Blue Sky Cafe – Ashton Under LyneTasty Tasty they're very Tasty!! They're very Tasty!! I just love the Fish Chips and Chips and Gravy :-) I'm so glad I live not far from them :-D
Charlies Chips – UrmstonThe Stable is lovely, fab staff and best food I've tasted for a long time. It's that nice on my way out I booked another table for the week after. I would highly recommend you and your family to dine here.
Stables Restaurant – HydeI arranged 8 of the girls yto attend Strawbury Duck near Bolton. We all had lovely meals and were impressed with the location and service. Had a nice stroll after dinner too. Will return if in the area.
The Strawbury Duck – BoltonHad a fantastic evening tonight for 21st birthday celebrations, the food, service and entertainment was fantastic. Highly recommend dining here. Definitely will go again. 5 STAR QUALITY.
Gallimores – WiganHad the worst food ever at The Stables Cafeteria Haigh Hall today - left me feeling sick: A sorry excuse for a quiche, sour tasting potato salad, overpowering cole slaw, and a tea bag with milk and water in a cup. We felt fortunate that the sausage roll and chips never arrived. We complained and got our money back - only later realising they had charged us for the 'tea'. It was disgraceful that two older women left the young assistant to deal with our complaint. Will not be visiting again.
Haigh Courtyard Tea Room and Cafe – WiganMy husband and I had a great lunch at The Steak and Lobster. We were shopping in Manchester and used Sugarvine for inspiration. As it was my birthday lobster and fizz were on my mind and this place fitted the bill. Fine food and great value.
Steak & Lobster Manchester – Manchester City CentreWE HAD A FAMILY BIRTHDAY MEAL 6 ADULTS AND 4 CHILDREN SUNDAY EVENING. HAVE TO SAY THE SERVICE AND FOOD WAS FIRST CLASS WITH STAFF GOING THAT EXTRA BIT TO MAKE EVERYONES NIGHT MOST ENJOYABLE. WAS MY FIRST TIME BUT WILL BE THE FIRST OF MANY. THANK YOU AND WELL DONE.
Gallimores – WiganStopped going in as bar staff are off hand also the manager is rude and impolite. Food isn't that great waited ages and when it came it was cold. Bsr staff need training in social skills and customer service.
Toby Tavern Bar & Grill – WiganWe have been to Ruposhi's on several occasions as a large party of 20 people and have always found it to be of exceptional quality in food, service and price. The organisation is perfect, even with large groups everyone is served together. The prices are cheap, the waiters are always cheerful and very helpful to assist you should you need anything. The food is absolutely delicious, the service is always with a smile and I find the whole experience of dining here next to none. Price, Quality and Service with a smile, is difficult to find these days - but not at Ruposhi's. I would definately recommend this family run restaraunt to anyone wanting a relaxing but enjoyful evening. Keep up the hard work guys.
Ruposhi Indian Restaurant – Bury3rd time visited the Istanbul Grill it makes a nice change to actually go somewhere in Urmston that has atmosphere as well as good service and excellent food. Drinks are a bit expensive but most restuarants are. Going again on Friday looking forward to trying something different on the menu again and having a great night.
Istanbul Grill – UrmstonFantastic food & brilliant staff so friendly. We always get a very warm welcome as we know some of the people from Didsbury. The food is always hot & plentiful. The service impeccable very polite & helpful staff . I would very highly recommend the restaurant it's stunning , can't wait to go again.
Istanbul Grill – UrmstonVisited ancora about 30 times in the last few years and ave not been able to fault it in any way. Food great staff brilliant it's that good we are going in again tonight for my mates birthday with our wives 4/8/2014.
Ancora – OldhamVisited on wed 30th july for our anniversary. Absolutely gorgeous food. We were spoilt for choice, delicious! Staff very friendly and attentive. Lovely well decorated restaurant with a nice authentic ambience. We will definitely be visiting again and will recommend to others.
La Cueva Tapas – CheadleSounds great we want to come in.
Rozafa Taverna – StockportRecently experienced a meal at the Village Inn (Ex Greyhound Hotel) Fantastic! The service was really good from very friendly staff. Do they ever stop smiling? The food was hot, tasty and beautifully presented and very reasonably priced. We will definitely return.
Just Thai @ The Village – UrmstonWe have lived in the village for over 20 years. We have just had the most appalling meal ever. We were regular customers to the Horseshoe, but since it's been taken over omg. Staff ok, but my husband ordered the beef, it was 95% FAT. He doesn't like complaining, but he did, every mouthful was FAT. I wouldn't bring it home for my dog. I ordered. Suet pudding, asked was it like the one in the chippys "yes". Oh my husband also ordered chips NOT mash, what did it come with MASH. NO ONE came to apolologise. H toddled off to complain. All we paid for was the starter and wine. We didn't want that - we weren't after free meal. JUST A DECENT ONE. We WILL NOT be returning, and we are going to tell as many of our friends - AVOID this place.
The Horseshoe at Ringley – BoltonWe went to Cinnamon Standish as we had heard about a Sunday buffet offer that seemed too good to be true, it was, first of all we were made to wait for 10 minutes in a cramped foyer area, it's £8.95 for what is supposed to be a buffet, a buffet that offers a choice of just 2 starters & if you require poppadoms they are extra, we had 4 with a chutney tray at a cost of £4.90, the onion bhaji's & chicken tikka starters on offer were nice . The main course offers a choice of just 4 dishes with pilau rice & cardboard pretending to be nan bread, none of which are labelled & when I asked one of the waiters what the dishes were, he didn't know either, I had a brown dish that turned out to be lamb madras, so glad I didn't just plonk this lucky dip dish onto my 2 year olds plate, she would have screamed all night it was that hot, the dish itself was quite nice although the lamb was a little dried up, my wife had chicken tikka massala & despite the tub she got it from looking full, it was an effort to find the chicken but tasted ok . I was driving & my wife's pregnant so we only ordered soft drinks, for a glass which was about 3/4 pint of diet coke I think £3.00 is excessive . Overall the food we ate was generally ok, I don't think there's anywhere near enough choice to describe it as a buffet & labelling of meals would be helpful to customers, I was left waiting 5 minutes for a plate as there were none left when I went for my main course, not ideal . I don't think we'll be returning here as the food is better at other local Indian restaurants, the food on the buffet wasn't replenished regularly, the drinks were expensive & it's unnecessary to leave customers waiting in the small foyer area when 3/4 of the seats in the restaurant were empty .
