Spicewoods – SolihullMy boyfriend and I visited on the Sunday before Valentines Day. The staff were friendly and the meal was very nice. We will definitely return and would recommend it to others.
ASK – Sutton ColdfieldMy friends and I often go for meals here. Always enjoy it and look forward to going back. Really good, inexpensive food, free salad bar, attentive staff. Would definitely recommend it.
Boldmere Harvester – Sutton ColdfieldVery friendly people who know about fish. And chips and mushy peas too. Pedro is very welcoming He cares about what he's doing and all this combines to make his chippy the best I've found. Worth a detour.
Dads Lane Fish and Chip Bar – MoseleyExcellent restaurant - well worth a visit!!! Friendly staff, cocktails, very stylish
B26 Food Of India – SheldonGreat food served in contemporary surroundings; efficient service. Try Sunday, Monday or Tuesday fixed price menus for a great deal. My wife and I were also given a free Cobra beer (no alcohol sales licence) on our last visit!
La Nonna – SheldonWe enjoy Indian food a great deal and after a disappointing previous Italian restaurant failed, it was an absolute delight to have an Indian restaurant so close to home. The food is extremely tasty, the waiters are friendly and the atmosphere makes you feel at home. I would most certainly recommend a visit to this little restaurant, albeit a small place. This restaurant also offers a take away service, which is also recommended by myself. Don't just take my word for it, go and have a try for yourself!
Jafrany – NorthfieldFantastic food and great service. A real pleasure to eat there. It will now be a regular eating place for me and it is open seven days a week.
Golden Coin Cafe – StirchleyI visited this place with 3 of my friends. 3 of us enjoyed our meals, but 1 didn?. He had mussels to start & all of the shells were shattered in the dish. Surely this should not have left the kitchen. It certainly could not have been eaten. He then had a poor main meal also. His steak was too well done - he had asked for rare. We did not pay for either of these dishes. The rest of us enjoyed our meals & couldn? complain. This certainly hasn? put me off going back, but I will stay away from those dishes
Bella Italia – Birmingham City CentreThis is a gem of a Restaurant. Cheaper than you would expect, with food of a high standard. Always full, so it can get a little close at times and it pays to book ahead. Bring your own alcohol also helps keep the price down. Beautiful natural wood and neutral colours inside with a great choice of genuine and delicious Italian food.
Ponte Di Legno – Moseleytasty pub grub
O’Neill’s – Birmingham City CentreMy partner and I went to Locanta after it was recommended by a friend. The menu was varied offering a choice of grilled meats, shish style and a wide range of pasta and pizzas. We were very happy with the dishes we ordered, the staff were very friendly and the overall ambience of the place was relaxed and cosy. We really enjoyed our evening and will definitely return in the future. I would definitely recommend Locanta.
Locanta – Birmingham City CentreJust excellent.. Plenty of choice.. great service.. we go there for every occasion. makes a great girls night out! recommended highly
Buffet Island – ErdingtonWent there on a weekday, starter not that good but i must say, the scallops were divine!! nice bottle of house wine cost approx £11.00 all in total about £80.00 for two-three course meals and side dishes.
Bank – Birmingham City CentreWhat can I say about Oceanna? Simply the best! Food was delicious service was brilliant clean and spacious
Oceanna – Kings HeathThe food was delicious. The best fish and chips I have had in a long time. I recommend it to anybody for quality fish and chips. Thank you OCEANNA. BY Katie Smith
Oceanna – Kings HeathLocation: India Garden Restaurant & Takeaway (992 Tyburn Road, Erdington, Birmingham) The Head Chef, Sheikh Shepon Uddins innovative approach to modern Indian cuisine attracts punters who might otherwise steer clear of traditional Indian cooking. Atmosphere and Décor: The décor gives a hint of what is to follow. Traditional Indian restaurant trappings have been eschewed in favour of an altogether more contemporary look. Subtle lighting, mellow, muted colours, with the dashes of white for impact, create a very pleasing dining environment. The atmosphere is relaxed and service goes well beyond the call of duty. Staff will always take time to explain the delights of the various dishes. Nosh and Drinks: The cooking draws on global culinary influences, yet still retains the best of traditional Indian cuisine. Everything is delicately flavoured, with no excessively hot or heavy sauces and the portions are extremely generous, enabling diners to savour the delicacy of each dish. Innovative combinations and deliciously subtle sauces feature strongly on the menu. Starters might include Garlic Chicken Tikka, marinated to perfection and coated in wonderful Modhu Sauce, or Tandoori, Home-Smoked Fish with Mustard and Dill. For main course, try South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken with Spicy Sauce and Fenugreek, Kashmiri Rogan Josh, Combination Dishes allowing sampling of different dishes, or India Garden Special Biryani, garnished with Battered Bananas & Egg. Desserts, in keeping with the rest of the menu, are imaginative and tempting and may include Pineapple Fritter with Honey & Rasmali, or Kulfi (Indian Ice Cream). A set lunch costs approximately £7.50 and a set dinner, around £10. The drinks list is extensive with a huge selection of beers, wines & spirits. The Experience: To experience the perfect fusion of modern and traditional Indian cuisine, a visit to India Garden is a must.
