K.K Fish and Chips – Liverpool City CentreWhat can I say amazing restaurant staff really friendly food is out of this world, the steak is the best I have ever tasted and the halloumi fingers are to die for. Have never had a bad meal here would highly recommend.
La Parrilla – WaterlooWe did not stay at the hotel but after having a meal it seems we had a very lucky escape - feel sorry for people who may have booked in for a couple of days - I would not go again if someone paid for me - food poor and the service was worse - never again.
The Vincent Hotel – SouthportWow what a wonderful meal we had here the best meal we had in Liverpool . You must try this place. Kataplictica
Bacchus Taverna – Liverpool City CentreHad a Fantastic evening at Lings on Kings. Can highly recommend the special buffet! Every dish was delicious and well prepared. Treated like old friends by the manageress. When the crispy duck and pancakes were served the freshly roasted duck was cut at our table, a very nice touch which we have never seen at a Chinese restaurant before. Towards the end of the evening my Mum accidentally spilled a glass of Red wine and the manageress kindly offered to have the affected top washed that evening to try and make sure that the wine did not stain it, giving her a brand new t-shirt to wear in its place for the rest of the night, and when my Mum collected it the following night it was like new - wonderful example of service going that extra mile. Thank you for giving our family a lovely evening
Lings on Kings – SouthportAte here last night pre show and very impressed. Chilled local bar atmosphere in town, service prompt but not intrusive. We were served in plenty of time for the show yet not rushed. Food excellent we had a starter a pasta dish and a pizza and pudding ( can recommend the tirimasui ) and a beer and the price very reasonable. My friend who has a small appetite even ate 3 courses because she couldnt leave any of it and we didnt even look at the specials board.Would heartily reccommend if you are in this area of town or even if you're not.
The Quarter – Liverpool City CentreEnjoyed a meal with friends . for 70 th Birthday of a friend. Good meals and service, made a very good time for us all. See you all soon Lily

Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonMe and my wife have been going to the Ying Wah for quite a few years and can honestly say we love the food, and have a good talk to all the Staff who are well educated in what they are serving. Even helping out with our kids who suffer with peanut allergies. Thanks for all you do Ying Wah.
Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonThe place is dirty, staff were a bit dim and untidy looking. cutlery was dirty, floor was dirty. Food was close to below average. We wont be returning!
New York Cut Steakhouse & Cocktail Bar – Liverpool City CentreFourteen of us visited on Saturday for a family birthday.Nothing was too much trouble - even with the odd fussy eater! - and the fact that a couple of guests had to leave early did not cause any problems to the attentive staff as they were served separately.Whether we asked for drinks or extras to the meal, they were brought immediately and always with a smile and the young staff, one male one female were a delight, coping with a busy restaurant with smiles on their faces. We have been visiting this restaurant for many years and have never had a bad experience, but it was noticeable that the people who had not been there before were already planning to come back again soon and were sorry they had never visited before They even called a taxi for us at the end of the night and for what we ate and drank, the bill was very reasonable.Give it t a try!
Great Wall Restaurant – ChildwallWe visited this restaurant on 1st march 2014 we were greeted by friendly staff and were made to feel welcome. The food was delicious, it made our trip from Blackpool well worth while. We will definitely be bac.k
Oriental Delight – SouthportI have been to the Blue Anchor pub for many special occasions over the years and have found it to be a lovely pub. Food good but when me and my family went for my 12 year old birthday meal I ordered a Vegatarian curry and was served a meat curry. When I told staff they said the chef must of got them mixed up as the two bags looked the same and they would give me the veg curry. A few mins later the waitress presented me with a bowl of veg curry, bearing in mind I had no plate in front of me as I returned my plate. So I asked for a refund. I was not happy and my family want be going back again .
Blue Anchor Inn – AintreePopped in tonight for the early bird menu £9.95 and what a delight. I had pate served on crostini with sweet jam and a little salad and followed with the suckling pig which was served with mash and a wonderful sauce, my companion had smoked fishcake with a small salad and then slow braised beef in rich sauce. all served with a medley of several veggies.lovely food, friendly staff and I recognised the amiable owner from a previous Formby restaurant and at the price really splendid value. The a la carte menu is not massive but offers differing taste sensations, cracking value and I hope a return visit soon. Well recommended
Bistro Moulin – FormbyI went yesterday to Bacchus Taverna with an old friend. We both had Kleftiko (lamb with rice and potatoes) and it was so tender it melt in the mouth!!!! Fantastic meal, lovely atmosphere, beautiful traditional Greek songs (not too loud, just loud enough to hear the music and the conversation with my friend), lovely, lovely, lovely evening!!!!! Thank you, I will be coming again!!!!
