Can’t fault this place in any way, one of my favourite places to go in northern quarter! Portions are large and tasty and cheap which is so rare these days. Service is always top notch too.

Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreGreat menu choices, food, service, staff and atmosphere. The only complaint was the draft from the door every time someone came in as we were directly opposite the entrance and my mum is 85 so really feels the cold. We didn’t ask to move as it was very busy with people being turned away as it was Christmas time. We will definitely be back, we’ll just sit somewhere else next time.
The Rising Moon – Hyde19/12/23 With my bestie Carmel for lunch. Had Steak, mushroom & cheese hot sandwich. Very tasty, lots of filling, lovely and hot. Great atmosphere, staff and service as always 5 stars off us. See u again soon. Thankyou
The Rising Moon – HydeLovely meal , food cooked to my liking and instructions. Great service . Ambience of the establishment was lovely . Well worth a visit
The Rising Moon – Hyde5 Stars. Such a fantastic afternoon tea. Cakes were delish. A really nice place to visit. I really recommend.
That Secret Ingredient – WiganReally good food, amazing service and good vegan options. Staff are very knowledgable about ingredients.
Titos Asian Grill Indian – PrestwichVisited 3 times and the food and value wach time is 5 star. Obviously the jerk chicken, but the lamb chops and mac cheese are must haves.
The Drop Bar Cafe Restaurant – ChorltonWe arrived here for the pre theatre meal it was very busy and looked like a great atmosphere unfortunately that was the highlight of the meal. The food was poor the service was terrible although I don’t blame the serving staff as there wasn’t enough staff. We received our starter long before our drinks came the starter like the main was below par we ordered a coffee and dessert at the end the coffee took over 25mins to arrive and the dessert never did although they did put it on the bill. We will never return
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreWe went for a meal before a show. The pre theatre menu is excellent value and very decent size portions. The staff were great particularly the man( sorry didn't get his name) who was very friendly and welcoming. It was fully booked so make sure you book beforehand. Recommended.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreWent for lunch with my friend, the food and service were faultless, we both had pizza. which were very generous. will be visiting again
Cafe Italia – BoltonFabulous food. The staff were friendly lovely atmosphere. Will definitely return next time we are in Manchester.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreAbsolutely amazing place! Came yesterday with a table of 7 for our works Christmas do. We was the last booking that day but when we first entered it was very busy, but still we was serviced with a smile, all cocktails made with such a high standard. Food for all 7 people was made perfectly and not 1 mistake made or order wrong. I had a quesidilla and rice and 2 cocktails and spent £25.75. I couldn't recommend this place more!
La Sentidos Loca – WiganOur family of 5 recently had Sunday lunch at The Rising Moon on the 17/12/23, with some opting for the beef dinner and others chicken. This was our second visit within the space of 6 weeks. What can I say besides the fact we were not disappointed on this latest visit, with all of our meals served hot and really scrumptious! The beef was lovely and tender and so was the chicken, lovely mashed and fluffy roast potatoes and vegetables cooked to perfection. The gravy was delicious too! We could not fault anything, from the table and bar service, the food and that the meals are exceptionally good value for money. I have eaten quite a few Sunday lunches in local eateries within Greater Manchester and can say without a doubt that the lunches served at The Rising Moon are the best, I am more than happy to submit this review and will definitely be going again soon.
The Rising Moon – HydeGreat food. Lovely decor. 4th visit. Thoroughly enjoy the food. Great selection and quality of drinks. Would highly recommend !
L’Aquila Prestwich – PrestwichBeen here lots of times, this latest visit was with a large party of family for a birthday celebration. Fabulous Sunday Roast Pick n Mix really enjoyed by everybody followed by tasty desserts. Friendly and hospitable service as always. A gem of a place
Crowded House – BuryGreat food and service as it always is, Absolutely loved the candy cane martinis, they was delicious.
La Sentidos Loca – WiganOn arrival, the table wasn't ready for the time we'd booked. There was still food on the floor under the table from the previous customers. Service was very slow , we had to remind or ask about the status for food and drinks at the bar 3 times. The last round was completely forgotten and the obligatory £30 deposit was not automatically deducted from the final bill. The food was ok though. (Only ok, not amazing)
