing hands Channis!!! Thank you Channis!!!
