Went with a group of ex work colleagues on Friday 10 November. Well worth the 2 hour drive there and back from Stoke on Trent. Food was excellent with a wide range available (even Jim didn't manage to sample it all!!). Deserts were superb with again a very wide choice. Many thanks to MC for the invite and the booking. Will certainly try again when hungry!

The shop owners have 28years experience in the food industry with regular update courses and certificates in hygiene, handling food and HACCP as well as his staff. the food cooked with best quality product and the fish is deliver daily fresh from Aberdeen and Grimsby fish monikers. They using cholesterol free palm oil for frying.100%lamb meet kebabs and chicken blend and marinated in spices and herbs. Very tasty and healthy. Price are very reasonable and justified by the quality and service. as the owner says :if the customers are please tell your friends if not tell him.

In my journey across Birmingham Balti triangle amer tandoori is the best place were ive eat from. top service, no waiting and at a very inexpensive price.

I definitely recommend this place. One of the nicest Indian restaurants I?e been to. Can set you back about £20 plus drinks per person. Great place- try it.

The food and service at this restaurant is second to none! every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and tasted amazing! very authentic as i have travelled to Thailand many times and the staff cant do enough for you.

Tried this restaurant yesterday following on from reading comments made by diners. I was very pleased with the quality of the food and how fresh tasting it was! There was a variety of dishes to choose from. Service was excellent! highly recommended!

Excellent take-away. Food prepared in imaginative way using good ingredients. Lemon Chicken particularly good.

Always a great meal whatever I try. Friendly fun staff and good value, especially the Dish Dash dining. £7.50 Mon-Wed for starter, main & rice or naan.

I was not very impressed. The entertainment was good but everything else average.

First trip to the Diwan last week and what a great experience! Best ever poppadoms (although the sauces were so-so) tasty starters and the main courses were well-spiced with great quality meat and very generous. Very friendly and attentive waiters, some of the best service we've had. And the price...£8 each for the lot. Highly recommended. NB Unlicensed. Which is fine by me

Hey Michael, Spot on he don? mess about !

For the average punter the restaurant is more than adequate however the more experience Indian food lover the food was rather bland, the naan bread were burnt, the chutneys were watery and flavourless.

Quite simply, my favourite Balti restaurant. If in Birmingham try it. It isn't salubrious but the food is all that matters. The naan breads are enormous. 10/10.
