Hi just to say as family we got to the Bilash great staff in there kid friendly!! mint food !!!
Bilash Balti House – SwintonGo to the grapes on a regular basis, for either a night out or for a family meal. the carvery is outstanding and even a bog standard baguette with chips is melt in your mouth stuff. would definitely recommend to anyone x
The Grapes Pub – OldhamAbsolutely top class - food is always faultless, with new dishes often added alongside the classics. Service is excellent, staff very professional. I have eaten all over the world, but China Cottage takes some beating. It is always good, never has an off-day - and we've been there plenty of days!!
New China Cottage – RamsbottomThis is a great restaurant, everything was perfect. I went with my girlfriend for a special wed offer, great choice on the set menu. We had a 3 course meal with a bottle of house wine and the bill was £35.90. Really really great place. See you next week.
Azzurro Restaurant – DidsburyOn Monday 8th sep I had the great pleasure of eating in this what can only be described as the finest chinese restaurant I have ever eaten in. I ordered hot & sour soup which was delightful then for my main meal I had Fillet steak in red chilli which I have had recently in China town in London which compared to this was like eating tasteless rubber. The meal can only be described as being mind blowingly hot I have eaten phals but they were nothing on this every mouthful was bang instant heat as the sichan pepper kicked in. With this I also had egg fried rice which was as fluffy and light as cotton wool. I would give this 10/10 & recommend to anyone who is going to Manchester
Red Chilli – Manchester City CentreThis restaurant became a Tapas Restaurant earlier this year and the food was fantastic. My husband and i have been 3 times in quite close succession. Unfortunately, the surroundings are seriously lacking. Considerable investment needs to be made to transform the interior. I have recommended the food to many people but, everyone of them has said they would not go, as it looks so rundown. The restaurant has not been opening in the evening recently and is now just serving breakfast and lunch. This is very sad as the chef clearly has a talent that is being wasted
Mario Cafe Bar – WesthoughtonI ate here last week with a work party of 17 people. The food was excellent - I ate ostrich and it was absolutely delicious. Very professional, friendly service, great atmosphere and fantastic cocktails! I will definitely be going back!
The Hale Grill – HaleMade to feel very welcome even though we turned up on the last minute on a Tuesday night! Lovely food- interesting menu, obviously fresh food and family run. Really enjoyed ourselves and certainly will be going back!
The Harrows – RochdaleThe best Indian restaurant for miles around,by far. My wife and I have been back time after time, taking friends and relatives to this Jewel in the Crown. If you haven't tried the excellent atmosphere and fantastic cuisine then you are truly missing out. Excellent service by attentive staff coupled with a wide range of dishes make this restaurant our favourite. We've tried Indian restaurants from Goa to the Canaries and Mahabharat still comes out on top. We've been midweek and at weekends (be sure to book at the weekend, it's very popular) and always get the same excellent service. George and the team, have done, and continue run a quality establishment. Top marks from us.
Mahabharat Restaurant – WiganWe went to Akbar's on Sunday night - around 9.30 pm so quite late and we only had to wait about 5 minutes. We'd been to the one in Leeds before and loved the food, but I was slightly concerned whether the Manchester restaurant will have the same quality. We weren't disappointed. Gorgeous food that was miles ahead of other restaurants I'd been to (but for the same cost!). My partner had a lamb curry and really commended the quality of the meat. The service was great, our waiter was lovely and really helpful and friendly without being intrusive. The atmosphere was good - though it was a bit noisy clearly everyone was having a great time which creates a good feeling in the place. The lighting was dim, which created a very relaxed atmosphere. Loved it and I will definitely continue to go back for all my curry needs!
Akbars – Manchester City CentreMe and my boyfriend ate in the Harrows recently. We both had steak, and it was the nicest steak we have had in a long time. We will certainly be back to try the carvery one Sunday.
The Harrows – Rochdalerestaurant was a joke not even busy and the service was terrible is it normal to wait 35 mins for a veggie burger?? i thought not but according to the manager it is normal in this place , very poor customer service
Old Orleans – The PrintworksMy friend and I visited La Vina by chance. We were drawn in through the front door by the live band with Sax on a Friday night. The atmosphere, food and service was excellent and we have both returned since and recommended to our friends there. My favourite restaurant at the moment, I would highly recommend it.
La Vina – Manchester City Centrelooks great and the service is good but the standard of the food is not what i expected at all. I had piri piri chicken and fries, the chicken was soggy with the skin translucent and the fries were curly fries which made it look very chain food like, it wasn't authentic at all. My partner paid £10 for piella and there was only about 5 small pieces of meat in it and a mass of dry rice. to top it off i food a thick black hair in my meal i did mention this to the waitress and only hoped it was a head hair, oh i had to send my draught coke back as well as it was more or less soda water. save your money and go else where. Nandos is great over at the chill factor!
Las Iguanas – Trafford CentreThe atmosphere (from the decor, to the friendly staff) & the food is great, nice portions, good value for money. Also, I'm Muslim so the Halal meat is a big PLUS!!
Ning – Northern QuarterMy partner and I went for a meal there on Friday night. We had one of the banquet choices. The food was outstanding and the service was superb. The design of the restaurant was excellent and certainly added to the experience we had. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for somewhere special for a meal.
Pacifica Cantonese – Ecclesall the food was all home cooked !!! no chicken ding. it was well presented and fresh . the staff were so helpful and polite . the pub had a lovely atmosphere with open fires . and total value for money !!!!! for hot home cooked fresh food . 10 out 10
Church Inn – CheadleWe were in Manchester on August bank holiday Monday and used sugarvine to print out a selection of offers for city centre restaurants. After much deliberation we opted for Ning for dinner, We loved it. We took up the offer of 3 coures for £10!!! Fab food, massive portions and great staff. Deserves to succeed
