New Far Pavilion – SwintonLovely place to grab some great Persian food locally. Small menu but good choice and really tasty, good portions. Not expensive and very relaxed, cafe/restaurant feel. Nice polite, friendly service!
Hafez Restaurant – SaleArrived at 7.25 for a 7.30 booking. We were seated straight away. Enjoyed the food but all courses were rushed and we were asked to leave the table as soon as we had finished the meal as they needed it. We will not be returning.
Istanbul Grill – PrestwichWe visited the restaurant for the first time on Friday evening. My husband is Italian, and we eat at many restaurants, and decided to try this one due to the favourable reviews. We was extremely disappointed and will not be returning! Firstly we was seated adjacent to the toilet entrance which was a very busy area, the restaurant was very noisy, seats too close together, and appeared to be a shortage of staff. Had one drink throughout the meal as couldn't get the attention of the waitress and wasn't approached for a refill either. Starter was not as described, should have been cheese with parma ham, got cheese with salami. Garlic bread inedible as burnt, overcooked to a crisp! Steak was ordered as well done, arrived still mooing, had to be sent back. Osso Bucco very fatty and drown in sauce so couldn't taste the vegetables. This is one of the worse Italian meals we have ever eaten and we will not be returning.
Ciao Bella Restaurant – Manchester City Centrewe have been to 90% of buffets in Manchester and this is by far the best 10 out of 10. the staff are also very friendly and it is very clean. the food is excellent always fresh and the tastiest in Manchester. brill. would recommend it to anyone.
Peking Court, The – Manchester City CentreI bought a kgb deal and took my sister. Booked a table for 2 for 8p.m on saturday night. It was busy. 2 members of staff were serving tables!!!! We had to wait and wait and wait...then when we did get served the starter was brought without the pitta bread...we had to wait and wait and wait...i finally had to go and get it myself...when the main course arrived it was not very warm and undercooked. Food poison next 2 days. NEVER ever again.
Kosmos Taverna – FallowfieldBrilliant cafe, really friendly
Le Casserole – FailsworthI have eaten in this restaurant several times now. The food i have had was great for the whole family! Definitely welcoming to children and the staff were lovely. I recommend it.
Pomegranate Restaurant – DidsburyWent to Momentum as a treat for Mothers day with my two daughters. The restaurant is really stylish, lovely decor and a nice atmosphere. We chose the two course option and was not disappointed! The food was delicious, beautifully presented and the staff were attentive and really pleasant. The waitress we had(we did not get her name)was from the local area but was at Liverpool uni and she was so friendly and pleasant but very efficient too!My daughter has just moved to the area and will definitely be using Momentum again....it is excellent value for money.
Momentum Restaurant & Lounge – WesthoughtonMy favourite chippy. Lovely staff, awesome fish.
Village Chippy – RamsbottomVery disappointed I visited the high moor for a mothers day treat at 27.95 per head very over priced and over rated . Food under cooked manager very rude with no customer service training waited 90 minutes between starter and main meal and was told this was normal . Fist beef full of blood although I asked well cooked I was then told this is the way it is cooked here nothing we can do now . I asked to talk to the manager who was not very helpful and very rude and told me to phone in the week and talk to the owner . I have since tried to contact the owner and after several phone calls he is not available . DONT WAST YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TIME !!

High Moor Restaurant – WiganExcellent food and service. Good selection of freshly prepared dishes. The selection of vegetables that accompanied the main course dishes were lovely (particularly liked the mini-potatoes and peas with pancetta) The set menu offers great value and there are some very tempting desserts.
Stables Restaurant – HydeHad a lovely meal at Saray on Friday night. Amazing service and wide choice of dishes which weren't too pricey. One of us is vegetarian and there was a really good selection of dishes. All food was fantastic and we had a lovely Anatolian wine as recommended by the really helpful waiter. Great atmosphere. Good value for money. Will definitely go again.
Saray Cafe Bar – ChorltonVery disappointed! Booked a party of people 12/13 well in advance told them I wanted one table and the Deccan couldn't even accommodate us with one. So the guests couldn't speak to each other and as some of them didn't know each other and it being SO CRAMPED in the restaurant, they couldn't get up to walk round table. I booked the restaurant for convenience. The food was average and when I asked for them to put the tables together, THEY REFUSED. I wont be going to the Deccan again! Absolutely disgusting! They don't appreciate their customers and they ruined my BIRTHDAY EVENING as many of the guests weren't able to speak to each other as I had intended! Your amateurs at the Deccan! I will tell everyone that I know whats happened! Obviously I wont be visiting again!
Deccan Restaurant – UrmstonUnfortunately the Fisherman's retreat was not as good as I expected. I found the food to be very overpriced and the staff often ignored our party. I was considering it as a wedding venue but have reconsidered given my recent experience. I was also put off as a wedding venue by the outside, its in such a lovely position but has not been landscaped at all and there would be nowhere suitable for photos. Great shame
The Fisherman’s Retreat – RamsbottomWe love San Remo! We love your food! We love Christian! We had a lovely evening on Mother's Day! Many thanks! You're our favorite restaurant yet!!!
San Remo – AudenshawBeen to this restaurant a few times and always had lovely food and great service and at a reasonable price. Staff are so welcoming and friendly and not too over the top. Definitely be going again very soon.
