Jordans Fish and Chip Shop – Wiganrubbish! it was good last year but now its changed, people just stare a you,you wait for ages to be taken to a table. Its changed!!
Royal Nawaab – LevenshulmeVisited La Salsa for the 2nd time and I can certainly say they do not disappoint. All you can eat for £11.95 and boy did I eat, there's so much choice, everything I had was absolutely beautiful and fresh too. Loads of meat and fish dishes as well as plenty of choice for vegetarians. Enough food to sink a ship( I was fit for bursting), two large wines and two beers for £38.00- absolute bargain, so much so that we're off again next Friday. Not to be missed. Service was top notch
La Salsa – HorwichI think this is the best South Asian restaurant in Manchester. The staff are fantastic, extremely courteous and really do tailor the dishes to your taste. The food is of a very high standard, and as a regular customer, I am always impressed by the dishes not being submerged in a huge amount of oil. If there was any justice, this place would be busy every night of the week. My favourite dish is the balti fish tikka, although the veggie options are excellent too, particularly the channa dishes.
Asian Fusion – ChorltonWe went to Pacifica for a celebration meal after it was recommended by friends. We were not disappointed. The food was lovely, especially the Dim Sum and it was good value for money. Would definitely go again.
Pacifica Cantonese – EcclesVery busy place and a good atmos. A good end to an arduous shopping trip at the nearby Rock. They always do vouchers at Pizza Express, so it's always good value.
Pizza Express – BuryA big party of us ate here last month for a birthday and we had a good time. The live band downstairs was a touch OTT as we couldn't really hear each other speak and you do get a ridiculous amount of food.. so make sure you're hungry before you go.
Bem Brasil Deansgate – Manchester City CentreIt's ok.. not worthy of the award, but it's a nice place and worth a visit if you're going past.
METRO Fish Bar – BuryWe ate here a few weeks ago, pre show (Bury Met Theatre) and it was really good. Good, prompt service and nice food.
Automatic Lounge – BuryLeo's in Horwich. Good food and good price.
Leo’s – HorwichI have never ever ordered a meal where I have had to call the company back and ask them to collect their meal and ask for a refund. The food is a not edible and the managers attitude was just as bad, putting the phone down on me and telling me I am wrong. Surely feedback is important to any business owner. I urge anyone who is looking for fresh, decent food, stay away from the spicy hut. I have had some pretty rubbish take-aways in my time, but not one item from this company was in anyway acceptable.
Spicy Hut – Rusholmethe fish+chip s are fantastic ,very friendly staff wont go any where else
Enfield Street Chippy – WiganUnfortunately this is definitely not a recommendation for the restaurant. We have just returned from a birthday meal for a friend. It was a large party of about 20 people who were advised that the menu for a set fee to include 6 tapas plates. We were happy with this until we realised that the 6 tapas plates received would be between 4 people. In effect, we paid £12.00 per person for just 6 plates of tapas and one small dish of salad (£48.00 pound for 6 plates!). The owners certainly saw us coming and as most were local people who attended, I think they have lost a lot of business. Certainly, we will be telling our friends not to bother. A disappointing end to a good day and staff seemed unconcerned when we complained and left hungry.
La Torre – UrmstonI've been 3 times in the last 6 weeks. All meals faultless. Excellent food, fine selection of wine and great service. I'll be back.....
Isinglass – Urmstonwe went to the andiamo restaurant last night , the service , food and atmosphere was outstanding . from my telephone booking several days before to leaving the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly . , they catered for our special requirements on service and food which was delicious , also the portion sizes were perfect.
Andiamo – WesthoughtonCame Sat night and it was very nice thanks
Sir Winston Churchill – Harvester – RochdaleI wish this restaurant was still a best kept secret but the word has spread... It is a warm family friendly Italian with great food, generous portions and a laid back environment that has not compromised on its excellent service. Dress up or down you'll fit in. Modern decor but spacious and the chairs are comfortable. Good parking availability. I’ve been a few times now and they quickly get to know you, Chef has always been very accommodating about little changes. They do take-aways too – much to my husbands appreciation, the steak in peppercorn sauce just melts in the mouth. The pasta is always perfectly al dante, I would recommend the sea food linguine, it’s my favorite. A brilliant place to try mid week – as there are often very good offers.
Baci Restaurant – BoltonWe have been going to Baci since its opening and have enjoyed both eating in and takeaway menu.
