My family has been eating at this restaurant for forty years. It is the best Chinese food around. The staff have always been first class, efficient, pleasant and polite. My husband and I had a meal tonight and it was as delicious as ever. I also bought a takeaway for my daughter, which was delicious and value for money. Many people I know eat there and I have never heard anyone complain about the food or the service. Full marks from us.

Not one for slagging off places but to put it simply the attitude of this place stunk. Two of my friends have been in here before and said the food was excellent. In this case, it was very poor. first of all, it took them 25 minutes to come and ask us for our order (we asked twice when are they coming). Starters then took around 20 minutes to arrive, mostly dry. The meal then took around 80 minutes to arrive, during which point we all had our coats to actually walk out after asking them three times where was our food. Only to get told, with terrible customer service, the food has been cooked fresh, but 80 minutes! The real icing on the cake was when they eventually bought the meals out, they bought out a fish deal for one of our party who had asked for a none meal meal. (He is vegetarian). We complained and was told that would not be putting on the bill and we want get a special discount. Well guess what? they tried putting it on there and there was no discount. We ended up complaining again and the meal was struck off, and we got a free drink each. Wow. 3 hours in a busy restaurant with 4 lots of complaints for a sub-standard meal. I certainly won't be going there again.

Went to La Cueva with my family for a Sunday meal. Very fantastic food clean atmosphere, staff well trained. We had a fantastic evening and definitely will visit again. Thanks to the staff. Mama Flos

Love the new Solita in Didsbury. Took my girls and they have an excellent kids menu.

Cannot fault this watering hole, great hosts, nice guests, never any trouble. Good beer, what more do you need to ask for? Been a regular for approx 30 yrs.

Been Rosso's a couple of times (just for cocktails), lovely place and great staff who really do take care of you. Can't wait to go again next week!

I go to Harvey's all the time and I love it, you can get anything and everything there and it's the nicest place in Bolton to go for drinks :)

Went with the family at the weekend . My partner and child had spaghetti carbonora was bland and flavourless. Had steak and potatoes . The steak was cooked well but the potatoes were obviously reheated and had a reheated taste . The ice cream tub on the kids menu was a small portion , on turning the tub upside there was a dead space of 1.5cm , a real cheat. The waiter said he would inform the manager and seemed irritated asking us why we hadn't mentioned anything early. There were a few glances over to our table by the manager but no one came over . The whole experience was very disappointing and the food was poor value.

Superb lunchtime feed at Thaikhun Manchester. Decor gorgeous. Loved it. I had papaya salad and massuman curry. Partner had veggie pad thai. Friend had beef salad and some other meat dish. All great.

Very poor take away service with orders in correct. Owner then lies and has very poor excuses. Meals ruined awaiting to complete orders. Tries to blame delivery driver for his own incompetence and ignorance

Was sent Special fried rice for delivery. Opened it to find absolute miniscule amount of meat in the dish. Basically I just paid nearly £6 for rice!!!!!!!! Phoned them up and was told in a condescending way thats "thats how special fried rice is done" Like i was some idiot who has never had the dish before. Cutting corners on quality and ingredients but still charging premium prices stinks to high hell. They were not helpful one little bit, did nothing to try and solve the problem. I was just fed a "like it or lump it" attitutde. Definitely will NOT be spending my hard earned cash at this rip off merchant again. I advise anyone thinking of ordering from here to double check your orders before you leave the shop to make sure you havent been fleeced like I was.

Oh my. This lovely restaurant set at the side of the canal is a little gem in the centre of monton. Myself and 3 friends went for a meal on a Thursday evening 11th sept. Wow the service was excellent, the waitress was very accomodating with our meals if we didn't want one thing she offered to change it for something different. Our meal was of top standard and not overly expensive. If you're looking for something a little different but a little special, this is definitely the place

Been going to standard for over 20 years whilst I don't eat indian food I am always happy with English menu. My wife always want to go back for her Indian dishes for the place itself. Well done for change of décor nice clean staff always make you welcome.

My cousin suggested George's for quick lunch we both ordered from the lighter Menu. I can honestly say it was the best Advocado salad ever tasted. The staff were very attentive the prices very reasonable. Will be back next time in the evening and hopefully have time for main course.

What a great find! We've lived in Elton for a week, and thought we'd check this place out for a takeaway. Staff couldn't be more helpful, and the food was amazing. Well worth a visit.

Horrible and cold food. Visited 08/09/14 for my birthday meal. We ordered chicken wings for starters they arrived wittiin minutes and were cold and came on a sizzling platter with raw onions. For mains my husband ordered a burger which had lamb, chicken and beef and I ordered a t bone ranch style steak. Was looking forward to it but when it arrived everything was like warm and did not taste very nice at all. For sides I ordered veg and roast pots. They veg was cold and tasted like they had been in the freezer and boiled and the potatoes were equally horrible. The steak had hardly any meat on. It was very fatty and tasted sweet. Disgusting. My husband burger felt like leftovers for the filling. The beef burger was cold and crunchy and the lamb had no taste. It was disgusting. I paid so much money for horrible food and my birthday was ruined. Never going there again
