Lovely country pub which serves very good food, there is so much to choose from it's very hard to decide what to have. I have always been impressed by the Rigbye.

Rigbye Arms Country Inn and Bistro – WiganOK if you cheap meal but the service is poor (mainly 16 year old's waiting), food is ok but by no means outstanding. Wouldn't go again.
Beeches Restaurant and Hotel – WiganFrozen fishcakes re-hashed in a deep fat fryer? Salad smothered in Mayo? One of the worst restaurants in Mcr.
Cafe Istanbul – Manchester City CentreIt's the MacDonalds of the Mexican food world! I went on Friday night; Would I go again? No. Staff didn't know what the ingredients were and the ambience is like...... MacDonalds.
Barburrito – Manchester City CentreWe have been patrons of this Pizzeria for over 27 years. It is our favourite for genuine authentic Italian food. The staff are so friendly and the service is second to none.Tino and his family and staff ensure that you have not only exceptionally good food but also that you enjoy the whole experience of your time spent there. We would certainly recommend an evening or luncheon at the Pizzeria Bella Italia.
Pizzeria Bella Italia – BuryI cannot believe that the previous reviews for this restaurant are for the same place that I ate last night. Starters were not fresh & obviously cooked from frozen. We had to wait 40 minutes inbetween our starters & mains. We asked for more drinks which we never received & when we got our mains they were pretty tasteless. The restaurant wasn't busy so no excuse for service this poor. There are far superior restaurants in China Town, Red Chilli being one. Going to Happy Seasons was like going back in time 15 years, not a happy experience.
Happy Seasons Chinese Restaurant – Manchester City Centrea place to be when you want a family night out, for me it was one of the best restaurant in around stockport, not a lot Indian restaurants offer you a 10% discount if you work for the NHS well they did and make me proud to hold a NHS card thank you last monsoon..
Last Monsoon – Stockportlast monsoon was the place for me to have my birthday party i really enjoyed with all my family, sugar vine is the place that i can tell my feelings it wont be my last birthday at the last monsoon..
Last Monsoon – StockportWe went to Alberts Shed for the first and last time last night. The food was lovely, but the service was poor beyond belief. The mains were brought to the table before we'd had time to finish our starters and then we had to wait an hour for the dessert to arrive having been told that our order had been lost. Plus no one came and offered more drinks at all. We were really disapointed after reading so many good reviews. It was a busy Saturday night but that should be no excuse for poor service. Thankfully the dessert was removed from the bill as we had waited so long. Certainly won't be going back.
Alberts Shed – Manchester City CentreHad a meal there Saturday 29 September. Only complaint is that of service. The meal took over 40 minutes from being order to be served. And it wasn't a particular busy night. The quality of the meal was very good. The decor excellent. But it did spoil the experience.
Wiggin Tree – WiganDecide to try out this restaurant with their lunch deal - 3 courses for £8.95. Service was friendly and quite efficient but we found the food rather mediocre. The caprese salad was swimming in oil and the mozerella was rubbery and tasteless. Pizzas were disappointingly average and over-seasoned, and the profiteroles for dessert were unpleasant hsving a "cheesy" taste. To top it all, the piped music was awful. Sorry Mezzaluna but we won't be returning - there are too many better restaurants in Chorlton.
Lusitano – ChorltonMe and my friends were very happy. Very good food at reasonable price. Medium Lamb, Vindaloo chicken and butter chicken was what we ordered. The owner gave us 15% discount for student too. We will definitely come back again
Shahenshah Restaurant – RusholmeAs A group of 12 dining for the first time I can honestly say we had a very enjoyable meal.So much so that we are on our way back tonight if we can get a booking!
La Famiglia – Halegood
Casa Belmondo – RoytonThe whole feel to the place was great but the food was overpriced and awful to start the garlic bread was dry and burnt i payed over £5 for five small scallops (overcooked and under seasoned) and a scrap of bacon and a gallon of olive oil errr the main course chicken and king prawns was tasteless the steak dianne was boring and the choc pudding tasted of plastic and they charged me £75 for the honour!!!! ps silver service is old is outdated
Bellavista – RochdaleJust to let people know that Greens is no longer bring your own. I was quite embarassed to arrive with a bottle of wine only to be told they no longer offered this service. The food however, is always spot on and the service friendly without being overbearing. Not being able to bring your own has affected the price however. This is a great restaurant, however I do feel they should inform customers on the phone whilst booking that you can no longer bring your own wine. It saves the staff and customers embarrassment
Greens – DidsburyThis is a delightful restaurant. The food is excellent - fresh and tasty, and the service friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it as somewhere different and original.
Persia Grill House – ChorltonI have been there a couple of times, i have found the food to be excellent, there is a service with a smile, and you feel relaxed everytime you go there
