Had a great time wonderful food great service lots of tasty dishes to order from. The best Persian restaurant in town.
Shiraz Restaurant – NorthendenThe curry is ok but staff is not really helpful.
Jai Kathmandu – NorthendenAn excellent choice of menu and absolutely delicious when served. Service is great, not rushed or having to wait too long to order. Recommend the restaurant to anyone as food and wine is excellent and great value.
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonMixed I went to eat in and had an absolutely fantastic meal, really spot on I then followed this up with a takeaway the week after, which was the most insipid and bland thing I've ever eaten - It said it was a Balti Wicked but turned out to be 3 pieces of chicken in tomato puree - no spice or zip whatsoever Eat in, don't takeaway
Balti Brasserie – Ecclesi've bin goin 4 14 years and ur right the lamb curry is still the same and addictive!!
Al-Faisal Tandoori – Manchester City CentreMy hubby and I visited here for the first time on Saturday night... we booked for 9pm but on arrival there seemed to be a mix up amongst the (senior, not waiting) staff and on our way to our table we were ushered briskly back to the bar area by another guy as he 'has people waiting' ..? then left us to it for 25 mins before even offering us a menu ... the place was busy but not bursting - when we got seated at 935ish there were 4 or 5 clear tables. Anyway aside from that, which i found very rude but counted to ten as we didn't want to spoil a long awaited night out :(... the food was good, waiting staff very polite and pleasant. Nice to have a pub/bar area which was lively, for a drink after meal.
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonReally excellent food at sugos and a good, reasonably priced wine list... try the pasta with spicy sausages (fusilli al diavolo) - it is gorgeous and so are the mushrooms with chillis starter (funghi di bosco) - which is enough to share between 2 of you. Best garlic bread i've ever had too. the decor is lovely and modern and the place is ideal for a cosy night out for 2 or for a group
Due Amici – WorsleyPanama Hatty's is such an excellent place to eat. My girlfriend took me there for our first Valentines day together. We have been there several times since and had great service and well cooked/presented food every time. A very relaxed environment and polite staff. 10/10
Panama Hattys – Manchester City CentreAbout the best food I've had out for ages in South Manchester, including far more expensive restaurants. It's a plain, smallish room, friendly and informal, and run by nice people. The menu isn't large (a good sign) but everything they do is really topnotch, full of taste, fresh and zingy. Seven of us ate mid-week this evening (£17.50 for three courses) and amazingly not one dish was a dud.
Bistro West 156 – Didsburyoh my god fantastic takeaway, best Indian in leigh never late with deliveries, always hot very good
Chilli (Leigh) – WiganBooked a table for six (because they don't do bookings for less than six people, so if you want an intimate dinner for two, always have random strangers to hand to make up the numbers) for last Thursday 2nd July 2009, got there, they denied all knowledge of the booking, waited half an hour before anyone came to take the drinks order... and waited another hour before our salad main course turned up, starters were completely forgotten, and so should you if you're thinking of going there, BoHo Chorlton... more like BooHoo Croma.
Croma – Chorltonhi can honestly say me and my husband went on the 26th june 09, was totally disappointed, apart from not much choice on the 2 course menu we was sat on top of the next table. wasn't the only ones who thought so cheap thats about all. wouldnt go again.
The Owls At Standish – Wiganhi we went to the olive garden friday lunch, what a lovely place, very friendly waiter. food was excellent one of the best italians we have been to. our only complaint is the price of drinks. when we got the bill was quite shocked at 3.20pence for my husbands bitter. worth a visit but ask for the wine menu is our advice.
Olive Garden – WiganMy partner and I visited Bistro West 156 last night for the first time. Wow! It was a beautiful evening and we sat outside. The restaurant is small and quaint and the food was outstanding. Big portions and excellent value for money. You MUST try it
Bistro West 156 – DidsburyThis is the best, if your looking for good food no frills this is it. I have tried to keep quiet about this place for years but the secrets out.Everybody that goes here will always return. The best Lamb curry i have ever tasted. Try the veg samosas, incredible.Take them home they keep you going for days. Also best nan ever. The service is easy and uncomplicated.
Al-Faisal Tandoori – Manchester City CentreA fantastic, well run, friendly Italian restaurant with excellent food and service in a lovely location in the Irwell Valley. I fully recommend La Roma whether it be an informal lunch time visit, a romantic meal, party time or with kids also. La Roma offers the all round package for whoever you are. We like La Roma so much that we don't consider any other Italian restaurant as most just can't compete.. ps The House Red is superb!
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonGood original old English fish & chip shop, no pizza no kebabs excellent food well recommended pay a visit.
Sundial Chip Shop – BuryWe've been here a few times in 2008 and everything was great, went in June 2009 and it seems as though there has been a change of management. The food is ok but not outstanding and a little bit pricey for what you get. Saying that ,the desserts are excellent. The staff seem friendly enough but one of them was not as friendly as the others. She seemed a little arrogant with customers and wouldn't smile at all. Food 6/10 Service 6/10 Price 6/10.
