Fazenda offers a really fantastic dining experience in beautiful surroundings with tip top service. It serves Gaucho and Brazilian inspired food. A real meat fest presented in a very novel way. Waiters appear at your table with a variety of meats on skewers which are cut and put on your plate. The quality of meat is very high and you can choose from about 10 different cuts. The 'salad bar' is like no other I have seen. Get rid of the image of a Harvester salad bar. This is high end accompaniments to your meat. I think you can eat away for about 2 hours. Our wine by the glass was excellent and next time we will get stuck into the wine list proper. The ambience exudes sophistication and calm. It would appear no expense has been spared. Fazenda has about 4 private dining rooms that look perfect for a party. The staff have clearly been very well trained. One could argue that you don't get time to yourself as waiters continually arrive with food. However each table has a card that can be turned over to indicate that you wish a break. We will return and expect that this venue will do very well indeed.

I have just been to the duke of York with my three children for a birthday treat and I was very disappointed. We waited for a hour and twenty mins for our food so I went and asked how long it would be. We got our food soon after, all of our chips were burnt

Been stacks of times. Love it! Had a party for about 125 people. Been to funeral reception there. We (immediate family) and our extended family love everything about it. Thanks to all.

Absolutely adore this restaurant! Very friendly, fab atmosphere! And the food is totally to die for! Highly reccomend China Cottage!

Went today for Sunday lunch and have to say the carvery was as good as my roast dinners. The beef was succulent and tender and the roast potatoes creamy and crispy. I am booking Xmas day lunch.

Visited Hearth of the Ram for the fourth time recently. As ever the food was excellent and the service good except that when I asked for a Baileys with my coffee, it came with ice which I hadn't asked for and didn't want. When I asked for this to be put right, I expected to be given a fresh drink at room temperature but it seemed that the ice had just been removed leaving me with a cold and slightly watered down Baileys! Ah well, I still like the place and will certainly go again.

We rarely write reviews, but couldn't help it in this case. We have been to this restaurant twice now for takeway and the cuisine is just untouchable. The staff are also very friendly and courteous. We will be definitely be dinning in the restaurant next time. Well done Spice Bar!!!

Unless you live next door to Bens Chippy don't bother ordering. An hour an 35 mins for my food to turn up n then be told they wont be delivering as its 2.1 miles to my house from their chippy. Yet it says on menu free delivery within 2 miles £1.00 per mile thereafter. Food is lovely as we always go, never had delivery before though and very disappointed.

Went to a function in the stunning ballroom. Great food and service in such an impressive space!

On the window outside the restaurant is a quote from The Guardian; "Manchesters first noodle bar and still its best" or words to that effect. We totally agree!

Still the best hotel in Manchester.

Called in for lunch, never had Kurdish cuisine before & was not disappointed! Clean & friendly place, the food was great, very tasty & I came out very satisfied!! Highly recommended.

Called Saturday afternoon 3.30pm with a party of 6. Told that the premises are closed for food. So the open from noon to midnight obviously doesn't count.

I had food with my family. Chicken karahi was very tasty, starters very tasty. But podina lamb and bhindi masala and samosa was realy s***. Service was not good. Glasses which they gave us for having water were not clean and had to wash again..
