Red Lion The – West BromwichHad a Anniversary bash At the Watan Excellent BALTI i remember this restaurant in my student days(16 years ago lol) an the food has not changed but only got better have tried so many different restaurants but the WATAN is remarkable an has thumbs up for me Keep Up the Work Lads
Royal Watan – Selly Oakfine place to dine!
Monsoon Restaurant – Kings NortonI've been dining at Trattoria Gian Carlos for over several years and have never had a bad meal. Umberto and his family are very welcoming and give your evening that personal touch. You could pretty much ask for anything even though not on the menu and if they can do it for you they will! It's great being able to take your own alcohol as this reduces the cost of your meal hugely where as in most Italian restaurants you'd be paying over and above for a half decent bottle of wine, let a lone a good quality wine. There is an Off License just around the corner too. I would recommend the prawns or mushrooms to start and any of the steaks are great or if you're on a budget the pasta is fantastic too!
Gian Carlo’s – Hall Greenvery nice food good selection friendly staff, loved the newly re furbished look , the views are still as good as ever you must try the brunch for a good start to the weekend. Evenings the duck is a must! Whether you go for a special night out or a meal in the middle of the week it is the perfect place 10/10
The Beeches Bar and Grill – SolihullFood and atmosphere excellent, great menu and wine list a must for either relaxed eating or that special occasion same great quality we have tried it all brunch lunch and evening the standard was high when ever we have eaten there, definitely a must, every one very friendly and the chef takes pride n everything we have eaten there someone who appreciates good food we always end up being enticed to eat when we see the food coming out so even when we have gone in for a drink we eat the view is a the added bonus. We are hooked
The Beeches Bar and Grill – SolihullThe conversion of an old part of Moseley which I can remember into such a great space for a restaurant is very innovative. The host and hostess were very welcoming and full of natural charm. The service was very good for such a busy evening. The food was exceptional with lots of individual flavours and spices - not just the brown gravy type of curry. A slightly pricey meal when compared to High St curry prices but well worth it for a wonderful evening.
Deolali – MoseleyLovely food, great atmosphere, well worth a visit.
Toby Carvery – Knowlevery good chippy. from the few that are around my area, i always use this one because of the amazingness!
Merritts Brook Fish Bar – NorthfieldBest Kebabs in Sheldon with hottest chilli sauce !!! Sky Tv on as well so you can watch the match whilst you wait. PM
Sheldon Fish Bar – SheldonREAL ALES AND FREE LIVE ENTERTAINMENT EVERY WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY AND SATURDAY AND A LATE BAR!!! GREAT FOOD WITH SPECIAL RATES FOR SENIOR CITIZENS, HUGE BEER GARDEN WITH PLENTY TO KEEP THE KIDS OCCUPIED, CHECK IT OUT, WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT.
Harvester The – SolihullI'd read some bad reviews about Thai Edge so didn't know what to expect when my friend chose it as the location for her birthday night out but I was very pleasantly surprised. The decor is lovely and the staff were very attentive and polite. The food was great, really tasty, and we all enjoyed it very much. We would definitely go there again.
Thai Edge – Birmingham City CentreNot sure what chip shop addict is going on about. Greasy old chips that are usually cold. In fact i had a hot chip once and i was so surprised i took it back to exchange for a cold one. The kebab meat is often white/grey (undercooked) and on top of it all it ain't cheap. Go to big johns! Also, why shut at half 10? When you get out of the pub now your only option is a curry! I'd rather not spend £15 every Friday on a curry.
Coleshill Fish Bar – Sutton ColdfieldI really enjoyed eating at The Balti Society. Me and my family order take aways from here all the time and the food is always warm and we always get a friendly smile from the driver. Also, eating in is lovely. its cheap, warm, inviting and delicious food! Plus, you can take your own drinks which also saves you a few bob!
Balti Society – SheldonHad an excellent night at Shimla Pinks on Broad street. Staff were friendly and food were great. This place definitely lives up to its reputation.
Shimla Pinks – Birmingham City CentreThe service was mind blowing was further impressed by the service from all the crew including a man named foiz uddin who was superb. I felt at home and recommend to anyone who is looking for the finest foods to visit this modern day heaven.
Darjeeling Indian Cuisine – ShirleyWonderful Restaurant, Best in the area. Only problem, needs more friendlier staff.
Darjeeling Indian Cuisine – ShirleyDisappointing, went there with my wife and two sons who later had to visit the hospital due to constant urges of the shits as they had food poisoning.
