Really good food and cocktails. Good value for money and really nice atmosphere, outside is mostly covered to keep from the rain. Will be coming back :)

Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreSo lucky to have such a fantastic venue on our doorstep. Always excellent food and service.
The Fox Roby Mill – WiganGREAT REAL ALE. CHEAP PRICES. EXCELLENT SERVICE.
Wigan Central – WiganAs with other reviews above, tremendous to have such an establishment in our local area. They have done a tremendous job with the rear garden eating area with the rustic tables and substantial and lovely wooden pods. We booked a pod and it was very comfortable and the heater unit kept us warm. Thankfully the menu is not too heavy in terms of choice and it’s clear IL Mulino want to present Italian food in a more contemporary way. We ordered a mixture of starters and mains with mixed success in the mains. The sea food risotto was lacking in fish flavour and the sea food very small and the beef cheek ragout whilst lovely in presentation just lacked seasoning making it bland in flavour. We had a lovely night and very much pleased to get out finally to a restaurant but despite other great reviews our experience was rather flat, made worse when the bill arrived. Service and staff very good. We will try again but hope it’s better than this occasion.
Il Mulino – WiganAbsolutely delicious meal, and the girls serving us deserve a medal seeing as we had hail and rain showers, i have a table booked for the 17th when hopefully we will be able to have our meal inside .
The Fox Roby Mill – WiganBest bar in Wigan. Always a friendly welcome by all the staff. Great selection of draught beers, bottles and cans from the beer library. Handy for both stations so good to pop into before or after a train journey, and the live timetable feeds are useful. Looking forward to the return of live music.
Wigan Central – WiganHave been watching this restaurant getting done up over lockdown and wanted to go when things were back open again. The menu sounded good on line, but in reality, it was even better. We were a party of four and each one of us enjoyed our meals, they were plentiful and delicious. The only negative was having to eat outside, when we arrived it had been raining, so the waitress had to dry our chairs. It was also freezing, which didn't make for a great eating environment. They did provide blankets, however, their patio area could have done with more heating. If you were in one of their booths, it had eating, but on the patio area, there didn't appear to be any. It was so cold, we skipped dessert. When paying, I got a glimpse of the inside of the restaurant, which looked beautiful. We're looking forward to returning when we are able to eat indoors.
Il Mulino – WiganFood was really tasty and the cocktails were amazing! The table was covered by a large umbrella so we stayed dry despite the heavy rain and there was a heater at our table to keep us warm. Would definitely go back!
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreExquisite food, friendly staff, highly recommended and we will certainly be returning.
Il Mulino – WiganWhat a venue fast friendly service, we only had table for 2 hrs asked for more and someone cancelled so was offered and we accepted plus 6 more turned up and they managed to seat them for 12:00-14:00 so kind sadly to full after but thank you again .
Wigan Central – WiganFirst time out and it was brilliant! The set up was great, lovely and warm with the heaters and the little lights made it so cosy. We didn’t want a lot to eat so just order lots of nibbles and they were all fantastic. Massive well done to everyone, difficult times and they nailed it
The Fox Roby Mill – WiganBeautiful setting, great service and lovely food, We will definitely be back. Would be good to have a lunch menu too.
Il Mulino – WiganSo lovely to be back at Art of Tea! Just had the best mushroom soup ever!!
The Art of Tea – DidsburyAmazing food and service.
Il Mulino – WiganOur local South African joint! Best boerewors I’ve had in the UK and the biltong Mac and cheese is insanely good! The service is excellent and everyone is super-friendly! The outside space is also cool and is equipped with heaters. 100% recommend
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreWent at lunchtime, made to really welcome, staff really friendly. Food was excellent and all at a very good price as well. Whole experience couldn’t be faulted. We will return again soon.
The Fox Roby Mill – WiganWhat a wonderful evening ,what an amazing place. The food was incredible and the staff were so friendly and helpful we were so worried about being outside and being wet and cold but they had heaters booths, and blankets And. The atmosphere was warm and cosy We will definitely be back soon Thanks for a great time.
Il Mulino – WiganI have been going to AOT since it opened and have never been disappointed. The carrot cake is the best you will ever experience. Uncomplicated food cooked expertly and is delicious. I love that ingredients are sourced locally and are cooked from scratch. I have always loved the ambience and the feel of the place. This is the best cafe in Manchester. Hands down. No contest! Don't ever close!!
