As first time visitors to this lovely little restaurant, we were totally blown away by the standard of the food and service. this is an absolutely fantastic place to eat, we really recommend that you try it, you will not be disappointed.

I highly recommend this restaurant; the food in amazing and the prices are fantastic. The environment calmy serene, and you don't get any hassle. The waiters are extremely polite and I wish to thank Leo and his Chef for an amazing meal that we had with the Chambers family. Thank you.

This is a regular Restaurant for us. Wonderful dinning experience everytime. Totally relaxed atmosphere, wonderful food as always whether its a Steak or Pasta. Cant wait for our next visit!! Where else can you get a quality meal with wine for under £50.00?

I would certainly NOT visit this place again. The waiters were totally ignorant towards the needs of both my wife and I on our anniversary and when the foos did arrive, it was cold and full of spices - when it was specifically requested to be mild! The toilets stunk, it nearly made me puke, and the service... well... let's not go there... Advised to avoid at all costs!

Okay... so I've eaten at many an Indian restaurant before - and I've the belly to prove it; accumulated over many years of gorging on both the indifferent to the sublime Indian dishes for over 20 years! Where does EastzEast come into this? It erases everything I've had in the last 20 years and has redefined the essence of superior quality. Without doubt, it is the best Indian I've had not only in Manchester, but anywhere - the only place that runs it close in terms of Chicken Masala in the Westgate in Bradford (and that is just in terms of the that dish - it's not a place you would like to dine out in - it's one of those 'Roy of the Rovers' type of places - an old favourite). All in all, there is nothing at all I can say to fault EastzEast. The Riverside premises are stunning, the attention to detail and going the extra mile for customers was highly visible and indeed heartwarming as the Mrs and I came on a Friday evening. We weren't rushed - despite it being packed to the rafters, the quality of the food was off the scale and the price - a VERY pleasant surprise. My conclusion - the ultimate dining experience - miss out at your own peril.

I would not recommend this restaurant for service. Although the food is nice, the quality of customer service is terrible, On arrival and departure my husband and I experienced no friendly greeting (not even a smile!). Whilst choosing our drinks, we got hurried along by the woman who was serving us and when they only bought 1 drink out and we had to ask for the other, there was no apology made. When we asked for the bill, this comprised of one figure with no breakdown and when we asked for the breakdown, discovered they had sneakily included a 10% service charge. We are regular diners and this is the worse experience we have had in a long time, if you want a good dining experience try Chaophraya, Tai Wu or Pan asia.

.I went to La Lupa on friday 19th march with my partner and daughter, after reading all the great feed back that the restaurant had received i was surprised that our trip there was a disaster and we will never step foot in there again, the food was OK, apart from my daughters dessert, that i saw the waiter make behind the bar. Then put it into the microwave, it had ice-cream on!, so it looked like slop in a bowl when it was brought to our table, we had to wait 20min for drinks even tho there was 2 staff waiting on 3 tables, and not one person spoke to us apart from taking our order, not a friendly service at all, never again!!!

Very tasty food and great atmosphere

I together with my husband and 2 friends ate at the restaurant on Sunday and found the ambiance very pleasant. The starters of soup, breaded mushrooms and melon all were good. However, the main courses were disappointing. Plenty of meat, pork, beef and turkey all succulent but the gravy was without taste and cold. The vegetables carrots OK but the overcooked cabbage was sloppy. The roast potatoes not bad. There definitely could have been more colour to the dish with perhaps a few peas. Price wise OK but I would rather pay a little more and have extra well cooked vegetables. The choice of sweet was good. I will try again but before ordering will enquire as to what vegetables are to be served. One other thing I found a grey hair in my dinner, none of the party had grey hair.

LOTUS HOUSE, Palatine Rd, Northenden. My partner and I visited this restaurant this evening with our 5 year old twins. I was extremely impressed by the quality of service and the quality of the food. The staff were great with the children and the menu of Malaysian and South Indian/ Tamil food is well thought out. The food when it arrived was carefully and expertly prepared. I look forward to my next visit to this restaurant and I hope that their venture is a success.

Went to Ambiente last night. Will NOT be returning. Food was ok, nothing special. Plates were hot, but food was lukewarm. The worst was trying to get a drink, waited 45 minutes for a glass of wine! The rest of our party waited 35 minutes for mojitos. In a period of 3 hours we manged to get 2 drinks. Not great service, seemed like the staff really did not want to be there or be bothered. All in all not a good experience, and that a real shame!

I went with a couple of girlfriends to the Lowry on Thursday, having seen that they had a £15 3-course meal deal. The restaurant was a bit empty, so the atmosphere wasn't exactly buzzing, but the food was great and the staff were so friendly and attentive (without seeming fawning or false). We had a great time and felt like film starts (on the cheap). No idea why more people aren't taking advantage of this special deal.

This is a true kinda hidden gem in Chorlton. I saw hidden as the front of the restaurant is a turkish takeout, and a very busy popular one at that. Once through the takeout in the front, you enter a wonderful atmosphere of local, friendly,accommodating charm and that is just the service. The food is amazing, and the whole experience just fantastic. After returning from Turkey last year from a holiday, it's wonderful to have some of that lovely Turkish hospitality coupled with fabulous, fresh, tasty cuisine.

I visited this restaurant many times and i have been disappointed every time i have been now the standard of the food has gone down,i had the ribs which were always my favorite and my husband had the soup,the rib sauce tasted like grease and the rest of the meal was foul.the service was just as bad there is just no atmosphere at all. will not be visiting again.

Not! The manager shouted abuse at me when I asked for the High Chair we had reserved and been promised. He pulled my chair back and almost asked me to leave then calmed down and apologised for the lack of a chair but not his behaviour. We had already been made to stand and wait 10 mins with 2 young children until the last member of our party arrived even though our table was ready and waiting but it is his policy to forbid guests to sit down until all have arrived! Not a good experience. Food unexceptional. Rest of the staff polite and helpful.

hello I'm so sorry to tell you this as a well wisher,the price n food quality was fair a few months back.. It will be nice if u focus on the quality of dosas and vada thiis time.its an experience to take a sip of chicken rasam,sambar etc.. your service is excellent till the starters and should have much patience to wait for main course,
