It may be small but the Spice Garden has a great vibe and the food is always top quality. The family that run the Spice Garden are warm and friendly. I have recommended this place to friends, family and for business lunches and everyone thinks is fabulous. Wish there were more places like this!
Spice Garden – RamsbottomI recently visited the wayfarer this January, having not been here for a couple of years. I was surprised to find that there was also a Italian restaurant as well as the a la carte and pub area. i was bamboozled with which of the extensive menus to order from. A very polite young girl informed me that if we sat in the bar we could eat from all the menus, which pleased us all as we wanted different things. My son is a celiac and i was very impressed when i was told that they cater for celiacs and even had gluten free pasta! Something that many establishments do not take into consideration. I thought id try the "Famous wayfarer fish&chips" And it lived up to its name undoubtedly one of the nicest pieces of fish i've ever had, with homemade chips and mushy peas YUM! My wife wanted to try the seabass dish, which again was perfectly cooked and accompanied with a tasty potato cake and delicious cream sauce( may i add that the fillet was generous in size) My daughter loves her steaks and every time we go out to eat without fail she'll always order one. She was torn between the ribeye and the fillet and decided on the 10 oz Ribeye. She was not disappointed, she asked for it medium rare and it was cooked perfectly to her liking, tender and packed with flavour, served with hand cut chips, fresh seasonal veg and pepper sauce. We were all pretty full, but after the excellent mains we couldn't resist trying a couple of the homemade sweets to share. The sticky toffee pudding (a favourite of mine) was beautiful, but that was blown out of the water by the chefs lemon meringue pie. It was amazing, well worth the 10 minute waiting time for it to be freshly baked and the presentation was like a piece of artwork. After a few years of not visiting the wayfarer I'm glad we came back. As good, if not better than before! With more choice and friendly helpful staff. We will returning again soon! Highly recommended

Casa Belmondo – RoytonMy family and I went there on Sunday for my 40th Birthday. We hadn't been before and a quick look at the menu prices appeared to be quite high but as it was a special occasion we wanted something good. We all ended up ordering the Sunday 3 course special. for £10.95 because we were all spoiled for choice by the 'fixed' menu. There was about half a dozen choices for each course. We all could have picked each one - they were so tempting. Everyone wanted the garlic and Parmesan mushrooms for starters so I picked the Greek salad. Both were excellent. For mains we all picked the Roast sirloin of beef for mains and we all were so impressed by the quality of the meat and the choice of vegetables accompanying it. Our waitress was delightful - nothing too much trouble. When we got to the sweets we all went for different things and we were all extremely pleased with each one. I can definitely recommend the bread and butter pudding. We all had a lovely time but it is definitely not child friendly which I think is a good thing even with a 6 month old baby. By this I mean there are no highchairs, crayons or silly meals. However, this doesn't mean that you can't take your kids - just take your own entertainment. The food and atmosphere is excellent, service great and we would definitely return even to pick from the normal menu. Just lovely!!

The portions are just enough, beautifully cooked and the service, when we called in was warming and welcoming. One added to our list for lunch and evening visits.

Great interior. very different Service not great had to ask numerous times Food Steak and Onion sandwich, great big hunk of fresh bread with not a lot of anything else, soggy tasteless deep fried new pot, (no Salt) Friend had a pizza, which was a good thin dough with a tomato sauce and not a lot of much else Coffee Cappuccino was a typical bad cappuccino, please can people serve a proper 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 ..... and not boiling hot. This place has won awards, all I can say is the competition must not be much kop!
Folk Deli/Cafe/Bar – Didsburywe visited the owles on 22/1/2011 the food was very good but the service was terrible we were told the wait was 20 mins we waited 40mins we were told our table was ready but we were not shown were the table was we had to ask another member of staff were our table about so we could go sit down for our meals

I live in westhoughton and have been to all the local restaurants at lest twice, some, more often, and been to restaurants in the citys like Manchester and London, but after going to Andiamo's, i truly believe it to be the best one i have been to. the portions were spot on, and i have a big appetite, the wine selection is great and the staff are very friendly. I'm going back tonight. Cant wait. :)
