Summat To Ate – WiganChicken was really smelly like cheesy feet or something avoid at all costs come to the jewl in the crown bury!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ruposhi Indian Restaurant – BuryVisited the Airfield Lodge today for the first time on recommendation of friends I can honestly say one of the worst places I have ever eaten, firstly the person who took our food order obviously didn't have the correct training on the till because kept messing the till up and asked us 3 times to repeat the order. We ordered starters and mains for five people we were the only ones there and after half hour still no food, was just about to complain when our mains were bought out we asked about the starters to be told that the person who took our order said that he thought we wanted the starters with our main meals. After a lot of apologies from a lovely young girl we said we would have our starters and mains together as she was very apologetic food was supposed to be home cooked food I don't think so. one of our five ordered scami with a jacket potatoes and got given chilli rice after complaining yet again they then bought out scami with chips and not jacket by this time were fed up so said nothing untill my mum ate the scampi which was raw and cold in the middle. Would definitely not eat here ever again.
The Airfield Lodge – EcclesHad a lovely meal with the grandchildren good friendly service A****
Charnley Arms – WiganThis was my second visit to this unique restaurant. Last time I was impressed with the Lobster and equally so this time, with my steak. Starters were also tiptop as was the house Rioja. Would recommend the hotel the restaurant is housed in, as a place to stay, if in Manchester too.
Steak & Lobster Manchester – Manchester City CentreMe and my boyfriend was recommended Annie's by a friend! But when she went Jennie wasn't there to greet her to much by my suprise she was when I visited! I went on a Sunday, the waiting area is gorgeous to have so e drinks and a catch up, as I went on a Sunday I thought I'd try the Sunday roast!! And the mash potatoe!! Oh my, amazing! Literally melted in the mouth, ill definitely be back for afternoon tea! Gorgeous restaurant with friendly staff x
Annies Restaurant – Manchester City CentreI dined here the other night alone as I wanted to check it out before returning with the family to use our Tesco reward tokens which I discovered are being accepted at the venue until mid August. I have to say that everything was perfect - the food, the service and the price. So much so that upon leaving I booked a table for five to celebrate a family birthday. I'm confident that my family including two children and a grandparent will be more than happy with the food and the atmosphere, especially since on the night in question there is live music. It is to be hoped that the Tesco trial will be extended as we would much prefer to support independent restaurants rather than the national chains.
Italia Mia – BuryCracking place a hidden gem in little Hulton.
Davardi’s Pizza Bar – WorsleyHello Lino, (and fantastic kitchen staff) Ordered four take away pizza and a salad tray last evening (Aug 3) picked them up about 7-15pm. My brother and his wife from Sydney Au -(who are used to great food) and were with us for the evening - said that your PIZZAS were fantastic and greatly enjoyable and as good as any pizzas anywhere they had dined. So thank you again for making our visitors so satisfied which our choice of Al-fresco for our food. Regards and more success to you all, Lavelia and Bernard Hood and Australian guests.
Al Fresco – StockportI would just like to express my disappointment with my visit to Haigh Hall today. I have a labrador and the cafe was unable to provide a bowl of any kind for me to put water in for my dog to have a drink on such a hot day! Staff were very apologetic and explained that this was the rules. They said it was due to littering?? I do not understand why a dog bowl filled with water can not be put outside? How is this littering? I had to resort to a man giving me the lid to his chips and me walking through the cafe and filling it up in a sink outside! Every place I have visited like this have just had a bowl of water outside, why is it such a problem at haigh hall? Very disappointed and embarrassed about the situation I had to go through!!! I hope this issue will be looked at and resolved, especially when this is a place where dogs are walked day in day out. Please could someone respond to my complaint and give me an explanation or a resolution. Thank you
Haigh Courtyard Tea Room and Cafe – WiganHello I have recently ordered a chicken kebab I thought the £5.99 was a little steep but felt assured it would be worth the money. When it arrived it was in a very hard small pitta bread and side salad , the chicken was a touch too spicy and around 7 pieces so for £5.99 I would have gone two doors up and got a curry for less which would have been more substantial and both tasty and worth the money . I won't be returning to italianos again !
Italiano – WesthoughtonCalled in purely by chance and stayed all evening. Landlord/lady very sociable and introduced me to the regulars, made me feel very much at home. I will definitely visit again when in the area. Definitely.
The Dusty Miller – Buryi like this restaurant, i have to talk to the owner of this restaurant IFTEKHAR SAHIB please Email me.Thanks!
Shahenshah Restaurant – RusholmeThis restaurant has been the only and best indian restaurant for nearly 30 years now. Food was spot on for this family run business and has recently decorated to meet the changing world as the most modern restaurant around in Manchester. Food was excellent and the service/ staff are attentive, plus they have a sense of humour .
La Minhaz Balti House – MiddletonCalled in one Saturday night after being recommended by a friend only too see my old work colleague leeroy from 12 years ago. Top guy and amazing Caribbean food the chicken (fried and jerk )too die for. Get on down to nice and tasty for quality and quantity at low prices best Caribbean place by far !!!!!!!!!
Caribbean Nice & Tasty – SalfordThis venue is very disappointing. The service is appalling and the food is very mediocre. A small dispute over the bill lead to the owner of the restaurant shouting abuse and swearing loudly in the middle of a relatively busy restaurant issuing threats and calling the police (who took my side much to his frustration), in spite of my own calm and polite approach to the matter. It was embarrassing and something i have never expect from a restaurant. It ruined my evening and made other customers feel very uncomfortable. To add insult to injury, the food itself is also of lower quality than its competitors nearby. I strong word of advice - AVOID!
