A brilliant place to go and eat. I have been there a few times and am planning to go back next week as I feel it is the best place to eat in Birmingham.

A brilliant place to go and eat. I have been there a few times and am planning to go back next week as I feel it is the best place to eat in Birmingham.
Big Wok – Birmingham City CentreAlways a great meal here at very good prices, my wife and I and our friends have been eating here for over 3 years and have never had a bad meal, very friendly staff and a good delivery service if your feeling too lazy to go out. You really must try it !!
Cafe Balti – SheldonWe would like to recommend this restaurant for all occasions, as each visit has been outstanding in every way the food was of very high quality. The atmosphere was very friendly and also relaxed even though the restaurant was busy.
Studio – OldburyGreat place to eat. They have a standard buffet for 9.99 or you can pay £2 more and you can have a bbq buffet. What is a bbq buffet you might ask. Well you sit at this table which has a gas bbq built in the table. You then get the raw meat and veg and you bbq. They have a large variety of sauces and buffet and bbq dishes. Quite good with sea food dishes as well
Dragon BBQ – EdgbastonHaving tried numerous Chinese restaurants in both London and Birmingham during the 3 years I've been in the UK, I dare say that Chung Ying Garden ranks amongst the best in the country. In fact the quality of its dishes even surpasses that of many restaurants in Hong Kong! It is authentically Chinese/Cantonese and I highly recommend the prawn dumpling soup, roast duck (even better than the famous 'Four Seasons' Roast Duck at Bayswater, London), sweet and sour pork (crispy with an excellent sauce unlike most restaurants who do injustice to this dish) and Pi Pa Tofu with Seafood. Simply put, the cuisine here is exceptional, and this is really something considering my fussy palate. The restaurant also has a well stocked bar which makes it very popular with my British friends. Prices may be slightly higher than other small Chinese restaurants, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. It is also good value for money if you go with a group and share the food, which comes in generous quantities.
Chung Ying Garden – Birmingham City CentreTHE RICHEST TASTING BALTIS & CURRIES AROUND. VERY GOOD PRICES. ALWAYS PREPARED TO PREPARE DISHES TO YOUR REQUIREMENTS. BEWARE ! THE JALFREZI IS LIKE DYNAMITE.
Cafe Balti – SheldonThis restaurant represents excellent value for money and we enjoyed everything about it. The location is fab, the waiters cool and sophisticated and the food simple, efficient, beautifully presented and delicious. I would recommend it to anyone for lunch, or dinner. The pre-theatre menu is also a great idea.
Bank – Birmingham City CentreI know everyone here and use the place a lot I do recommend the food and prices!!!!!
Cafe Balti – SheldonSpacious restaurant, tables not crammed together, decent music, staff very welcoming and friendly and their special naan is to die for, stuffed with cheese, garlic and peppers, almost like a pizza plus you can take in your own drinks.
Akrams Kashmiri – StirchleyA great meal with wonderful service. Excellent variety of dishes.
Thai Edge – Birmingham City Centre`10/10 - If you want consistently fantastic food time and time again then Alfrash has to be your restaurant of choice.... We've tried most of the Balti restaurants in the famous Balti triangle but Alfrash is the jewel in the crown... Great service, fabulous food and I believe the recognised leader of Balti cuisine... My kids?even love Balti food now as this restaurant caters for my 3 and 6 yr old kids. The bill is constantly surprising each time we go as I am a bit of a curry experimenter!! Give it a try, and with a website as impressive as theirs, you've no reason not to try "Birmingham? best Balti experience"! JJ.
Alfrash – Balti TriangleExcellent food and very authentic decor. Place for special days. Not the usual curry house. Place to impress the other half.
Rajdoot Tandoori – Birmingham City CentreThe Balti Cottage has been my favourite Local for about a decade now and it never fails to give satisfaction. All the food is freshly cooked and there is a genuine difference in all the diverse dishes. They have some very good, unusual Bangladeshi fish dishes and will also make things specially. The service is friendly and quick although when busy you may have to wait a while since everything is fresh.
Balti Cottage – StirchleyReally good atmosphere, food not too good, and quite pricey.
Athens Restaurant – Birmingham City CentreA good find and one of my favourite restaurants in birmingham, certainly the best indian. It is set behind broad st in a square next to the hyatt hotel. It is very chic and modern and service has always been good. My fave food is the marinated lamb shank (which i have copied at home, dont tell the chef), it is always tender and tasty. The cost is a little more than run of the mill indians but this place is special.
Blue Mango – Birmingham City CentreWhat a great place! Have eaten in bar estilo a dozen times or so. Have never been let down yet. Food is always appetising and served at the correct temperature, service is outstanding. What really makes the place is the atmosphere... tables seem just the right distance apart to make a vibrant buzzy atmosphere. This is a tapas bar, which is part of a small chain, the staff really seem to care about who they are serving and I find the price to be reasonable for what you get. If you are feeling peckish, two tapas suffice, if you are hungry: three is enough. The drinks menu is extensive with cocktails being a speciality. All in all my favourite place to eat in Birmingham.
Bar Estilo – Birmingham City CentreA typical wagamama. The food was as any other wagamama, pretty good and plentiful. The dyoza etc were excellent and the ramman and noodles good. This is the same as every other wagamama I?e been into although I will say the service was better than most. It was exceptionally clean and the ambience good. A standard wagamama, if you like the chain you will like this.
Wagamama – Birmingham City CentreThis is my favourite Chinese in Birmingham and have eaten there many times. Food has always been very good to outstanding and they have one of the most extensive menu's I have seen. I always have the same main course I? afraid as I cant find it anywhere else, the creamy chicken curry which I have not found elsewhere. Service is always good despite the fact that the restaurant is always packed; it may be better to book ahead if you really want to eat there. Good selection of wines and beers although I always drink Chinese beer there, well you?e got to, haven? you? Would certainly recommend this restaurant.
