Been to Cinnamon on numerous occasions and the food is always excellent (better since changing hands!) Courteous staff, quick service and never feel rushed. Would definitely recommend.

Cinnamon Indian Cuisine – WiganThe food at the Heylam is very disappointing, it wasn't warm enough, the egg fried rice tasted very plain and the atmosphere is dreadful, i will not be going back. Also disappointing that they don't sell chicken wings!
Heylam – SaleMy husband took me here for my birthday... i've heard about Gaucho many times, but with so many restaurants to pick from when you live in Manchester, the prices on the online menus for Gaucho always caused me too chose others before it. Big mistake! As soon as we walked in, i was impressed. The place is visually gorgeous, and the front of house staff were very polite and, for a change in Manchester nowadays, smiling! Our waitress was undoubtedly the friendliest, most knowledgable waitress i have ever encountered. There's nothing this woman did not know, nor was there anything that was too much trouble! She really made us feel important. I noticed that all the waitresses for other parts of the floor, were the same. As for the food, the table bread and oil 'dip were out of this world.. so much so that i got the ingredients for the dip from the waitress, and will try to recreate at home... i could've gladly just eaten that for the night! The starter of Argentinian Sausage and mashed potato were lovely (although miniscule for the hefty price tag... but who cares!) The fillet stake was melt in your mouth, and for such a quality piece of meat, was excellent value for money. I had the 225g (smallest) cut, and was left uncharacteristically unable to have a desert, due to being full! The 'fat' chips were gorgeous too... not really chips, more like big roast potatoes! Cocktail menu was extensive and very fancy... the one i picked in the end was more like a desert in a glass, but having a sweet tooth, that suited me fine, and i really enjoyed it. The meal for 2 came to just under £60.. not bad for 1 starter, 2 fillet steak mains (one larger than the other), 2 or 3 argentinian largers, and a hefty cocktail. Also, refreshingly nowadays, gratuity wasn't automatically added onto the bill (how do places get away with this anyway!) and we were glad to hear that any tip given for the excellent service, goes straight to those who have provided it! Overall, the food was really nice, but the service we received made it 100 times better. i will be returning in a flash!
Gaucho – Manchester City CentreThis place was the best a few years ago. Unfortunately they seem to have lost their edge and I have had too many disappointing meals to consider returning. I know of several ex-regular customers who share this view.
Sagar Indian Cuisine – HorwichWe didn't actually get to eat at this place. We booked a table fancying somewhere new but the awful impolite unfriendly attitude we got from this guy (he couldn't understand us and wouldn't even look or speak to me but kept addressing my hubby) made us leave before we'd even ordered, so I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Went instead to Malanchoo's in Newton and had a fantastic meal, so fresh out of oven Nan bread was too hot to handle!!
Lal Quilla Restaurant – Wigani love the atmosphere and the food is gorgeous and the staff are very friendly i would highly recommend it to any age group i have been at different times of the year
Blue Diamond Restaurant – Rochdaleme and my girlfriend have bin a few times and we both enjoyed the food and service the food was really good and the price was average to we would recommend it to anybody
China Lounge – WhitefieldWe were wandering round China town and chose this restaurant by chance. We had a wonderful meal at lunchtime, three courses for £6.50. The chicken in red wine and brandy sauce was superb. The staff were friendly and polite. Would definitely go again.
Try Thai – Manchester City CentreAll I can say is that this Taverna was always good, but now it is simply superb !!
Sokrates Taverna – HorwichExcellent place.. am ashamed to say have lived near this restaurant for 5 years and only tried it couple of months ago. What a pity. It was excellent. Could do with more staff tho; one poor waitress was running round after a full floor of people. She did brilliantly though. Am going back!
Aladdin – DidsburyService: comical. The waiter was rude and got every single order wrong. Food: poor. I ordered a fillet steak medium rare and was presented with a sirloin steak folded in half and well done to within and inch of its life. Not cheap either at £17. Ambience: we were seated in a conservatory with very bright lighting and it was very noisy. Cost: very overpriced for the standard of the food and restaurant in general.
La Scala – WesthoughtonThis place is awesome - I now go there every day. In fact, why am I telling you this ? I want to be able to get a seat inside. It's awful, don't go there under any circumstances !!!
Katsouris – Manchester City CentreThe best chip shop in the entire universe!
Sykes Fish and Chip Shop Cafe – SwintonCan't believe no one has commented earlier. Have been to this restaurant on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. My friends celebrate my birthday every year there and this weekend is no exception. (my 40th and my other friends 39th) Food is great and the atmosphere is fantastic. Waiters are easy on the eye and is always a plus point for the girls. Can recommend everything on the menu.
Tapios Restaurant – MiddletonThis restaurant has consistently improved over the years we have lived in Standish, a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the quality of the food set against the prices is excellent.
Taste Of Bengal The – WiganMy food came out cold twice in the same evening!!
Lammars – Northern Quarterthe food was delish!
Wayfarer Restaurant – WiganHaving visited Akbars twice, the second time to confirm my first thoughts, I decided I would definitely be not going again. Although the food was OK, the level of noise,(very loud and echoey and called to your table by a tannoy system ) the extremely long wait for a table(you can not book) and the overall ambiance of a cattle market was a little off putting to say the least!!!! I find it hard to believe that anyone would wish to eat in these ungainly circumstances. I like to be able to hear what my friends are saying when eating out and don't want a waiter wiping the table with a dishcloth until I have left the premises! Oh well, call me old fashioned!
