had a really good meal last time we visited this restaurant.food excellent. back there again this week.
Due Amici – WorsleyI ordered a beef dish from the menu. I ate most of my vegetables before starting on the meat, as is a habit of mine. I choked down two pieces of unpalatable, inedible beef in a valiant effort to enjoy my meal but, when I found it slithering its way back up my gullet, I realised I wouldn't be able to force down anymore and asked that my dish be changed to chicken. Cue the chef and her absolutely appalling attitude informing me that I had eaten almost 'the entire dish' and as a result she would only be happy 'to put some chicken on top'. On top of a beef dish?! REALLY?! Actually no, that was inaccurate, as there was clearly an almost full bowl of food in her hand which she then slammed onto the side next to her, and it was not going to happen because, as a chef and kitchen manager myself, there was no way I was being fobbed off simply because this creature was unable to cook beef without turning it into rubber. When she realised I wouldn't be fobbed off this very angry woman then muttered some epithets and stormed off into the kitchen, leaving me in no doubt that at Fuzion, it doesn't matter if your food is inedibly awful, the chef expects you to eat it anyway and will make you feel as small as she possibly can before she will replace it with something that doesn't make you retch as you swallow. I've eaten at Fuzion for several years and until today have never had a bad word to say about the place. The food and service have always been impeccable and this was the first time I have ever had to return a dish. This horrendous harpy has ensured that I'll think twice before eating here again and certainly won't be recommending it to my friends.
Fuzion Noodle Bar – FallowfieldA great experience at Shiraz! Lovely staff & interior design. The ceiling was beautifully done. Food = sooo tasty. Can't remember their names but the mince meatball starter was yummy. Excellent sauce. Was warned about plum stones but none present. Aubergine & garlic dip has an amazing taste. Main courses were also delicious. Lamb casserole = very distinct & the lamb was cooked to perfection. The glasses & cutlery were very clean. Sparkling glasses. The staff were very attentive & even took a picture of us (we hand our cameras out quite a bit since we were photographing the food, haha). Would definitely go back!
Shiraz Restaurant – NorthendenBeen during the week and on a Saturday and the service and food have been impeccable both times! The steak is better than Gauchos for a fraction of the cost plus it comes with sides included!? Amazing value for money and just a lovely place to sit and eat :) can't wait to go back!
Fahrenheit Bar & Grill – Manchester City CentreThis Restaurant is a MUST VISIT. In the last 2 months i've been 5 times! Scallops to start, Steak for main and Creme Brulee for dessert..this costs me £20 even on a saturday night..it's too incredible to put into words!! I've been invited to the launch of their new menu and i'm just happy to hear the scallops are staying!
Fahrenheit Bar & Grill – Manchester City Centrei loved the food and the service and it was such value for money. atmosphere was great too. all round winner!!
Indigo – BoltonI have been going to the owls for well over 15 years and have always enjoyed the meals both in the restaurant and the other side for bar meals. The bar meals were excellent and value for money however since it has been refurbished the meals have increased in price and decreased in quality. There is not as much choice just fish and pies. Fish and chips was £7.95 and when we asked the waitress where was the peas she said we had to order them seperately. We waited 45 minutes for our meals, this was due to having waitress service that takes your order at your table. We asked for two seperate bills and when we went to pay it was charged all on one bill. We informed the waitress that we wanted to pay seperately and she said can't do that because you would not get your meals together. Not a nice experience at all. We will not be going back.
The Owls At Standish – WiganI have been going to the Gurka Grill for many years now with my family and i have to say the food is delicious and Raj and Niel are very welcoming. I really liked how they take the time to get to know their customers and are always polite. I recommend the Gurkha Grill to everyone i know and i have never heard a complaint.
Gurkha Grill – DidsburyThey have a great deal every day, 2 meals for £10. The food is good and value for money. In addition they have a specials menu which is always good value and high quality.
The White Horse – StockportWe had a fantastic time at Leos for my birthday recently. The food is extremely reasonable for an Italian restaurant, with a bottle of wine, three courses and coffee for two coming in at under £50. Food was excellent, highly recommend the bruschetta to start and a great specials board. Very efficient service without rushing you and though the place was busy the atmosphere was relaxed and not hectic as so often happens in busy restaurants on a Friday night. We will definitely go back!
Leo’s Restaurant – MontonThe Tavern on hill is a great place with excellent food, I'm fussy where i eat and this place has never let me down yet. I go the Tavern for Romantic Meals with my partner and nearly every Sunday with my three children. Fills us up well!
Tavern Fayre – BoltonAbsolutely great. Went a fortnight ago - pretty early on Sat night - was quiet but a few couples in and the Armenian Banquet was amazing. Pretty much all the starters on a lovely mezze then a selection of bbq'd meats served with spiced rice and a jug of lovely cuminy tomato sauce - Armenian coffee to finish. Strongest coffee EVER. House wine was passable and the bill was very reasonable. Decor is amazing - yes very old fashioned but then it's not selling itself as fashionable! Added to a unique atmosphere - attentive staff and great open kitchen front so you could really smell the BBQ!!
Armenian Taverna and Restaurant – Manchester City CentreVisited Ichiban yesterday with some friends who had received a voucher as a present. On arrival was told it was the first day of their new menu. The staff was very helpful too when we were trying to decided what to order, I had the fillet steak rolls as a starter and the Lamb miso soup ramen for main, I had to say the ramen was very good indeed, better than the ones i had at wagamama and the lamb was full of flavour and tender. My friend had the Japanese Yaki Udon and some tempura prawns. Both looked very presentable. All in all a very good experience from a Oriental at the top of the curry mile.
Ichiban Noodle Rice and Grill – RusholmeWent on recommendation on a Sunday afternoon. FANTASTIC ! knocks spots off the likes of Pizza Express !. The pizzas are full, right to the edge and so fresh ....I was quite taken aback by the quality. We were a party of 4 ....3 had starters, all excellent .....2 juice drinks, 1 beer, 1 bottle of water and a glass of decent champagne plus 4 mains ....total cost £66 - Definitely will go again. The service was excellent and the atmosphere inviting with lots of low lighting ...brilliant afternoon spent there....very nice clientele too !
Croma – Manchester City CentreBest Buffet in Town! I go before every Utd match. Crispy Duck, Shredded Beef, Soft Noodles and the Jelly and Ice CREAM :) Hits the spot everytime!
