Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreWhat a lovely place staff welcoming service and food excellent recommend to family and friends
Sing Faye – WooltonI booked for my partners 2 girls and myself to go to the cat cafe as a treat for them. I was met with someone who was clearly a recent graduate of the Hitler charm school who barked at me that the kids are not 11. Prior to booking if looked all over their website to find what the age limit was, all it said was “no small children.” In the absence of an actual age limit (it might be there but if it is it’s not obvious) then I figured since we’d been the the cat cafe in Liverpool that should be reason enough to book. Having been met my such an aggressive response to us, we were all stunned. Top tip - maybe take the adult aside and explain why the children can’t go in, when we left the girls were upset as they thought they had done something wrong. The way you explain it is also crucial - the approach was not at all appropriate. A “sorry”and calm explanation would have been better. Really disappointed in this place. They kept my money which they clearly needed as the place was deserted, the amicable answer would have been to repurpose the booking. That aside, the cats missed out as we would have bought drinks etc that all add to the coffers. I think Frau Hitler needs some front of house / customer service training; never forget who your customer is. Off to Liverpool we go next week for take 2.
Jacksons Rescue Cat Cafe – HoylakeFantastic food and service, would definitely visit again
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreLovely relaxed afternoon with the fur babies.
Jacksons Rescue Cat Cafe – HoylakeSpent a lovely hour here enjoying the feline company. Cake delicious, clean and well thought out layout. Good selection of drinks and cake, maybe some soup/toasties?
Jacksons Rescue Cat Cafe – HoylakeI celebrated my birthday with a lunch and it was excellent. The special menu was very extensive with lots of choices I’d have enjoyed. I had boneless chicken wings and a Wagyu cheeseburger…absolutely wonderful and no room for dessert. Service was excellent. Only downside was no IPA my favourite tipple but didn’t spoil a lovely meal.
Master McGraths – SouthportVisited with our friends before going to the theatre. The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly without being “over the top”! We’d never been before but will definitely return when we’re in the area again
Harringtons Bar & Eatery – PrescotPre theatre pizza and salad - absolutely delightful! Perfect pizza, made to order, and delicious, fresh, crisp salad! Great choice too. The service was quick and the staff were really friendly. We returned after the theatre for a couple of their perfectly prepared Bloody Marys! What’s not to love?!
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreHad takeaway gyros from here a couple of years ago and decided to book a table for the daughters 21st. It was midweek so was quiet. We had souvlaki mix platter, gyros, and loaded fries and all were delicious. Afterwards they treat you to a small slice of brownie and cream equally delicious. Well worth a visit.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreWe always come here for special occasions and are never disappointed. Amazing food and lovely service.
Ayuthaya – CrosbyWe booked a booth with views over the dock. We have been coming to What’s since the original opened on the Wirral. The food was disappointing,The food was cold and missing the chili on the burger. Ribs used to be amazing slow cooked and fall of the bone. These ones weren’t the same and a bit tough. Very disappointed with the food as we have been here many times and it’s always been great. I hope it was a one off but will give it a gap before back. Staff nice but the food lacked what we were used to.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreOur first visit to the Dough Bar was for a pre-theatre dinner. Booking was simple, and the staff were very polite and attentive. There was plenty of food and drink options that suited both teenagers and adults. The toilets were clean, and overall, it was excellent value for money.
Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentreLovely food excellent service look after you and with a friendly atmosphere Will be coming again
Goya Bistro – St. HelensFood was excellent as always , service good and friendly .
