We went last night (Sat Aug 6th) for my Birthday for the first time, and we loved it! Great food, Great Price and lovely staff and we even got a free drink, so after a great night we will be sure to go again soon.

Ella Grill – BirkenheadSurfers has new owners and we went last night using a groupon deal whereby the food we purchased was to the value of £36 but obviously we paid less. Husband had chicken goujons to start which were ok but we then had the 'Hot Rock' main and it can only be described as totally inadequate! It was supposed to be for two people but consisted of one chicken breast, two and a half 'bitty' scallops, three king prawns, approx 3ozs of frying steak and two asparagus spears! I then had malteser profiteroles for dessert, they were chronic...two profiteroles filled with canned squirty cream! I can honestly say that if we had had to pay the full price we would have refused....extremely poor value and we certainly will not be returning
Astoria – West KirbyI went to Chaba Chaba 2 weeks ago - This simply is the best Thai restaurant I have eaten in in the UK. When we went in it was packed but we were given a table near the bar. The only one. Manager was apologetic but we were fine there and enjoyed ourselves. The food was amazing! it was well cooked and very very tasty. The service was brilliant! staff friendly and quick. Defo one to go to and I know I will be going back there! looking forward to eating the crying tiger again! and the sea bass.. mmmmm
Chaba Chaba Thai Restaurant – Mossley HillFirst time here today and we had a delicious meal full of flavour and very tasty, staff were excellent very professional, it is expensive but you don't mind paying for quality. Will certainly return for more. Thanks Jay
Chaophraya – Liverpool City CentreI had booked the surfers restaurant through a voucher site. Before going I had read up on the reviews and was quite excited about the concept. That was until we arrived!!. The place was empty not a soul in sight. Fair enough it was a Monday evening. Still quite daunting. The staff were friendly and very attentive but the food was shocking!! The starters were ok to be fair. Homemade pate was nice. The main on the other hand was not. With the voucher we got the sharing buddy system where you cook your own food on a hot rock. Advertised was chicken, fillet steak, king prawns and scallops. There was no scollops, the fillet steak looked like off cuts which wen u put on the hot rock stuck as they were that small and you could not get them off. There was not enough food at all. We ordered dessert of profiteroles with bot chocolate and maltesers sauce. Well that was a joke. It was two stale profiteroles squishy cream from a can. And no sign of malteser. This was a very disappointing experience and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. If I had to pay full price I would not have been happy at all!!!
Astoria – West KirbyTravelled from Leeds today for a day by the sea and had lunch at Gusto! My Pollo Condito in foccacia was gently warmed and filled with tender, well cooked chicken. The anchovy mayonnaise was a delicate flavour and the lettuce was crisp and fresh. Served with an espresso macchiato by attentive staff there was change from £7. Fantastic value and lovely to hear fluent Italian being spoken! Check it out - you won't be disappointed.
Gusto Trattoria – SouthportMy partner and I had dinner at the Clove & Hitch on Friday 29th July , The hospitality and the food were fantastic, Joe and his team are very attentive and really made sure your dining experience was a positive one. Its a very clear recommendation from us. Thanks Joe to you and your team for a great night Guy Grant Ps- Just be careful with the Clove Hitch Burger, its an amazing meal but I recommend you have an empty stomach on arrival as you may not be able to eat it all !! (as I clearly couldn't)
The Clove Hitch Bistro and Bar – Liverpool City Centrenot good at all, staff unpleasant, very slow and wait for ages to be served! would not recommend.
Caffe Roma – St.HelensTable for 2 this coming Saturday 8.30 pm hear really fantastic things about the place and would like very much to have some food their me and the wife pls let me know thanks your faithfully lee dunne
Que Pasa Cantina – AigburthVery disappointed with Sunday Carvery yesterday 31st July. Had high hopes but these were sadly dashed. Being very charitable I would say the meal was barely mediocre and the service slow and sullen. It could not be because it was busy. It definitely was not. Perhaps everyone else knew something we didn't . Probably the worst Sunday lunch I have ever had. Will not be going back and will not be recommending it to friends.
Sheldrakes – HeswallRetro decor, melt in your mouth salmon and mouth watering lamb. Service spot on, and departed with regret - cant wait to go back.
Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill @ Hotel Indigo Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreFrom the moment I phoned to book a table to when we left at the end of the evening, the service we received was excellent.. The food was equal to the service. Definitely going again
Lings on Kings – SouthportGreat vegetarian options. Good value for money. My mum enjoyed her meat dishes too. And the staff are very friendly
Lings on Kings – SouthportPlease try this restaurant out they are the nicest people in Liverpool who own it, and there names are Jimmy and Amanda. Loved by us, and service with a smile Try it out Deliveries are delivered warm too
Chung Lok Chinese Restaurant – BootleWe went there a few weeks ago for lunch and I was really impressed. Love Asian food and was best I have had in ages. The vietnamese coffee was to die for and even had a dessert which i never do in Asian restaurants. Highly recommended and we are booked back in for dinner next week!
Host – Liverpool City CentreI live in Liverpool and am a big Chinese fan, i have been to most restaurants in Liverpool. I was invited to Lings and have to say that they are the best i have ever tried. Everyone raves about the duck and ribs which are outstanding but every course i had was sensational. Ling singing made the night even better, recommend to anyone who has even a passing interest in oriental cuisine.
Lings on Kings – SouthportHad a visit on Tuesday for my birthday. Well, what can I say.... the meal was fantastic, service out of this world, lovely restaurant, Had lobster for the first time ever, and it was beautiful. Would very highly recommend to anyone who wants a perfect meal. Can't wait to eat here again.
Forge Brasserie – SouthportBistrot Verite for me is the best restaurant in the area, the anticipation of the menu is enough to set my tastebuds drooling. The variety is so tempting I usually have great trouble deciding on my choice,. The last time I had pasta which was coated with a most delicious sauce with large chunks of smoked haddock stirred through it. I was so full but could not resist a desert and decided to go for Rum Baba which was absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to visit again. Sandra Gee
