Chinese Delight Restaurant – BoltonWe never tire of coming here as it's the best Italian around in the Whitefeild/Radcliffe/Bury area and it's still good value. Great service and great food..
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonTwo words, 'Lamb' and 'Henry'... fantastic.
The Horseshoe at Ringley – BoltonWe have had a quite a few big family celebrations and NY eve nights and have enjoyed them all. The food is lovely and the atmosphere both good. Plenty of staff around to serve. I recommend La Roma to everyone!
La Roma Restaurant – Boltonlovely food ...there was 6 in our party and we went for the set menu banquet which was devine and well worth the money. The environment and service was great too- I liked it and would visit again :0)
The Lime Tree – PrestwichZest is a hidden gem, it was recently recommended to us for a great place for lunch ! and it was, loads of choice, great value for money, delicious food and attentive service, we'll definitely be back.
Delicieux – BoltonI knew that the Wayfarer was good from what friends had told me but it was even better than I expected. Each course was delicious and the lemon meringue pie to finish was gorgeous!
Wayfarer Restaurant – Wigan"Absolutely fantastic Indian Restaurant ! Food is always spot on and staff will cook to your requirements, staff are always on hand to help, while giving you space to enjoy your meal.Excellent interior, prices are very reasonable too,I'm going again tomorrow night. !
Simla Inn Tandoori Restaurant – RoytonWe went for lunch last week. really relaxing atmosphere, lovely food, excellent service. Will def go again.
The Lounge – RamsbottomBelieve me, from the outside you just won't believe what's waiting for you. A deli with things you've probably never seen before. A wine stock like you'll not find in many High Streets. And a brasserie menu that could change your lunch and daytime snack habits for a long time.
Delicieux – BoltonJoins Jam St and Hillary Step as my 'local' and I'm not convinced to be honest. Too much high space inside, it's not intimate enough. Poor selection of draught beers compared to the excellent Hillary Step, the only export strength offering is Krombacher which is notorious for bad hangovers. And what's with the X Factor nights? Don't we go to the pub to GET AWAY from the X Factor? Popular hang out for the Chorlton lesbians, which I don't have a problem with, but it's a notable feature of the establishment so let's not avoid the fact. Aside from the extra drinking space, it doesn't offer the regular pub-goer anything that Hillary Step and Jam St doesn't.
Nip and Tipple – HulmeReally good fish and chips.Best We have ever had,and good value.
Mr Frys – BoltonI visited Sottovento on late Sunday afternoon, just as they opened, with my partner and our 3 year old son. I had rather mixed first impressions as we were not greeted immediately and once we'd become settled at the table we were 'overwhelmed' with attention from four different people, including the owner. The place wasn't as busy as we had expected it to be but then I suppose it was early. This afforded us the chance to relax and to enjoy the background music whilst perusing the extensive menu over a glass of wine and a 'mezzo mezzo' (garlic bread with cheese on one half & tomato on the other). The owner who described himself initially of Mediterranean descent attended personally to our table and ensured that my partner's specific preferences for her main course were catered to. Our starters, piping hot soup of the day, and entrees were delicious and without fault. When my son asked me to take him to the bathroom just as my main course was served the plate was quickly taken away and was equally quickly returned to the table when I was seated again. There was no discernible deterioration in the tagliatella casanova that I had ordered. Although our son had been very well behaved he did become restless and took himself off to sit on the comfortable sofas in the adjacent bar area which fortunately was empty as all diners were on the other side of the restaurant. I was pleased to see that the owner adopts a family-friendly approach to his restaurant and this to me is undoubtedly a bonus to the superb food that we enjoyed.
Sottovento – BoltonThis small restaurant is a hidden gem, delicious freshly prepared authentic Italian food, friendly atmosphere, live piano music Friday and Saturday. A far cry from the multi national chains.
Il Maestro – Cheadlewe booked a party for 25 people in the function room which we got a great deal on. We had a choice of 9 buffet dishes at only £12 per head in the private function room. Service was great too. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a party in Manchester city centre
Ashoka – Manchester City CentreWhat a little gem in Bury!!! Food, atmosphere and service were second to none. Wouldn't be out of place as a city centre restaurant. Value for money - would recommend to anyone who wanted somewhere a little more special to dine. Well done!
