Enjoyed a lovely meal here with friends and my husband.I can't eat garlic as it makes me very ill.The menu listed whether each meal had garlic in it or not.I was able to have a beautiful pasta dish with salmon and prawns. Well done. The staff were great.
Papa Luigis – WiganWe ate here Saturday night. Lovely pub inside and out. Halloumi Fries were amazing but there is not much on the main menu for vegetarians. I had the pasta (it was that or mozzarella and tomato salad). The pasta was over cooked so very soft and was made with sun- dried tomatoes, it was unfortunately too strong a flavour for me . The rest of the food was delicious. The liquor coffee was just a white coffee ( not with the cream floating on top) which was surprising and the service wasn’t the best, drinks took a long time to come while staff were stood around.

The staff, the food and the atmosphere are all authentic Sicilian and absolutely fantastic. They made a huge fuss of our two year old son which made our experience really relaxed. Thanks guys! And the complimentary lemon cello was the icing on the cake. We will definitely be back

I cannot think of anything negative about this experience. Thank you all for making it so amazing!

Fat Loaf – SaleThis was the second time I have been to chakalaka. The first time it was a 3 course meal and cocktails. Really can't complain. The food was delicious and the cocktails were amazing! We tried most the cocktails on the menu! Second time was the 50% off main. Once again it did not disappoint! The food was lovely, staff are attentive and can't do enough for you. The atmosphere is relaxed. Highly recommend!
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreA very nice Italian Restaurant, superbly situated for the Theatre. Great atmosphere and wonderful staff. Great choice on the menu and some really good specials. On this occasion we had Swordfish steak from the specials board. It was cooked to perfection! Melt in the mouth ; delicious !! Would definitely recommend . And we’ll be back.
