The food was simply superb. I highly recommend the venison which was out of this world. The service was also excellent.

The food was simply superb. I highly recommend the venison which was out of this world. The service was also excellent.
The London Carriage Works – Liverpool City CentreLovely food, classy decor, attentive staff. Always seems popular. More expensive than most other Indian restaurants I have been to though!
Zeera Tandoori – HeswallWent for New Years Eve just gone and it was fabulous. Pre-booked a table and had our own waiter service - didn't even have to get up out of your seat and you can imagine how big the queues at the bar were! Rose Petals fell down at 12, it was a fabulous atmosphere and would definitely recommend it.
Alma De Cuba – Liverpool City Centrethe wife and I had an excellent meal, seafood to die for!!! Definitely authentic Italian cuisine.
Enzo’s Piazza Italia – MoretonThis place is so good my boyfriend and I have been 3 times in the last month! Portions are very big, but get a starter anyway just for the taste - you can always take your leftovers home in a Tupperware box. (you can ask without embarrassment) Service was great also and with a big smile too. No pretence or pomp just a very nice place to be. 10 out 10.
Tokyou – Liverpool City CentreNot a bad place, really liked it in there staff are brilliant!
Pumphouse – Liverpool City CentreGreat atmosphere, food superb, excellent service. Guaranteed a good night especially party bookings. Birthday parties go down great. Ming will look after you. Highly recommended.
New China City – SouthportI have visited La Vina with my family and friends and have taken business clients here from all over the UK and from around the World. My most recent visit was 2 weeks ago and I cant praise this place enough. Liverpool has come a long way and what I like most of all is competition and difference. La Vina always delivers in every detail it has a truly Spanish feel however you don? have to wait till "Manyana" the service is excellent.
La Vina – Liverpool City CentreYoooooooooooo! d chung ku is d bomb!! mmm d egg fried rice jus sizzled away in my mouth!!!
Chung Ku – ChildwallI recently entertained clients at Crompton? Restaurant @ The Adelphi, Liverpool. In doing so I feel I have found a "Hidden Gem" in Liverpool? dining experience. There is both A La Carte and Table d'Hote Menu available. My guests decided to opt for the Table d'Hote 3 Course Menu and at £16.95 per person this was exceptional value for money. Service was "slick" and welcoming and we had the chance to discuss our business arrangements in complete privacy. After speaking with the Manager there, John O?rien explained that Crompton? was in his eyes a local establishment just waiting to be explored. On my insistence we managed to speak with the Head Chef, David Jackson. He is a young man with some different and exciting ideas of ?he Dining Experience". Well recommended and a place more locals should enjoy
Britannia Adelphi Hotel – Liverpool City CentreThis is the real deal, a great trattoria atmosphere in the authentic Italian style. It was packed when I visited, and therefore very noisy. But that apart, I could have been in Bologna or Rome. My family loved it too. Highly recommended. Damn, now everyone will go!
Il Forno – Liverpool City CentreGreat place for all to eat all ages catered for. Have been numerous times. Always 100%
Toby Carvery – FormbyAs a visitor to Liverpool, I went here on a recommendation and enjoyed an excellent evening (taking advantage of the Tuesday special, ?excellent value). Service was friendly and prompt but not intrusive. Food was nicely presented and cooked as I like it. The house wine was very acceptable. Thank you
Bistro Jacques – Liverpool City CentreOk done the rounds in Liverpool City now. This place has it, but hey so do many others. Had a good night out with a group of guys & girls, will I return yes please. But there is a lot to see & do in the city.
Alma De Cuba – Liverpool City CentreTalk about serendipity!! Failing to get a table at our favourite places on a night out we came across this North African/South Med inspired eatery quite by chance on our way to The Academy. Not normally walking down Mount Pleasant, we'd always missed its charms. All I can say is we can't wait to go back. Food was great, huge portions and a great atmosphere. And cheap. We were the oldest in there by far (at the ripe old age of 50) and it took me right back to my own student days. Wonderful!!!
Kimos – Liverpool City CentreWe have eaten here on several occasions. It is a nice local restaurant. The food is always of good quality. They offer a 10% discount if you order before 7pm although what is not very clear is that this is on cash orders only and you are only told when you query the bill! The only other let down is the seating arrangements - fine if you are in a group but not some friendly if there are just two of you! Would however not let this put you off as we have gone back on several occasions
Retsina Greek Restaurant – West DerbyI agree with the previous writer. It seems to me that this is the cleanest, friendly Greek restaurant in town. The food is very good and I regard this place as a very 'safe bet'
Zorbas – Liverpool City CentreI have been to many Indian restaurants in Liverpool and the royal is by far the best. The curries are amazing especially the jalfrezi. The staff are very friendly and easy to get along with and the price is amazingly cheap compare to other restaurants as the quality of food is the best i have had in the city. If you?e looking to go to a curry house, look no further than the Royal!!!
