Fabulous meal as usual. Best Italian in Mcr for me! Very busy on the night we went as events on at the theatre and The Bridgewater but the personal service was still there!
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreThree of us has the pre theatre meal but only one of us enjoyed their food . The garlic pizza was dry and over cooked and the mushroom starter was lukewarm . I mentioned this to the waitress but she smiled and said she would tell her supervisor .The staff are very friendly but clearly when the restaurant is busy prior to a theatre show the food is fished out with little thought of quality .
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreThoroughly enjoyed our meal from the pre-theatre show set menu. My daughter had seen something from the other set menu she'd set her heart on and the waiter very kindly said she could have that as her main instead. Staff were lovely and the meal was very tasty.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreHad an excellent lunch. Healthy food in luxurious surroundings.
Foodwell – Manchester City CentreWent here based on reviews, had been many years before but wasn't impressed then But thought why not try again as reviews seemed good. Decor much improved, lighting is terrible way to bright, feels like being in a operating theatre. heating was on way to high myself and another guest had to remove clothing. Met by a young man who was very friendly and professional great start the restaurant was empty at 6.30pm ! shown to our seats offered options which is always good placed our drinks order which arrived promptly, the specials menu for £14.95 was very limited in the choices.just basic chicken dishes and the usual pizza options. I had garlic mushrooms which were breaded !! never a good sign, they were very bland had no real taste tiny pot of bland mayonnaise ,very poor. my partner had the mushroom covered with goats cheese again lacking in any real taste plus greasy. I had beef stroganoff with rice large portion which was good better too much rather than not enough,my partner had a chilli chicken pasta dish but again the chicken tasted bland, we both thought it tasted frozen. Didn't bother with a desert for obvious reasons, what a let down considering the feed back i am at a loss as to why it there was such a difference for us. The soft seats were very very uncomfortable the seat bases have all collapsed due to usage i suspect, they are not matched to the table height subsequently you are almost reaching over your food, and i am 6ft 1 !! Overview: the chef needs to taste his food as he prepairs it sort the chairs out asap, turn the lights down to create a more relaxing environment and i think it would be a place i would like to go back to.
Andiamo – WesthoughtonThis pub is the pits.furniture carpets toilets all need ripping out and the whole place needs a major overhaul.

Bakchich – Manchester City CentreExcellent food at Leo’s. We tried each others dishes and all very tasty with great presentation. Leg of lamb, steak, sea bass and pasta. All washed down with a fine red wine!
Leo’s Restaurant – MontonHad a excellent and filling lunch at Dougy's on Friday. Curried chicken with rice and veg. Only £7 and kept me going all day!
Dougy’s Uptown – ChorltonEnjoyed our meal there on Sunday, the food was good ,prices fair, the service was very good , the building is beautiful, the only thing that you could add for me is disabled access , I did manage all the steps, and step into restaurant, but some people can not. Do not know if there is disabled toilets on other floors . We did love it and have recommended to friends.
Annies Restaurant – Manchester City CentreTerrible service. Saturday night and the so called grumpy manager served oir table of 2. Had to ask for cocktails Ask for main course to be ordered. Food was great. Toilets disgusting at 21.46.pm. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. WASTE OF MONEY AS OBVIOUSLT NO ONE GIVES A DAMN AS THEY ARE FULL. THE OWNERS NEED TO MANAGE THEIR RESTAURANT!!!!
De Niro’s Bar Ristorante – OldhamWent on 4/11/18- unexpectedly gorgeous place given the outside . Food was gorgeous . Not bad priced . Drinks were pricey £6.50 for a house red, bit OTT. But food was exceptional . I had fillet steak . Bit salty but I didn’t mind . My son had pesto pasta which was lovely with good quality pasta . The waitress said they have live music at weekends which I’m sure would be fun . We will definitely go there again - it’s my new favourite local place !! I don’t understand the low sugar vine ratings ?? Staff were lovely & I loved the cucumber water given without asking .
