Great staff, delicious food. Very authentic with delicate flavours and a wide range of choices. Probably the best Thai restaurant in Manchester.

Dalat – NorthendenWent along for lunch today and it was a terrible experience. The service was poor which you can make allowances for if the food is good - however....... I had soup to start but couldn't tell what it should have been, it was just terribly salty. My main course of the chicken stuffed with tomatoes and goats cheese was disappointingly bland and the 'fondant' potato was a lump of a greasy, hard substance that I would struggle to call potato - it was certainly inedible. Having decided to skip coffee, we asked for the bill and after a 10 minute wait in which time the bill didn't appear, we had to approach the bar to pay. Needless to say we didn't leave a tip and we will not return. I would normally have said something to the staff but as I was in company, I bit my lip - actually that was tastier than the 'meal'!
The Lounge – RamsbottomWe have recently moved to the area and because we had been decorating we decided to get a take away and because I had seen in a local paper that the Blue Raj had won an award recently we ordered a take away. The food was very oily and didn't seem freshly cooked (more warmed up) in fact my husband felt very ill a few hours after eating. It's off our list we won't be going back!
Blue Raj – UrmstonWe went last month for our anniversary and we made an excellent choice. The food was lovely really fresh, good portions and the service was very attentive. There was a good variety of food on the menu and the specials even for a fussy eater like me we will be going back soon.
Isinglass – Urmstonhorrible first i went to the bathroom n saw that sum1 had threw up all over and it had not been cleaned. they we didn't receive our starters.
Akbars – Manchester City CentreAs the restaurant is named dough you would think that this is an area they would specialise in. A good pizza is very easy to make but even easier to get wrong. Unfortunately for dough they just haven't got it right. Whilst the pizza toppings are average the pizza bases resemble supermarket own brand. It's a shame because the location is good and the staff very pleasant. I can think of six or seven other places in Manchester city centre I would prefer to go for a pizza and most of these have a wide selection of meat and fish dishes as well.
Dough Pizza Kitchen – Northern QuarterJust got back from the Swan with Two Nicks where we had a shocking experience. We ordered our food, waited, waited, after 45 minutes enquired as to where our food was. We had young children with us, who were starving and bored by this time. We were told our order had been lost, not just forgotten but lost. They retook our order, and brought us some bread to keep the kids going. The bread was dotted with mould, so that went back. When the food finally arrived, the venison steak was dry and tough, the chips were undercooked and tasteless, the veggies over cooked... They knocked a kids meal off the bill, but we still paid over £30 for 2 poor main courses and a drink each. It used to be a great pub, we won't be going again.
Swan With Two Nicks – AltrinchamJust had "lunch" ....spot on !!
Lal Qila – RusholmeGreat food at reasonable price. staff are friendly and helpful especially with children. This was my fourth visit this year and already planning my fifth.
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonWe came across the restaurants website a while ago and only just tried it, as shame as we have been missing out. There is plenty of bog standard Italian eateries, however going of the dishes we had, La Roma's food seemed to be a notch up above the norm. The starters had a different twist to the usual items served up, pate stuffed mushrooms in filo pastry - deep fried, and stuffed tomatoes with tuna and crab in a sauce - very nice and just that bit different. My wife always goes for a Lasagna, this was the first one she had where the meat did not taste of cheap 'meat pie' flavor - it was very nice. I had pizza, the dough was crisp and thin, with a good, not overwhelming topping. We went mid week and found the service very good and friendly.
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonReally cozy ambiance; delicious, fresh food; very good service. I can only recommend this restaurant and will be back again with guests.
Bistro West 156 – DidsburyI used to eat at this restaurant a few years ago, but stopped going as the service was quite poor. However, we visited on 1st May, and our experience was absolutely excellent! I think it is now new owners. The food was fantastic (especially the King Prawns in batter - MASSIVE!!). The service was probably the best that we've had in a restaurant for ages. We really couldn't find any fault at all, and we can't wait to return to try out the rest of the menu! We had an excellent evening, and it was fantastic value for money.
La Salsa – HorwichExcellent starters. The best onion bhaji's and meat samosa's I've tasted in a long while. The flavour/spicing in the main course was a delight. The naan was light, soft and really good. Unfortunately the meat was overcooked and a bit dry.
Blue Tiffin – RoytonFood was very tasty but so overpriced if you consider you get more in the take-away for a quarter of the price.Restaurant itself looked lovely liked the decor.
Turkish Delight – ChorltonI Have been eating at the Rajdoot since I was about 5 years old and can confirm that in my well travelled experience it is THE BEST Indian cuisine I have ever tasted. Sant in Manchester is a fine manager and guests are all treated with respect and as they deserve. Keep up the good work Sant.
Rajdoot Tandoori – Manchester City CentreA wonderful relaxing experience! A refreshingly child-friendly restaurant set in beautiful surrounding. The food is the best italian we have ever tasted and the staff are very friendly[nothing was too much trouble]. Would recommend La Roma too everyone.
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonFantastic food in a peaceful setting. A very friendly place. We have a young daughter & the friendliness of staff make going out for a meal so much easier. They even prepare a mickey mouse style pizza just for the kids with jug ears shaped dough. An extensive menu, but I cannot seem to get beyond the chilli garlic bread & prawn tagliatelle flavoured with fennel. Beautiful.
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonDon't go here! I used to eat here then I read in the local paper they'd been fined a lot of money by Environmental Health because it's so filthy. Yuk!
