Caribbean Hut – WolverhamptonI have never been there but all my family specially my wife have been to Ming Moon.....no more words it's tooooooo goood..like it..am going tonight...can't wait..
Ming Moon Chinese Restaurant & Bar – Birmingham City CentreReally fantastic food services an guys lol defo go back.
Dilshad – WednesburyI visited China Town noodle bar restaurant located at unit 2 Bath passage, Ladywell Walk, Chinatown building, Birmingham B5 4SZ, I was totally appalled by the food they served: the food was not properly cooked and tasteless, it seemed the food was cooked by unqualified chefs. Some of the food was pre-cooked. In addition, the service was poor and the waitresses are not properly trained. Most of the chefs working in Chinese restaurants/takeaways in the UK are not properly trained; they were not classically trained as a Chef before working in the UK. Worse still, some of them from Mainland China working in the restaurants/takeaways are claiming asylum, and some of them hidden in the kitchen working illegally, so they do not have much experience working in the kitchen environment. Nevertheless, they are lack of traditional Chinese cooking skills, poor food hygiene standards, and poor food safety management. They cooked Chinese food with bad quality of meats and ingredients. These bogus practices cannot reflect the true value of Chinese food and its culture; their behaviours are actually destroying the Chinese culture and its reputation. Shame on you!!!
China Town Noodle Bar – Birmingham City CentreWe landed on this restaurant randomly and have to say it was the best Indian meal I have ever had.Lovely decor and the food was presented in lovely modern plates and dishes.Excellent service and good value for money. We will go again.!
Jangles – Kings HeathThe best Indian restaurant in Sutton Coldfield. Food and service superb. 10/10 .
Karma Lounge Restaurant – Sutton ColdfieldShah's has relocated to Shirley. Upon arrival you are greeted by the colourful decor. The staff are extremely attentive and the food is just superb. We have eaten there almost twice a week since they opened about 5 weeks ago. The other added benefit is that you can take your own booze.
Shah’s – ShirleyMy party of 14 booked in october, ive been there many times and had fab nights but we were so disappointed on our last visit,1st of all it was freezing in there so we all sat in our coats all night so was a waste of time dressing up!,2 of our meals had 2 be sent back! also we all paid for a 4 course meal...only got 3 course, wasnt even offered coffee!!....we expected the belly dancer which our kids were excited to watch,we were told she was defo on that night, waited till 11.30 then was told she wasnt there!!!.....the entertainment and decor is dated now n there wasnt no atmosphere like before, therefore we left early and will not be going again!
Ulysses – Birmingham City CentreUp market Indian, very pleasant evening service and food fantastic.
Suriya – KingstandingThis is the best cafe in Birmingham without doubt it's top top quality and very good value I highly recommend it and even my in laws go there when they visit from Cornwall!!!!
Marlboro Cafe – KingstandingUsed a few times in past and was good food and well priced. We were in the area and visited recently, there was a sign in window under new management come and give us a try. ordered 2 kebabs 1 x regular £3.40 and 1 x large £4.20, which for the area I considered expensive so expected something special. I was somewhat underwhelmed by the choice of salad, lettuce cut rather than shredded and somewhat limp looking, cucumber and onion - no cabbage?? I asked for cabbage and the owner replied yes i can do you cabbage if you want ...a prerequisite of a kebab I would expect???..., they cut some cabbage and kebabs was presented. The kebab was mediocre at best cabbage and lettuce was cut rather than finely shredded and overall for the money paid I was underwhelmed - I certainly wont be returning, especially as I have had to make a few toilet "runs" this morning. The chips I saw served to another customer looked poor also.....in a competitive market I would have expected so much more from a new owner......
Dolphin Twins – Erdingtonwe just finished our bussiness in Indian high commission and were on our way back to Manchester. It was very windy and raining, so we decided to stop and have lunch before we leave, and ended up in Chandni chowk, the name sounded good as my friend was from delhi and knew the food quality over there. We ordered Lamb Curry, chicken curry, channa bhatura, 2 plates of dhai bhalla, papadi chaat, Naan and 2 tandoori roti.first came the pappadi chaat, You could only taste chaat masala on top as there was a lot of it. Two spoons were enough. tasted nothing like a chaatThe food arrived and the first thing i noticed was the channa, with very thin watery gravy and the channa was freshly out of a tin. The bhutra were burnt and very oily.Lamb curry and chicken curry , it was like a joke. Lamb curry had 5 pieces of lamb and the dish was full of horrible tasting gravy.chicken curry had a lot of fat on the chicken and the gravy was tasting of raw onions. in other words terrible taste, Tandoori roti was dry and the Naan was rock hard (need a meat chopper to break it) we just left it.Dhai Bhalla??? It seemed like they had put stones insted of bhalla. They were rock hard and tasted of nothing. We just left most of the food and also comlained about dhai bhalla, but were tottaly ignored, All they were interested was in the money, and not customer satisfaction. No woner it was not busy at all jst about 2 tables. You can find better places to eat with more reasonable prices.I am one of the best chefs around and know about indian food. Chandni chowk is one of the worst i have ever tried. My advice..... dont waste your money///////
Chandni Chowk Restaurant and Sweets – HandsworthWe went to D-spice, looks good from inside, the owner Mr Shah, is a liar of many stories and was to busy looking down at my girlfriends breasts. The food smelt good but was nasty, we will not be going there again....please spread the word.....Mr Shah had hands in his pocket when he was looking at my girlfriend the dirty B*******!
Jangles – Kings HeathSimply the best in Birmingham! And I've eatenat some of the best, not just the better one'son Ladypool Road or in Moseley. You will have to pay more than double to getanything nearly as good anywhere else.
Jangles – Kings HeathI don’t usually have the time of the patience to leave feedback but in this instance I forced myself to do so. It is so rare that after dining at a restaurant I come home thinking about what excuse I can make to go back to eat there again.Last week an old university pal spontaneously came to stay with me - it was out of the blue and on a week night and I wasn’t sure where to take her at such short notice! We ended up walking around Birmingham’s City Centre and came across the buzzing atmosphere of Fumo – an Italian restaurant which is part of the San Carlo restaurant chain.Full of beautiful inviting people the night got better and better with yummy cocktails and a platter of delicious Venetian tapas which was reasonably priced and the perfect amount of food to share between two hungry girls! Under the helpful waiter’s recommendation the selection of food suitably tantalised our taste buds and left us with a full and satisfying feeling.Unknowingly we ended up spending three hours in there revelling in the friendly atmosphere and inviting fire .I thoroughly recommend Fumo to anyone, and my friend has gone back to Manchester to seek out Cicchetti, the Manchester restaurant from the San Carlo chain.A must go for anyone who wants and night out with delicious food, beautiful people and a buzzing atmosphere!
Fumo – Birmingham City CentreVisited Da Gino for the first time my wife, who is wheelchair bound, and myself. Were made most welcome inside the restaurant. The atmosphere was relaxed easy, the food was excellent and well presented which is why we plan to return very soon. Well done Gino and staff.
Da Gino – Sutton ColdfieldService and food amazing in the restaurant and the takeaway just as good. Best Indian in Solihull by far.
