Great food but service not so good. Very rushed - asked to order dessert when still eating mains then given bill with dessert and asked 3 times through eating dessert and drinking coffee how we wanted to pay!
Harringtons Bar & Eatery – PrescotAbsolutely fantastic from start to finish! The lactose free elements of the menu were absolutely amazing!
Harringtons Bar & Eatery – PrescotFood was delicious. Especially loved the pad kratiem prik Thai with duck. The pad grapao was lovely, although it wasn’t the 3 chillis spicy as it usually is when we get it, we enjoyed it. Portion size was just right. Visited previous with my sister and wouldn’t have recommended as multiple staff members standing at the bar chatting, constantly watching us eat yet not providing service when required. Staff this time were great, very hard working and attentive. Couldn’t fault them.
Ayuthaya – CrosbyGreat scouse, great staff, great atmosphere - Just Great!
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreExcellent food and plenty of it. Brilliant service and very pleasant staff with a great atmosphere, great experience all round. If you haven’t been yet then you’re missing out.
The Wargrave Hacienda – St. HelensGood meal good service nice place.
Master McGraths – SouthportHad a great meal at Houghwood yesterday lunchtime, with family members. Food was lovely & the service was above average. Well recommended!
Houghwood Spikes Bar and Restaurant – St.HelensBooked a midweek meal to celebrate my sons birthday. The restaurant was welcoming. The person that looked after us was friendly and helpful. The menu had lots of options to suit and the food was lovely. Generous portions, so much so we took some food home! I would definately recommend eating here and we will be going again.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreAbsolutely 100% first class, definitely go again. Thumbs up from me :)
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreLove ma edgertons lovely food service and atmosphere what more can you ask for. And very reasonably priced
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreWent for a hen party that I organised on 5 August. Cost £37.50/pp for table and 3 course meal. Was supposed to be live act with disco later. Live act was a guy singing along to the actual tracks. Heard better in the local pub as karaoke. Meal was terrible. Hard broccoli, and very hard risotto. Club was quite empty and not very appealing. Certainly not worth paying that price for. We danced and made the most of it, but was very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend this for any type of celebration, which is a shame because the staff were pleasant.
Blundell Street Supper Club – Liverpool City CentreWe had a table for twenty here for a 70th birthday. I booked over the phone with Charlotte who couldn't have been more helpful asking about our requirements and saying we could bring our own cake and balloons in. It was excellent from beginning to end, the food was delicious and the staff serving and behind the bar were all brilliant. Would highly recommend.
