107 Dining Room – HeswallLovely place to eat if you like Italian food you will love it here, traditional Italian food, you don't realise you have not tasted REAL Italian food until you have been here you can taste the difference in every bite, price was quite good i have been cheaper places but the extra taste is worth it, the staff where lovely except one guy was a little rude and was not very welcoming.
Casa Italia – Liverpool City CentreI love Bistro Jacques. Every time we visit we are treated to great service and fantastic food. The menu changes every month so you never get bored with the same things. The food is fabulous and so inexpensive! It really is a hidden gem of a place and must be visited by anyone that loves great food and pleasant surroundings. The wine is great to. A great place to go for the pre-theatre menu mid-week. Well done Bistro Jacques.
Bistro Jacques – Liverpool City CentreMy husband and i have been to tapas tapas twice in six weeks. It was recommended to us by my daughter, who goes frequently on a girlie night with all her friends. Can? wait to go back again. it is F.A.B
Tapas Tapas – WaterlooThis place has become pretty much my favourite place to go for lunch following morning lectures this year, and I'm pretty miffed I didn't discover it earlier. Service is good, the food is great (and it would seem not to be packed with preservatives, either) and they do free green tea as well. Average price for a course is around 4 quid 50, and that'll keep you full for a good few hours, if not more. Definitely worth a visit.
Tokyou – Liverpool City CentreFantastic food, fantastic service. What more could you want.
Chilli Banana – AigburthThe food is really mind-blowing especially the crispy chilli beef. They also do great buffets on Sundays only.
New Peking Duck – WavertreeI cannot believe that I've spent several years in Liverpool without finding The Egg. It's the sort of place I've always been looking for. Good cheap food, laid back, a wonderful ambience - definitely one-of-a-kind. Highly recommended.
The Egg Vegetarian Restaurant and Cafe – Liverpool City CentreThis is a really good Chinese to eat in. The staff are always smiling, even in the early hours of the morning. Thanks Jimmy
China City – Liverpool City CentreThe food at Chilli Banana is excellent. I'm a regular diner here and I especially enjoy the stir fry vegetables- simple but mouth wateringly delicious. And the Chicken Gai Pad Met Mammuang is a beautiful blend of spices. Subtle but tasty. All high quality ingredients. The pricing is a bit random on the menu. It's on the pricy side for what you get but the food is so good it's worth it somehow! The fish seems relatively cheap, especially king prawns, but the soups are pricey. The service is generally very good, although we've had some less good moments, wrong food delivered a couple of times. We were also charged the full price for take-away once rather than the take away prices. Probably just a mistake but we didn't realise till we got home. It's definitely worth a visit.
Chilli Banana – AigburthFantastic Fantastic Fantastic! Can't wait to go again...
Delifonseca – Liverpool City CentreWell! What can I say that hasn't been said already??!! This place is FABULOUS!! Have been 3 times now and can't wait til my next visit. The food is excellent - so much choice - my aim is to try everything!! Have been to La Tasca in Liverpool and it doesn't compare at all - Tapas Tapas is in a different (superior)league. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the ambience is perfect. If you haven't been - GO!! What are you waiting for??
Tapas Tapas – WaterlooGreat atmosphere - very friendly people,. Food fantastic, without being pretentious. Very enjoyable evening.
Puschka – Liverpool City CentreI like it here, have visited twice and the first time had pasta and it was delicious i then discovered i cant eat wheat or dairy so thought the place would be of limits ,but went back and they made me a fab salad and caramelised fruit for dessert, fab try it its lovely.
Gusto Trattoria – SouthportThis is the best place to eat in Liverpool. i suffer with allergies gluten, dairy and wheat and the menu tells you what? in there food to save illness later, I have eaten there lots of times but i celebrated my 40th birthday there with friends it was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, the food was delicious and i would recommend it whole heartedly try it you wont regret it! ps there wine list is pretty good too, not just the average bottle of rubbish stowells.
La Tasca – Liverpool City CentreLunches are good, ambience great-get a window table and look across over into Wales! Dinners are brilliant, but tend to be quite noisy Food is brilliant, inventive and tasty Been twic alrady - love the place!
Marsh Cat Restaurant – HeswallI had one of the best Indians meals here and now regularly go back for more. Service was very good as we were regularly looked after and given a drink on the house by the owner Bari. Highly recommended for the quality of the food all made with fresh ingredients. Will defo go back again soon.
Indira Tandoori Restaurant – HoylakeThe chowder was excellent and the ribs were unbelievably tender. My partner had nachos and a vegetarian (sorry can't remember which one) both of which she enjoyed. The voucher we printed for free wine was very good value. My only complaint was that despite booking we were sat in a smokey and noisy area of the bar and not the restaurant, I wasn't happy since my partner was pregnant, but they were full and I was hungry. I think they should have asked during the booking if it was smoking or non-smoking. I felt we were eating restaurant food in a pub. will still go back though as the food really is very good and next time I will make sure i get a non-smoking table upstairs!
