Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreThe best curry in Manchester with the most attentive and considerate staff. Cannot wait to go back soon :-)
Arnero – Manchester City CentreWe chose the soup of the day as our starter as that is usually a safe option for my partner who is quite particular about food. The roasted tomato and red pepper soup sounded delicious, but my partner found he was unable to eat it owing to the presence of chillies which he dislikes. We were not told about this when we ordered it, and then the waitress said she didn’t know about it. Surely she should have been instructed as normally anything containing hot chillies is indicated in some way to the customer. Quite a lot of people don’t like them, and my partner had already indicated to the waitress that he wouldn’t be interested in the chef’s special Burmese curry because he disliked spicy food. Had the waitress known about chillies in the soup, she could have warned him and prevented the hiccup. Other than this, we enjoyed the meal and the dining experience with the friendly waitresses!

Anatolian Grill – PrestwichWe were visiting our son and chose the Crowded House to eat because of the reviews and the ability to walk there. The food was divine and the service was fantastic. We will definitely return! Unfortunately, my son had a very strange ‘turn’, similar to a fit at the end of our meal. The owner immediately came over and offered him a place to lie down upstairs, which he readily accepted. Not only the staff, but other regular visitors to the restaurant were so kind and helpful. I cannot thank them enough and look forward to returning. Thank you again Claire O’Toole
