Eat here on Saturday night after it being recommended to us. It was excellent! Small selection (as Gordon Ramsay recommends!) and all our choices were fabulous! The service was also first class and unobtrusive - just the right amount of time between courses. My partner found the main course slightly too small and he was still a bit hungry afterwards.... Not a particularly big eater so take this on board Pauls Place! But he loved what he got and it did encourage us to have a pudding which was also delicious. A little South Liverpool Gem costing about £100 for 3 courses for 3 people.

Buy one get one free policy very good value for money. Staff very polite. We go their at least once or twice a week. Restaurant always full. Steak and eggs has got to be tried'

This is easily THE best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten at. The food is just superb and gets better all the time. The staff are warm and friendly and service is second to none. It is extremely family friendly. The decor and surroundings are warm and authentic. A lot of attention to detail has been paid. Can't wait to go back which we are on Sunday for Father's Day!!

Come on you lot! Visit a proper Indian eatery, not a rubbish one. This is our second visit, and certainly not the last! David and his staff are efficient , friendly and helpful. The food's great. He was formerly at the Raja in London I did feel sad for the 2 young girls who walked in and asked if they did chicken madras-then pulled a face before leaving- Kerala is a nice, subtler taste than all the rest -do yourself a favour-drop in and try it-you won't be sorry!

The food is tasty and well priced. The staff area very polite and helpful. It has a very comfortable atmosphere. I worked there about 2.5 years ago and really enjoyed working looking after the customers,good rapport with staff and the manager is a down-to-earth guy and looks after his staff.

Found this place on sugarvine and thought we would give it a try when looking for somewhere to go for my mums birthday. So glad we did...Choices of starters were yum yum yum, had the cod with peas and bacon as a main which was delicious and we all ordered a dessert and because an extra one just so we knew what it tasted like - The Eton Mess was lip smackingly tasty. Would highly recommend this restaurant as a place to eat.

Had a fabulous time at this restaurant. The staff could not be friendlier and nothing is too much trouble. I wanted a dish that was not on the menu and they were only too happy to accommodate. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends and we will almost certainly return in the near future.

great place with lovely staff especially the owners and always have a lovely time. food excellent and always something interesting on the menu. thoroughly recommend it as do all the members of my family - of all ages.

If you are looking for a good standard of food at lunchtime give the set lunch menu at Ego a try. You can get 3 courses for £9.50 and I don't know anywhere else in Liverpool where you can get 3 courses at such a good standard for such a good price. The restaurant is very clean and the kitchen can be viewed from the dining area. The service we received was excellent. We will return!

We enjoyed a lovely meal at Piazza Italia after finding it on Sugarvine. The food was great, the staff were warm,friendly and very hospitable. The ambience of the restaurant was great and 3 courses for £12.90 was excellent value. Plenty of wines to choose from to accompany your meal. We'd highly recommend dining at this lovely family run restaurant.

Love this place am a regular now! Small menu, but beautifully cooked Staff very attentive and make you feel nothing is too much trouble and its on my doorstep Lunches are also extremely good!

Ok it was £50 odd for 2 diners but everything else was fantastic. Grade A place !!!

I am an avid follower of Greek restaurants and found this one to be excellent. The food is fresh and tasty. You are made to feel very welcome and they are very accommodating towards children. The portions are large and I have taken friends who have all enjoyed it.

Kimos is the number one student eatery! the menu is great and provides a lot more than any of the on campus food joints that Liverpool Uni has to offer! after three years at kimos, the food has been consistently good! the club sandwiches are without a doubt the best in town!

This restaurant is just fab the food is lovely an the service is dead good. It was a dead good night on bethans b-day an it was hilarious. Nicolas is the best restaurant in Liverpool by far! Every1 should go there

I love this restaurant! FANTASTIC!

To be totally honest, we had heard mixed reviews. Decided to try for ourselves and am so glad we did. Really couldn't fault a thing. Food and atmosphere fantastic, cost very reasonable and the staff were lovely. Our waiter was as mad as a box of frogs in the nicest possible way, particularly when we ordered a cheese board and a pair of blue rubber gloves became involved!! Cannot rate this place highly enough and right on the doorstep. Going again next week.
