As a South African, it was good to enjoy some home delights. The service was excellent and the restaurant had a great vibe. The malva pudding tasted of home and was the best way to end the night

Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreAmazing food and cosy atmosphere
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreReally lovely staff and great food. Will be back!
Amma’s Canteen – ChorltonBooked last minute before a show and were so glad we got in. Great atmosphere as was show night. I only had a pizza, it was cooked to perfection, lightly fire and was amazing. They gave us a set menu without asking, if you just ask to swap as we only wanted 1 course. They only complaint I have was the £12 for a glass of rose, that just doesn't sit right with me, I even called to check we hadn't been charged for a bottle!!!
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreBooked for a 30th meal for a friend and so glad we chose here it was a Beautiful atmosphere, amazing food, the staff were very polite and helpful, I can’t recommend enough, I will definitely be back.
L’Aquila Prestwich – PrestwichStaff were friendly .. food was ok , the order was completely wrong
The Drop Bar Cafe Restaurant – ChorltonThis is our third time to visit this restaurant. The staff are so friendly and the food is delicious. However, the only disappointment is the cold temperature inside. Previously we had a table at the back of the restaurant and ended up eating with our coats and scarves on. On this occasion we asked for a table at the front of the building but each time the front door opened, in came the cold! Please can the restaurant sort out their heating because it's such a shame that this alone would make us hesitate going back there until the weather gets warmer. Also thought the cost of a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc at £24.95 was a little expensive as it wasn't a superior wine.
Gnammy Italy – StockportThe best meal out! Great atmosphere, food and service. Definitely going back!
Chakalaka – Manchester City Centre5 of us dined her before seeing a show at the theatre and from arriving to leaving everything was perfect. Lovely staff and the meals were all amazing. Will definitely be visiting again in the near future and would highly recommend.

The Rising Moon – HydeHad a booking for 8 of us last night although we did have to wait a while the food definitely made up for it, Overall I would really recommend this restaurant to others the food was great and staff were polite! P.s bit stingy on the spuds lol!
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreMade a reservation for after the theatre matinee. Excellent food…hot and tasty. Staff were very pleasant and the restaurant was busy which is a good sign. Thank you for a lovely end to our afternoon.

Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreThis was my first time and it didn’t disappoint. The food was really tasty and the value for money was great. Definitely book a table as they were pretty busy, which isn’t surprising.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreFood was amazing and fresh! Staff were really friendly and helpful too
The Drop Bar Cafe Restaurant – ChorltonNot local to Didsbury and had looked for somewhere online, to meet a friend for a catch-up, recently - we couldn’t have been happier that we found The Art of Tea. Everything that is perfect about good local businesses and every reason to support them. The welcome was warm and even early in the morning the atmosphere was inviting, relaxed and friendly. Our breakfast coffee turned into brunch and more teas, and 3 hours later we finally freed up our table. Food and drink were fabulous, staff were attentive, chatty, accommodating and patient! It turned a casual coffee into a really enjoyable occasion; thank you.
The Art of Tea – DidsburyPleased with the foodin general , my Wife being from Inida and her Mother from South India we were really looking forward to it. Restaurant itself nice ambience and very fast service. We had the Vada followed by a Masala Dosa, the vada to be honest were a bit solid and "doughy" but OK and the Sambar tasted just like my wifes although we did expect more indian vegetables like yard long beans, bhindi (okra) in it. Spices perfect, I jokingly accused them of stealing her recipe! The Dosa was lovely particularly enjoyed the coconut chutney. It was after leaving and driving home that we began discussing the overall evening and came to the following conclusions...good but Vada need attention and on reflection quite overpriced for what it is, We know how cheap it is to make those dishes and £18.30 each for 4 rather small and hard Vada and a Masala Dosa is frankly way, way over the top. That and £4.65 for a 330ml beer??? On top of that a 10% service charge I paid £50.27 for what were 2 street food snacks each and a small beer each. We were very enthusiastic at firstbecause we had not eaten Keralan food out in a long time but we are going to try other places to look for better Value, living in Worsley we are not far from Bolton so going to try one there next.
