Went in here on a sunny Sunday afternoon, and had a couple of excellent sandwiches, freshly made, in cool and funky simple white decor. A lovely place to go for a light snack, and pick up one or two delightful little items while you're there.
North Star Deli – ChorltonA very very nice experience. All round top quality and a thoroughly enjoyable visit. Good quality food, helpful staff, and a nice atmosphere for drinks afterwards. Recommended to others.
Chaophraya – Manchester City CentreFantastic food, good menu (also for my vegetarian wife). Lovely atmosphere, and very friendly service. All at a reasonable price.
Sokrates Taverna – HorwichBlooming lovely!! Very good food which was reasonable considering how nice the place is. Very impressed.
Chaophraya – Manchester City CentreHaving been once, i came back again. Great Chinese atmosphere. Very courteous waiters.
Little Yang Sing – Manchester City CentreI am a regular at El Rincons, and have to say every Saturday lunch is always a pleasure, I am addicted to there Gambus pil pil, and the filleto steak, yum yum, I can also recommend the new potatoes in a wine/oil sauce of the specials menu very tasty, my boyfriend can never decide on them or the patatas bravas, There aioli is soooo divine, ask for it think its only 1.50 and great to dip your bread in, We had the Cumberland sausages of the specials menu the other Saturday very very nice.. I am wanting to try so many different things of the menu, but I end up ordering the same things, We went 2 Saturdays ago for a late lunch about 3ish and it was packed, had to wait 20 mins, so I will be booking next time, getting very popular. if you have not been please go you WONT be disappointed.
El Rincon de Rafa – Manchester City CentreNot only you will find the best bitter from Marble Brewery you will also be surprised by the menu. From light bites to home made bangers and mash, burgers and a wide selection of vegetarian dishes... My favourite for this spring is the Crab Chilli and coconut salad! The staff is really friendly and the atmosphere unique.
Bar, The – ChorltonVisited the lead station on sun 06/05/07 & had a wonderful meal & a lovely time.. we have been a few times now & would just like to praise the wonderful floor staff, from our friendly greeting,(the Scottish manager who always seems to be on duty)but, still manages to make each guest feel equally as important as the next, to the waiting on staff who seem to buzz & work better the busier the place becomes.. Would highly recommend the lead station to anyone who likes eating out. Keep doing what you?e doing & don? lose your friendly staff.
Lead Station – ChorltonI came across this restaurant purely by chance... what a find! The food was absolutely stunning! It was fairly quiet when we ate (Sunday evening around 9.30pm but there were lots of Italians eating there which I always think is a good sign. The staff were attentive but not so that they were intruding...but the food.... I just can't describe how happy I was...I am quite a fussy eater and I had no complaints hat so ever... the starters of breaded mozzarella were delicious... not greasy or rubbery and my main course was cheese stuffed ravioli with a cream and pesto sauce... it was so tasty! My partner had Calzone which was the biggest I have ever seen and he also said this was delicious... we didn't have much room for dessert but had to try something as we were so impressed so had the five flavours of ice cream... and yes... you guessed it..... deeeeeeelicious! I am in danger of never eating anywhere else when I go to Manchester as I know the food here is amazing. ooooo and the price! starters, mains, one desert, 2 coffees and two beers.... under £40...... I nearly sent them back to double check! Bargain!
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreVery good restaurant. Id heard good things from work colleagues so thought we'd give it a try. I was thoroughly impressed form the very first second we walked through the door.. staff unlike any Ive seen before - they ACTUALLY do care about the customers. The food is very very good and its a very welcome to Manchester. Congratulations Chaophraya, I think you are the best restaurant in Manchester.
Chaophraya – Manchester City CentreA fantastic meal for two. Neither my partner or I are vegetarian but this was on of the best meals we ever had..
Greens – DidsburyExcellent variety, served by professional staff in a cosy friendly atmosphere, well recommended.
Greens – DidsburyFrom the moment you walk through the door at Leos, you are treated as a friend of the family, a warm welcome and excellent friendly service is always guaranteed. The food is superb, and as previously mentioned, the home made tiramisu is simply to die for. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the ingredients used are first class. A running joke in our household is that we can never go out to dinner without one of us having to send something back or finding something less than satisfactory, but not so at Leos. In the past few months we have visited on average once a week, and on each visit, the food, the service and the atmosphere has topped the scale.
Leo’s – HorwichWell yet again this restaurant never fails me, and the manager remembered me, and gave us a fab table, I booked to go at 9.30pm last sat, the food was outstanding, my boyfriend and I had garlic tomato bread to start with a side of olives, which are amazing. then I had the chicken ceasar salad as my main, my boyfriend had the fillet steak, which he described as top nosh!! we had a side order of rosemary potatoes!! 10 out of 10 to all at piccolinos see you in 4 weeks for my next reservation. CHOW!
Piccolino- Caffe Grande – Manchester City Centrenow under new management and offers a very extensive menu with very generous portions and brilliantly presented . Staff very pleasant and efficient. a great evening out
Stables Restaurant – HydeBrill Brill Brill - what a find. We were told to go by a couple we got chatting to at a comedy club, a bit random but if it crops up in conversation with strangers you think it must be good, and we weren't disappointed. Staff are fab.
Smiths Restaurant – EcclesI was in town on business and stumbled on this place, I ended up going back a different night too as a treat. The food was excellent, very authentic and generous portions and it's very good value for money. The staff where very attentive and friendly and made feel welcome. Would definitely go back.
