The all-vegetarian menu is small-ish with a broadly Eastern slant. Nothing too inspiring, but prepare to be pleasantly surprised: the chef has a know-how with herbs and spices you'd normally associate with somewhere far more pretentious and French. Every dish has at least three more interesting flavours than you were expecting. I had the famous bangers & mash, and it was outstanding in all areas. The downside was that it was, ultimately, bangers & mash: like most of the menu, it was unseasonal for summer and clearly inspired by meatier cuisine, and I tend to think vegetarian cooking is at its best when it dares to be different.
