Mitali Tandoori – AccringtonA good easy atmosphere. Makes you feel welcome. Good bog standard italian food, a great place to eat.
Marcos – LancasterAfter eating at the Snooty Fox Tavern, we decided to try their sister restaurant, the Stork. We were delighted with the food and service. Everything was cooked to order and the flavours were fabulous. Again we stayed the night as they have accommodation. Another great night out !!
The Stork Inn – LancasterWe eat out regularly and we found the Snooty Fox Tavern to be one of the best places we have ever eaten. We found out that they have an award winning chef ( and it shows ). The menus were excellent and the staff were lovely. We decided to stay over as well as they have accommodation. A great night out.
Snooty Fox – Kirkby LonsdaleGt ambience----lovely friendly service,& nice location. A Very good venue for fish addicts----if you dont like fish, choice is a little restricted. Not cheap, however good value.A definite recommendation.
Quite Simply French – LancasterHaving just re-visited The Naaz, we are having to eat humble pie. Since our last visit things have changed! This was always a reliable watering hole serving good food, but had lacked the sparkle of other up market curry establishments. It has now come of age, with new decour, bar area and by the time they`ve finished..posh Loos. The food remains excellent, nicely served and tasty as always. But with a new look and new menu things are really on the up. It is nice to see that even well established Restaurants can re-invent themselves occasionally and emerge even better than before.
Naaz Indian Cuisine – PrestonFirst class food in a fantastic setting, ideal venue for an intimate dinner, faultless!
Farington Lodge – LeylandExcellent indian restaurant situated above the opticians in Lostock Hall. Bloody good food with very friendly service.
Sangam Balti House – PrestonThe chef has won awards for her dishes but unfortunately none of us tried her specials. Food was good though but nan breads not very good. Service was fantastic and we got free popodoms and water. No alcohol, so if you like a beer this is not your place. Place is very small, it's practically a front room. Well worth a visit. You must try the milk shakes!
Moghuls Indian Restaurant – LancasterI used to go here a lot because it used to be the best in Accrington. Went again recently with some mates and we all had a great meal.
Mitali Tandoori – Accringtoncomfortable-cheerful-cost friendly -cosy-good nay excellent beer and clientele say us four muskateers Alice - Jill Des & Bob all of Southport.
Original Farmers Arms – ChorleyI eat here once a month and am always impressed with the food, which is very imaginative tasty and unusual. The staff are always cheery and friendly and so the atmosphere is always relaxed.
Whale Tail Vegetarian Cafe – LancasterExcellent everything was great!
Tiggis Pizzeria – PrestonThe Naaz has always enjoyed a good reputation over the last few years and our recent visit gave no leave to change that view. In many ways it`s a shame that it`s tucked away in a side street, but a blessing for those that just "drop in" because invariably they can squeeze you in somewhere. The ambience of this curry house is never likely to set the pace, but having said that, it is a good honest and clean establishment where the food is always nothing less than excellent. The service can vary, though is generally good and the starters are always worth a look. The have a varied menu which is always well prepared. I probably don`t fully do it justice because I`ve been going there for so many years. But if you want reliablity and good food you`ll certainly not go wrong here
Naaz Indian Cuisine – PrestonYou`ll never suffer a bad meal at this establishment, it`s friendly with good service and nicely prepared food. It tends to be more expensive than your average curry house, but is also a step above, so I suppose they can justify it to a point. The meal is never rushed and the menu is varied and well presented. All in all one of the better curry houses in Ceentral Lancashire and well worth a visit.
The Elephant – ChorleyThis Jewel in the Crown has been hidden away for far too long. Set inside a very tastefully converted Evangelical Church within the City centre, this is no ordinary Curry House. Having travelled all over the north west over the years in search of perfection, I`ve just about found it here. The Restaurant decor has a "WOW" factor as soon as you step inside where you`ll receive a genuinely warm and friendly welcome. The tables are set spaciously with the elbow room others lack. The service is nothing less than 1st class and the menu, though not large, indicates that what they cook, they cook well. This indeed was our experience during the whole meal, with dishes that you normally think of as fairly simple, even bland, being created with the flare and imagination to make them something special and different. In a nutshell, our 100+ mile round trip on a dank miserable winters evening, was well rewarded by the best prepared and served food I`ve had in years. We had to book a table in advance and I`m not surprised, despite being full, the meal was beyond expectations, as was the service. What a pleasant change to find somewhere that was so highly recommended and yet for it to exceed even those expectations. Excellence normally comes at a price, but not here. The value for money factor is beyond belief.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterI have been to this restaurant on numerous occasions. i have found the meals exceptional and the service very good considering it is a training restaurant.
