Shiraz Restaurant – NorthendenThe best curries etc in the northwest.Staff are fantastic and even kitchen staff very friendly. The restaurant is lovely and clean and the menu is superb.I can`t risk going anywhere else
The Pavilion – BoltonWe absolutely love this restaurant and its our favourite local place to eat. Perfect for lunch, mid week, or a special Saturday night for couples, friend or groups. We've eaten here many times and will return again and again. The food is consistently fantastic and never disappointing and the menu has plenty of choice. The home-made soups are amazing and the deserts are devine! The service is friendly and efficient and the Stables is cosy and welcoming. The Stables is a credit to the owner, Tim, and we'd recommend it to anyone who appreciates good food.
Stables Restaurant – HydeWe had a meal at the Cheshire line tavern on 26th Sept. 11 of us, and each of us were really impressed. When we booked they knew it was for a birthday and the table was dressed up beautifully to make it special. The meals were served correctly, and all together, massive portions!! Would certainly recommend and we're looking at the Christmas menu. :-)
Cheshire Line Tavern – CheadleMy wife and myself have returned to Chinese Delight on several occasions and have always had excellent service, the attention to detail has been first class every time. Over attentiveness or first class service - I would say "First class Service" . Always fresh ingredients, never rushed, the table is ours for the night, always last to leave. Booked for last sitting New years eve, see you there.
Chinese Delight Restaurant – BoltonBeen to this Restaurant on numerous occasions for birthday parties. However, I am constantly disappointed with the service and the arrogance of the manager who walks around looking down on people with an abrupt attitude, totally unappreciative of his customers. The food is average and the waiters and waitresses annoy on all visits by rushing you as you eat by clearing your table half way through your meal. it happens every time and I am always dismayed when a friend decides to have their birthday meal there as I know we're in for more of the same!
Tapios Restaurant – MiddletonI've been here quite a few times and have always experienced great service and food. The staff will go out of their way to accommodate special requests. I have recommended it to friends and family and will continue to do so!
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonThis is my first visit at the Chaophraya and my first impression was this is not a children friendly restaurant. There were 7 of us including my 22 months old son, we were led to a table that had high stools and high bench which were not safe for my son to sit. So I asked the waitress if there were any other tables that are lower down (normal height) and she replied no, then she point at the high bench and indicate that my son can sit there. I don't think she really care about the safety aspect nor did she offer a high chair for my son. It was then I saw they had a baby high chair (very dirty) at the corner, so I asked her whether he can use that high chair, she just said yes and walked off. So we had to go and get the high chair and clean it ourselves. We actually felt this waitress was unfriendly and quite rude in the way she treated us. The food was good but the service was quite poor.
Chaophraya – Manchester City Centregreat food, loved the papaya salad. not so sure about the chicken they used though it looked very pale and lacked texture....please start buying proper fresh chicken!!
Dalat – NorthendenMy friends & i discovered this restaurant a couple of years ago now, & absolutely love it!! From the lovely, fresh cooked food, the wait staff & the owner who constantly wanders round chatting to the guests, checking on the food & generally making people smile. Its a nice cosy atmosphere & a great place for either dates or group catch up nights. Everything is reasonably priced & there is a good variety of foods & wines to choose from. I am currently in the process of arranging a night out with old friends & this will be our first port of call & I'm really looking forward to it, cant say enough good things about this place!!
Saporito – PrestwichThe best Indian food ever I had, do not forget to order Lamb Kadai and Fish Tikka..It attracts me every day..
Jai Kathmandu – NorthendenAt first I was impressed with Planet Spice. They were honest about delivery times (1hr!) and on first impression, the food was good. Unfortunately, there happened to be hair in the food. We binned all remaining food except the contaminated dish and complained to the management. At first we were pleased with the professionalism of the management who were happy to issue a refund upon us returning the food. The manager called again shortly after to inform us they would not issue a refund, but offered a replacement (why on Earth would we eat again from their kitchen?!). They assured us that on the outcome of relevant tests, they would issue a refund on only the contaminated dish. We refused and will be taking this up with the relevant department at the Council. What a waste of £15. Don't order!
Planet Spice – SaleI would recommend SUl Lago to all lovers of Italian food. Good service and good food also just booked for new year eve excellent evening with dance and fireworks ciao
Sul Lago – OldhamHaving enjoyed many an evening at La Roma when it was located at Chapeltown Road Edgworth I was delighted to find out that they were still in business. Nothing had changed apart from the location, the service was spot on as was the food. The menu had all the Italian dishes which you would expect plus some more unusual ones, a hidden gem that is well worth a visit.
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonWithout doubt one of thee best restaurants I've eaten in Manchester up there with my other fave The Market. Took a trip there last Friday with my better half and opted for the early bird set menu which turned out to be an absolute bargain, from the delish soup, perfect rissoto and sublime dessert. Coupled with great decor and atmosphere, reasonably priced wine menu, miss this place at your peril!!!!
Damson – StockportTook my other half and mum here for a birthday treat, very average tapas and small portions (for tapas dishes),expensive and as previous recommendations same sauces seem to re-appear,disappointed to be honest. Not a patch on El Rincon!
Evuna Deansgate – Manchester City CentreAte here 2 weeks ago will be the 1st and last time. Love Greek food but this place seems to have lost any sense of Greek identity with some weird dishe's !
Bouzouki By Night – Manchester City CentreHad a great time and more important great food!!!!!!! traditional Persian restaurant in Manchester would go back again.
