Went along with a large group in early April 08. I agree with the verdict of great food - but from a fairly limited menu. Started with the Chicken Salad (which had me reaching for the water; that's some sauce on it!) followed by medium rare steak. Both excellent. Others had fishcake to start with salmon, also very recommended. Finished with cheesecake, which was a bit of a let-down as although made on the premises, had no real substance. The chairs are low, but comfortable enough you don't notice. On the downside, it's amazingly loud and conversation is out of the question without yelling straight into ears. I needed to make a call, but there was no chance inside, so I tried a staircase and was told it was staff only and got shoved out into the smoking area, where it was raining heavily. The queueing for the club area downstairs made it almost impossible to get back in and you can't take a phone and stand in the lobby. It's also very dark and there's only one gents cubicle for the entire restaurant area. Great grub and the crianza and service was top notch too. But they need to work on the 'atmosphere' - maybe I'm getting old, but spending two hours yelling at my mates over dinner isn't my cup of tea.
