Three Crowns Inn and Restaurant – OldhamI've eaten here twice now, 1st time as a takeaway, i had the chicken chilli udon which is 20% off for takeaway, portions were large and tasty, not the hottest dish i've had but pretty good, plenty of veg and beansprouts as well as chicken and noodles. my 2nd experience was eating in on sunday lunchtime, i had the 2 courses for £4.95 and my green salad was quite tasty and not too filling , but the main course was excellent, i cant remember what it was called but it was a kind of vietnamese pho noodle broth, with large chunks of braised beef with hardly any fat/gristle, the noodles were excellent with very fresh bak choi and i slurped my way through the bowl and was left warm and nourished, i am looking forward to having lunch there very soon.
Umami – Manchester City CentreThe whole dining experience at the High Moor is outstanding. My wife and I have visited the majority of the restaurants in the locale and this is by far the best. Simon the host is enthusiastic about his establishment and sources local produce. The High Moor delivers the complete dining experience in a warm and comfortable olde worlde setting. There is a very small bar but you are there for the food not the drink. The staff are attentive without being in your face. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Quality all the way. Excellent
High Moor Restaurant – WiganFantastic food, the portion size was spot on. The service was attentive and efficient. Good wine list. Everyone at my table had a lovely night. I would recommend the Moroccan lamb - delicious!
Bistro West 156 – DidsburyI booked this restaurant based on the reviews I'd read on this website. I was not disappointed. Really nice place, great food served and cooked beautifully, good value for money, and in no way pretentious. I'd definitely eat there again.
Jem and I Bar and Grill – DidsburyMe and my boyfriend visited this restaurant a few weeks ago, and we were very impressed indeed. Fantastic service, we were sat rite near the kitchen, fantastic to watch the chefs.... We had olives and bread for starters, and then ostrich fillet and a kobe burger. Fantastic food and plenty, although u have to pay for side orders on some meals. We treated ourselves to champagne/ and a champagne beer, unusual?! But we enjoyed out night thoroughly....we will be back in the near future. I? recommend anyone to eat at this restaurant.
The Grill On the Alley – Manchester City Centrei agree with other comments, El Rincon as the feel of a typical Spanish tapas bar, I think its the white tiles. Evuna has a much more cosy modern type feel. The tapas was very nice ,served by very friendly attentive staff, yes the wine was pricey(no need to be) overall a very nice place which you would not be disappointed with. A recommendation.
Evuna Deansgate – Manchester City CentreVisited this restaurant several times since it opened approx 11 months ago and I have recommended it to all my friends and family. The food is always to a high standard/healthy. It just requires a little more sauce for me personally on the main courses I have had. It has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere and the owner, (Martene), and staff are very friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. I would definitely rate this as my favourite Indian restaurant. Many thanks and see you soon!
Coriander – ChorltonWe went here 2 weeks ago taking advantage of free transport for over 60's going by train and returning by bus direct to our house. we booked on line but as we didn't get a confirmation hoped they had received it. i never really got an answer to this. However the restaurant was empty at 6.00 so we had the place to ourselves for an hour. The staff were very helpful to us with our non dairy requirements and my wife not wanting anything too hot. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced so we will be visiting regularly. The only surprising point was that a waiter brought us our bill before we had had our main course seemingly a mix up to our request for more wine!
East z East – Manchester City CentreExcellent food and atmosphere. A very enjoyable experience at reasonable price.
Indian Curry Cottage – Salebeen here twice now even though it is quite far for us to travel. Food was beautiful. there are always lots of parties going on but they managed to fit us in both times although they were pretty full!
Leo’s – HorwichHad a lovely meal here, this was the first time that we had visited this restaurant and enjoyed lovely food and atmosphere
Casa Nostra – WesthoughtonJust had a meal there. Starter was King Prawn with Garlic and Chilli. Served with a salad , the Garlic and Chilli were just right - not overpowering and the whole dish was delicious. Main Course was Medallions of Fillet Steak in a peppercorn sauce with cream and brandy. Cooked to perfection and again tasted delicious - nice and fiery but again not too much so. Served with roast spuds and carrots and green beans. Highly recommended.

Buffet City – Manchester City Centreabsolutely lovely food, beautifully presented. Treat yourself to a meal here it is well worth it.
White Hart – OldhamConsistently high standard of freshly cooked food. Good choice of menu including pasta, pizza and great meat and fish dishes. Out of town, but always worth the journey. Visited on different days of the week and the standard has always been high. Separate bar area handy for meeting up before dining and drinks after.
