Been going to this restaurant or its forebears for many years. We have never been disapointed . This a long standing family based company. Quality and service have never been compromised. I booked a table at 3pm on Sat for 2. Within 30 minutes the restaurant had two huge bookings possiblly 50+. The staff were fantastic rearranging everything as even more people turned up. Throughout all this our food and service was spot on. Thanks to all the staff. We will be back.
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthMyself and my Mum took my two daughters here for something to eat after seeing a show at the Empire. The staff were friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The aesthetic of the place was great, our girls really enjoyed the gaming stations which helped to keep them entertained whilst we ate. Very quick service, great food and drinks, excellent prices. Will definitely go again!
Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentreThe food was amazing, even my son who had chicken nuggets and chips enjoyed his. The portions are quite large so we took some of the food home with us. Can't wait to come back.
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthVery good service, helpful and polite.food very nice could have done with a bit more veg.
Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreExcellent meal as usual.
Ayuthaya – CrosbyThe whole experience was tranquil, beautiful food, friendly staff and great company. What more can you ask for! We'll be back again and again and again.
Sing Faye Chinese Restaurant – St.HelensWe did have a problem with one of the meals, but this was resolved quickly by the staff and subsequently both meals were very good. As a gesture of goodwill our bill was also adjusted. I would return to clockwork as although quite quiet when we went, it still had a good atmosphere in quirky surroundings and the staff were excellent.
Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreWe enjoyed dinner here so much we returned for breakfast the food quality and service was that good. Spotlessly clean, walls adorned with musical heros to a retro hippy soundtrack. Would heartily recommend the pork belly and the miner's breakfast. Extensive menus, great value for money and super friendly staff. What's not to like.
Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreWent for an ‘early bird’ meal on Friday day 3rd Sept. Food was excellent as was the service. Amazing value for money.

Christakis Aigburth – AigburthLovely as usual
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthTook my daughter who is 11yrs there for tea last night, not only did she LOVE the retro gaming, but the food was awesome too! I’m gluten free and don’t get excited about pizza as it’s usually pants, but here, it was really really good!! The staff were approachable, chilled and super friendly, nothing was too much a bother for them! They even insisted on giving me free fries as the gluten free pizza is smaller than the regular pizzas. My daughter wants to visit Liverpool again, just to visit Doughbar :)
Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentreParty of 4 for late 3pm lunch on Friday Sept 3rd. Starters of Greek Salad, Tahini, Humus and Taramasalata, all served fresh with warm pita bread. When bread basket was empty, more was immediately brought to our table. Main courses of Moussaka, Keftedes (meat balls), Chicken Kebab and Afelia (Pork chunks), were served with nicely cooked chips and rice. Portions were generous and food delicious. Very consistently good quality. Ordered an Australian red wine for £22 per bottle, which again was excellent and which went very well with the food served. None of the 4 of us could manage a desert. After we had declined a 3rd course however, we were given complimentary sweet ‘Baklava’ to try. Not everyone’s ‘cup of tea’, but we enjoyed it. Only one of our party could manage coffee (Latte), but we were then brought a complimentary Greek liquor to sample as a finale, to what was an ‘epic’ but delicious lunch. Staff were efficient, humorous and very welcoming. I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. They really deserve this great review. Can’t wait to go back. Fantastic value on the early evening menu.
