Uni Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreNot the finest surroundings but certainly the best Chinese restaurant in Merseyside. Mr Chan is a perfect host and creates delicious dishes at a reasonable price. Probably the reason there are so many Thank You cards above the bar!
Mr Chans – St.HelensMy partner and I visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening. food excellent service excellent. Definitely go again.
Gulshan – AigburthFood was really nice but put off by the waiters hovering around whilst we were trying to have a romantic meal.
Master Chef Tandoori Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreWhen I was told we were eating in a French restaurant, I must admit I had my hesitations but as soon as we walked through the door we knew it would be a completely different experience. From the canopies to the drinks service, the atmosphere ensured your mood was as chilled as the restaurant intended it to be. With a fine selection of dishes to choose from, or for the more adventurous a Gourmet menu which included a number of smaller sized dishes ensuring the customer could sample a variety of dishes that infused different ingredients and different styles of cooking but consistently delivered an outstanding taste. The menu really did highlight the phrase 'value for money' as you really did get back what you were paying for. I found the staff very attentive and discreetly picked up on any requests by customers, as my friend and I experienced it for ourselves. I wouldn? like to consistently revisit this restaurant as it takes the essence away from it being a treat, a special occasion but more directly, something to look forward to. I hope that other people will visit the restaurant in hope of being surprised, relaxed and impressed. Thank you!
Fraiche Restaurant – OxtonExcellent service & food
A Passage To India – Liverpool City CentreAfter many recommendations a party of six of us visited the Manor last night. We found the atmosphere very welcoming indeed and the staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. As for the food,it was outstanding in quality and quantity and the cost would knock most restaurants into a cocked hat. We will definitely be paying many more visits. PS lamb shank is amazing.
The Manor – GreasbyMy family and I have been coming to this restaurant for many ,many years and we highly recommend it. Lovely food, great staff and very friendly atmosphere. See you soon xx Kelly`s xx
Taj Mahal – WaterlooMy family and I celebrated my mother's birthday here and we had a great time when the meal finished the birthday cake was brought out accompanied by a Birthday song playing in the background. The waiter then took a photo of my mother and presented it with a birthday card - very nice gesture indeed I would recommend this restaurant because I was a very satisfied customer and would return - The food was delicious!!!!
Lux Garden Restaurant – AintreeMy Ego experience was very enjoyable and highly recommened
Ego Mediterranean Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreTry to get a table on the raised bit behind the glass sculptures. You get your own wine and food waiter who are both knowledgeable. Food was fantastic with mini courses arriving at no extra cost. Superb night.
The London Carriage Works – Liverpool City CentreThe food was excellent - delicious pasta and home made pizza. It was also cheap. We had gone intending to use a voucher we had which entitled us to 2 courses for £10, but quickly realised the menu prices were cheaper than this anyway. However, the menu is boring - bog standard pasta and pizza with only one or two interesting dishes. Apparently there is a specials board, but as none of the waiters told us about this, I have no idea what was on it. The service was very poor - one waitress was particularly rude - suggesting 3 times we hadn't booked, when actually we had and the restaurant was less than half full anyway. They were also unable to provide us with wine glasses and we therefore had to drink our wine out of tumblers. I'm no wine expert, but there's a reason people don't drink it out of a cheap tumbler - because it spoils the taste. It was also not properly chilled. This restaurant could be fantastic - they clearly know how to cook, and if they just dimmed the lighting, the ambiance would be nice too - relaxed and friendly. Overall, though, it needs some work.
The Quarter – Liverpool City Centrethe food is fresh and really tasty. With a lovely warm atmosphere and good looking spanish waiters. definitely worth a visit.
La Vina – Liverpool City CentreMy family and I went for our Christmas dinner and were very impressed. The place was heaving but the food and service (5 courses) was the best I've had on our annual Christmas lunch out. We thoroughly enjoyed it and have been back several times since for meals and have not been disappointed. Thumbs up to Antonellis - keep up the good work*****
