Kirans Bhalti Restaurant And Takeaway – WednesburyFantastic value. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Family run restaurants are the best.
Lychee Garden – EdgbastonThis is my favourite restaurant! The decor makes you feel like you are nowhere near Wolverhampton and all the dates I have taken there have thoroughly enjoyed the food too. Friend/family have also enjoyed it. Service is good. Food great. Ambiance is good. Great for meat eaters and vegetarians alike.
Made In Thai Restaurant – WolverhamptonThis is my favourite restaurant! Great Western Public House – BilstonForget it unless you are a Wolves Fan
Great Western Public House – Bilstonthe food was ok but the service was poor. when i entered i was not greeted and i felt uncomfortable. but the atmosphere was good and the drinks were nice.
Purple Rooms The – Hall GreenThe food was great especially the king prawn and the service was ok aswell. the thing i loved most was the atmosphere. the place was very clean and the lighting was just perfect.
Yew Tree Cottage – Yardleythe food was excellent and the service was very good. the menu is very interesting and i loved the atmosphere. the only problem was the gaffer (hes too strict)
Yew Tree Cottage – YardleyMyself and several friends went on Friday night 17.4.09, I have been there a few times before and knew how nice the food was so was happy when that's where my friends chose to go. The food is lovely staff really nice and food reasonably priced. Just need to book as its does get busy
Jilabi Indian Restaurant – SheldonFranzls is a long established family run restaurant with a great atmosphere and the food is so good and always fresh. I have never had a bad meal here and if I had to wait for my table I can go down to the beer keller and have a cold one. This is one of only two restaurants I would recommend for there good reputation over many years.
Franzls – SandwellLovely food, lovely setting. Not the most child friendly of places but will definitely return
The Boycott Arms – WolverhamptonAte at San Carlo again at the weekend and thought to myself as a regular Sugarvine user that I must come on here to write a recommendation for it! My partner and I regularly go to restaurants in town and San Carlo is the restaurant we revisit the most. The service, food and wine are, as always, absolutely excellent. The effort put in to creating the dishes is visible when the food is put in front of you. All meals are presented delightfully, something that I as a diner appreciates and San Carlo as restaurateurs clearly recognise the value of. We’re always quite adventurous with the wine list and again must compliment San Carlo for a diligent selection of wines. So, I hope this is a shining endorsement for those who are yet to be acquainted with San Carlo, I truly can’t recommend it enough.
San Carlo – Birmingham City Centrevery tasty and great food..halal Chinese and also indian/pakistani cuisine, great decor, great position on main highgate rd off startford rd...more chinese dishes than normal chinese restaurants!
Lahore Karahi – Balti TriangleDining Date: 07 April 2009 Initially its a very daunting place to be, but once you get used to the way it works, Jimmy Spices is a great night out. On arriving the staff are attentive and seat you quickly, drinks orders are taken and then you're off. There is such a choice of food that you just don't know where to start and first you pile up your plate, however, you learn and realise you can take your time. The starters are great, the mains are fantastic and the noodle bar chefs are friendly and make your dish to order just as you like it, spicy etc.... Don't get me started on the dessert choice, as I would've paid just for the desserts. This is a totally value for money restaurant, very child friendly, full of choice and variety. Five Star recommendation p.s Just don't ask for a doggy bag, hehehehe
Jimmy Spice’s – SolihullThe food there is absolutely delicious.
Diwan Restaurant – Balti TriangleI visit a friend once or twice a year, he lives locally. We always go here, been here maybe 10 times now, excellent meals every time, I enjoy the fish tikka as a main course though it's on the starter menu.sublime.Not too oily as many Indian meals can be.The staff recognise us even when we go so infrequently.I'd go more if I didn't live so far away!
Omar Khayam – NorthfieldI'm a frequent visitor to Bangla either for eat in or collection. The price is very reasonable and even cheaper if you get a collection. The food is of a high quality and the service is always friendly. My favourites are hot n spicy lamb and lamb tikka pathia.
